    Amazing and inspiring
I just got into podcasts and tried a few. I’m not into hearing people just talk about their opinions or current events so many were rejected. Then I found this beauty. I love the stories and how much it gets me writing my own again. I love the story tellers and how they relay the stories. I listen to at least one a day and plan on catching up. This is my favorite podcast and I can’t wait to check out their other stuff in the vault.

    It’s okay, but not great
There are a lot of stories that are pretty good. But there are also a good number of stories that are boring and are a waste of time. Worst thing about this podcast is the constant droning background music on most of the stories. It’s to loud and seems to barely change making it like nails on a chalkboard.

    OK, but Overproduced
Decent stories, good length. But key to art is knowing when to put down the brush. Too many sound effects and now they’ve introduced this staticy distortion effect on the narrator’s voice in every show. Tried three of the recent episodes and had to stop each one about 30 seconds in due to the annoying, screechy effect. Not spooky, just aggravating.

    Very enjoyable
I give this an A+ for sound effects. They’re not overpowering but timely and fun. They’re like a comic book. The Toy Factory….. WOW!

    Love love love your podcast
I grew up when talk radio was an actual thing. It was its fledgling days but my grandmother loved it and I also grew to love it. The addition to of the supernatural/paranormal/ sci-fi is a more perfect marriage than mine ever was! I ma just take a stab at writing none of these days. Until then keep ‘em coming. A subscriber! My favorite Pod Cast
The Other Stories are an exceptionally well written collection of short stories of the macabre, bizarre, sci-if, out of this world fiction. The narrators are superb, each voice fits every story as it were meant to be told in that fashion. The Host Luke Condors voice calms me in an eerie manner that soothes the days cares away.I am on my way to listening to every story. Some I must admit I’ve listened to multiple times. They are raw and deep and sometimes mesmerizing. If they are still up and running it would be a dream of mine to narrate a story, or even write a story to be told on the podcast. I’m a writer and aspiring narrator myself. I give T.O.S podcast 10 out of 5 stars. Cheers- Tasty•Thalia•

Great stories when on the move!
I’m the weirdo who loves horror stories while driving, and this is perfect. They aren’t too long and about the length of most of my drives.

    The wait kills me
I so enjoy this show it is killing me waiting for the next episode

    Absolutely Incredible
Honestly one of the best horror podcasts out there. Every episode tells you what kind of story you’re gonna get and it’s even sorted by genre! I love that especially cause so many similar podcasts are like three stories at once and there’s no good way to pick and choose. At 30 minutes per episode it’s super easy to listen to and the stories are almost always really good. The narrator does a great job too!

One of my favorite fiction podcasts
Fun and sometimes creep stories. Great narration

    If you want propaganda
I don’t want political propaganda pushed during my fiction. Why would you taint decent horror with this crap. I say decent because so many of the stories are just ok. I was fine with that and even supported and shared your podcast. Now it’s a hard pass.

A contender for the best horror podcast.
Creepy, No Sleep, and Knifepoint Horror. The mafia bosses of podcast horror. Thanks for all you do.

    Unnecessary element
There isn’t a single solitary story I’ve heard from your project that is enhanced by the presence of homosexuality. Not one. So you gotta figure, since less than 4% of the world’s population is such, that it’s a statement not of a literary element... but intended to make a Statement...of Tolerance- which is so so awesomely fashionable...you know...to be tolerant. The politically tinged aspect (so unnecessary btw) is just too much anymore. There are lots of other quality horror podcasts that understand why we listen. I’m glad I never donated to your cause as I’ve done with a couple of others (believe it or not Luminary was one- what was I thinking?!) and I’ll be unsubscribing. Yes, I am one of those horrible types who like stories with enough literary merit to carry the load because of talent, ones that don’t rely on “fighting against the man” or subtlety railing against traditional values to be interesting. Good luck with your changing of the world.

    Meh.....
As expected with any podcast of this sort / genre, some stories are pretty good, some are bad. But there are others that are just absolutely terrible as a horror, or for that matter, ANY type of decent story. They are a complete waste of time and not the least bit entertaining. Some, like ‘Sweet Sixteenth’ & ‘Temporal Fracture’ don’t even have a freaking plot point. Like, NONE. And then some episodes are just no stories at all. Just an entire episode wasted (which, of course, I completely skip through) with the host talking about various websites, authors, asking for stories & support, etc. If they had better stories, I would help & support them, as I have for other podcasters ..... but a lot of these stories simply aren’t worth it.

The Old Mill Lane was a rockin good time!
Laura Lantern's voice reminded me of long time radio host Elvira. Loved It! Well done TOS!

    Great Podcast !
I love this podcast and almost all the stories! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I can not stand Erika Ventura’s narration. It sounds like her mouth is dry and that she needs to take a drink!
  • Lech83
    Incredible
Hands down my favorite podcast. The writing, narration and production are all done phenomenally well. If you haven’t given it a listen you’re missing out!

