    Hilarious writing and loveable characters
This podcast is definitely one of the funniest I’ve ever listened to!! Plus I’ve fallen in love with the characters, the quirky storytelling, and the good old island of Piffling Vale. Can’t wait for more!

    The BEST fictional comedy podcast
Took me so long to finally find this one but it was well worth the wait. It's clever and witty without an single element of feeling like it is scripted. Absolute comedic genius. Please keep up the good work. This is an absolute legend of a podcast.

Fantastic podcast! Ridiculously funny, which makes it kinda dangerous to listen in public because there's so many laugh out loud moments :D. Easily one of my fave fiction podcasts along with wolf 359. Keep up the great work team! - Jed Herne, host of the Novel Analyst Podcast

    Absolutely brilliant
I love this podcast SO much! Antigone is just the best, she is my spirit animal :) I binged this show and can't wait for the new episodes to come out. So good I've even paid for the extra episode specials they've released. HIGHLY recommend!

Warning: you will laugh out loud
Whip smart dialogue delivered by an extraordinary and talented cast. And be prepared to shed a tear when characters develop in moving and poignant storylines. It would be great to listen to a podcast about Eric Chapman’s past that happened ‘a long time ago...’

    One of the best
This is one of the highest quality podcasts I’ve ever heard. The writing is jammed packed with jokes, the laughs per minute are insane, the characters are extremely memorable, the performances are astounding the production quality is top notch. There aren’t many podcasts out there doing what Wooden Overcoats is mastering.

    Beautiful Brittish comedy
As good as anything the BBC does. Simply excelent.

    Brilliant British humour
It's like Black Books meets Fawlty Towers. Classic British humour of a calibre you'd expect from a professional outfit, not an amateur podcast. I have loved every minute of this show and I hope that one day there will be more tales from Piffling to delight our ears.

    Hilarious and entertaining
Recently discovered this gem of a Podcast and haven’t looked back. Its funny and ridiculous but in a way that seems totally plausible. I love that it is lighthearted while macabre and I would absolutely recommend you download the podcast and meet the characters of Piffling Vale!

Puts the fun in funny podcasts
Recently discovered this gem of a podcast. The characters are quirky, relatable, amusing and the writing and music is so interesting that it keeps you hooked. Overall a fantastic production that's worth a listen and will put a smile on your dial. Very Pushing Daisies style mixed with the setting of Six Feet Under. definitely give it a go!

    Hilariously Dark, Witty & Charming
The razor-sharp writing is performed brilliantly by the voice actors. Wonderful, traditional radio drama with refined pacing and excellent comic timing. If you enjoyed The Goon Show, give this gem a go!
