Thanks to Madd Mike, I haven’t been able to sit through a whole episode of ANY other scary story podcast, because none compare to this man’s voice. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten goosebumps listening to these! My favorite would have to be “someone else is living my life,” or the “new Target” one! But they are all SO good. I love binging them in the car or while I’m grooming at work. Keep it up, Mike! YOU DA BEST.

First the guys voice is awesome 👏 it makes the whole story more interesting and creepy and he gets the best stories my fav one is probably mr Jim but there is so many others I seriously LOVE please make more podcasts sooon

To episode 131 a story about Santa Clarita toward Palmdale. I’m in Newhall(Santa Clarita) as I type. I live in Palmdale. I can’t tell you how many stories I have about these canyon roads. 2 years of commuting so many different canyon roads. I believe the story teller 100%

I love how scary it is and how it gives me chills and has me looking over my shoulder every 5 seconds it is just a good podcast whatsoever highly recommend it

Despondently brilliant and awesomely narrated. I don’t know what _____ & uptights are trashing you but the emotional heaviness and fear you put into everything is awesome, someone experiencing the story without overacting. I gave another, pompously, droningly catty horror podcast a try and coming to this is like splashing into an oasis. Your voice goes well through everything in a lively way compared to the other narrator just getting cattier in the good parts. No need to change. If some of the things someone sniped about are your upbringing, be proud. You sound talented and dedicated to me.

The monotone drop at the end of every sentence just like YouTubers is absolutely unbearable. Was really hoping to find a podcast more like THEORIES OF THE THIRD KIND and this is NOT it

First of all, who ever read the 2nd & 4th story in #79 - PLEASE NEVER LET HIM READ AGAIN!!!! He was HORRIBLE!!! It was hard to understand what he was even saying - & it had nothing to do with him being British - it was the cadence that he read it with. It was like a terrible off-key tune. Or like nails scratching on a chalkboard. I canNOT stress enough how very HORRIBLE HE WAS!!! Also, maybe it’s just me, but ….. Michael ….. I think that if you are going to be a podcaster, you should learn how to speak / read properly. There are SO MANY grammatical errors throughout, that I cannot list them all. {There are several in just about EVERY story.} But … here are a few that are truly annoying: Mispronouncing of words {paste-ure instead of pasture, celine instead of saline, defer instead of differ, ana-moored instead of enamored, etc - in the 1st story of se6 ep 2, you somehow read ‘cackling hAels’ instead of what the author wrote, which was ‘clacking high heels’ - NO IDEA what happened there.🤦} / Putting extra es/ed sounds at the end of plural / past tense words, ie: lists-es, guests-es, liked-ed, told-ed, etc. {For goodness’ sake - GUESTSES IS NOT! A!! WORD, SWEETIE!!!!!} / Re-reading the same line twice, & not even realizing it {or skipping words or a line entirely} / Your reading cadence is off - for example, you pause in weird places. Lol it almost sounds like Captain Kirk talked on Star Trek sometimes. I'm sorry, & I'm not trying to be mean, but if you are an adult, & if English is your first language, then you should know better than to still speak this way - ESPECIALLY if you are going to do it publicly. Honestly, it's not hard to speak properly. It is embarrassing to us & you know exactly what I mean. Most of the stories are interesting & some are even scary; but the grammatical errors & mispronunciations ruin it sometimes. ps ~ I can’t even consider contributing to your Patreon until you read without the mispronunciations & grammatical mistakes & I’m probably not the only one.

I always loved listening to this podcast and before that when he was on YouTube but now that it’s getting lefty political about drag shows with a clearly fake story, I’ll just find another podcast to this one to listen to.

I always LOVED this podcast and couldn’t wait to listen. Lately it’s been so inconsistent. One or 2 a month! Makes me want to delete it from my subscribed podcasts. If u take time off great just let your listeners know. Then when new content came out it was entirely different than the last stuff released. Much shorter episodes with stories that made no sense and no real ending. Idk where these stories come from but I’d suggest going back to what you put out a couple years ago. It always made me excited to listen to the next episode. Now I skip over it and if can’t find anything else to listen to or only have a 10-15 min drive I’ll turn it on, but honestly most times I end up turning it off. Truly disappointed

I’ve been a listener since this was on YouTube. All the episodes are awesome, and narrated great! The production is always good too, he puts a lot of effort into this podcast. Even the collaborations are good too! I listen to this on road trips, while at work, and when I’m cooking or cleaning. It’s a great listen every time. Especially the Disńey content!!

The stories are so scary and creepy! Exactly, what I’ve been looking for ❤️ I’ve tried a few podcast that are “scary” but weren’t at all like bodychills such a waste of time, now this one is amazing!!!

This is an amazing podcast dude does great voice acting on his own. Only problem I have is he overlaps a lot of story’s with another podcast I listen to with much higher production quality and sounds like higher budget. While I don’t have a problem with the lower budget on this podcast I love the stories. But for the episodes you overlap with the other podcast I usually listen to them on the other podcast just because they do it quite better. So I end up not listening to a bunch of your episodes because to be honest you guys share a LOT of episodes. So it would be awesome if maybe you started getting stories elsewhere so I’m able to fully support you and listen to more episodes.

One of my favorite podcasts to listen to. Recently found it so I started listening to it beginning to end. Kinda funny how he had a country accent at the beginning of the show and now doesn’t in the more recent episodios🤣

Mike you are very talented. I am a normal 38 year old father, I don’t listen to many podcasts I am not social media or YouTube. I like sports, etc. My point is I really enjoy listening to your podcast, it’s the best I’ve found, and I hope you don’t stop doing it. You have a great voice, and you tell a great story.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for at least 6 years or so, and I’ve never had a chance to write a review or let Mike know how much I LOVE this podcast! I’m usually a scaredy cat when it comes to horror, so I listen to it during the day! Lol! I love Mike’s calming yet spooky way of telling these stories. I love the little details in the background like, the unsettling music, voices, and creepy sounds! Please keep up the amazing work!

When I was a kid, I would imagine scary stuff in bed and just hide under the sheets. I missed those days, now I’m doing it again because of this podcast. It feels so great to be scared again

Since I’m all caught up on all of my other horror pods etc. I’ve been trying to find new pods. This narrator has horrific pronunciation. Cello, pronounced SELL-O … I’ve skipped through years of the show hoping it who’d get better. It didn’t. It would be different if it was an occasional mistake but it multiple mistakes per episode and not all of them are “subTell” (SUBTLE). You can hear these same stories told correctly on other pods.

I really really love your story’s I always listen to them and color while I draw and stuff