    Nice show
The intro (and maybe outro) provides a good set-up, they're well told and unique. I'm constantly on the lookout for good fiction, preferably serials of at least 4 or 5 episodes but excellent short stories? Oh yeah! Night Vale is nothing compared to this. ** These other stories show true imagination at work. * because my non-fiction list is tremendous ** or anything since it's just kind of … dumb but some people will seek to compare. Beyond the Wires, now that's had good seasons, especially the first.

    Love it mostly
I really love the meat of the show , not all the readers are my favorite and there is one that I can’t stand his cadence , but other waste they are awesome stories read well. BUT the “house keeping is essentially half, or a third the episode it feels like. I’d say either make the episodes longer or find a way for less house keeping done in the podcast . It’s quite frustrating in that it breaks the middle and feel between the stories

    Always enjoyable
Consistently great storytelling. I’m always glad to see a new episode dropped because I know it’ll be a good show.

    Good Show, but
Real quality show, good editing. Unfortunately, I just couldn’t get past the lisp from the host.
  • Bloosman
    Very good
I like this podcast. It’s very well done and the stories are good. There’s only one small thing keeping me from giving this all 5 stars. I like to listen to these stories while I fall asleep, but at the end of the story the music comes in loud and wakes me back up. If it was softer, I’d enjoy it more. Otherwise, great job. Thank you.

I don’t have the money to support financially, but I love this show and it’s stories. Highly recommended for short interesting stories.

Three minute ad promotions to start..
...is mind numbing. Actual stories are great and have a Ray Bradbury vibe to it. But the ads....

    Brilliant!!!
I subscribe to a ton of different short story podcasts and this is one of the best by far! I don’t know how you do it, but the music playing along with the story touches your soul! Everything comes together to give you a sort of zen-relaxing experience with a terrifying twist! I LOVE IT! I just listened to a story narrated by Alexandra Elroy who is amazingly talented. she seamlessly changes her voice to play a young boy, his father and then back to narration. Great job all around. Thank you for taking the time to create such an enjoyable world to get lost in every week.

    My mother’s stories
These are exactly the stories my mother would love to tell. Love this podcast I fall asleep listening to them. Great job.
  • rantingismybestskil
    Not perfect, but good
This podcast is far from perfect. Some of the authors use the same descriptive words all too often, and there are a few voice actors that I don’t love... but over all this podcast is incredible. It is like a new twilight zone meets American horror story, in small little stories. Keep up the nice work!
  • Kuma505
    My favorite
I love the themes, the stories themselves, the length, but most of all - the voice actors and sound production. Thank y’all for the delicious nightmares.

Direct and to the point scares
These are bite-sized horror stories, perfect to fill shorter trips with the eerie, creepy stuff we love. Production, narration, hosting, and writing is very professional, personable, and consistent. Highly recommended.

    Amazing Stories
These stories get your brain going. They’re so well written and thought out. I love the twists, horror, suspense, and the way they make you think about the future. I love their narrators voices. They drawl me in with their smooth well spoken slick voices. This podcast is a gem. Seriously, never disappoints. Thank you!!!!

One of the best in the genre!!! Check it out!!!
Consistently solid, well produced stories! Definitely a tier above the typical creepy pasta fare. The bite sized tales are perfect for podcast snacking and binging alike. This will have a spot in your rotation long after many others have come and gone. Great job, keep up the good work!!!

Outstanding podcast featuring short story horror
The episodes of this podcast are a joy to listen to. They feature fresh, creative horror short stories with brilliant narration and professional-level audio production. The host brings hilarious, irreverent remarks to the opening and closing of each episode, and to the occasional one that provides only a brief update about the podcast’s goings on. If you enjoy a frequent dose of short story horror and irreverent humor, definitely try this podcast.

    Great pod!
High production value and a professional execution . Stories themselves are a bit of a hit or miss but still great overall.
  • Nastiness123
Thank you for the amazing podcast
I started listening to this podcast on a whim, simply looking for some fictional stories to listen to while working on a computer for 6 hours everyday. TOS was one of the top results so I thought, “what the hell?” I started with some of the latest episodes, and now I’m hooked. Enthralled, I’ve been working from the very first episode, forward and I have yet to be disappointed. Every episode is marvelous, with amazing writing, narrating, and sound effects! That being said I’d like to thank all of the amazing writers, producers, narrators, soundtrackers(?), and everyone else who helps to put together this podcast. I’m glad I still have a lot of episodes to listen to, but it will be a sad day when I’m all caught up. Thank you all so much again. Y’all are amazing! Wish I could give 6 out of 5 stars :( Mike B.
  • QuietStanley
    Every episode a masterpiece.
I subscribe to probably an inordinate number of horror podcasts and this one is by far the best. Others invariably seem to be made up of stories that sound to be written by elementary schoolers with an occasional well written gem popping in (probably all taken from Reddit.) This production is all gems! Whether you enjoy the plot or not, every story is very well written and produced.

    LOVE it
I really like the narrators in this podcast. I also really like how the theme switches every month basically, its really cool to get a variety, but also cool to get a few stories in a row all revolving around the same basic idea. Love listening to it at work.
