The best podcast re: food, business, and women!
I LOVE this podcast. It’s not just about food—it’s about an entire ecosystem with women, food

    A favorite podcast!
One of the few shows where I am into nearly every episode! Kerry let’s her guests shine, asks good questions and chooses a wide variety of guests in the food world — not just the folks on every podcast/magazine/TV show. Love the mission and values behind Kerry & Cherry Bombe, good people! I also love Kerry’s voice & cadence. Keep it up!!

    Who is this podcast for?
I want to like this podcast because I love food. The Ghia founder episode was really great…but now as I listen I just feel like all the women are elitists. The Molly Baz episode was extremely disappointing and it’s just continued to disappoint. I’d give it a solid zero stars.

    It’s a favorite
I discovered this podcast about six months ago and I am hooked. I look forward to each weekly episode. I have been binge listening to previously released episodes and enjoying every one. I am amazed by the journey these women have taken, to get to where they are now in the food industry. Kerry Diamond has such a soothing presence about her. I was so fortunate to meet Kerry at The Future Of Food Is You event in Philadelphia, a couple of weeks ago. I got to speak to her, she was so warm and charming. It made my night. I am looking forward to attending other RCB events in the future. In the meantime, I will keep on listening.

    Stanley Tucci
Sadly, you invited Stanley Tucci on as a guest but Missy talked over him and monopolized most the conversation. Ever the gentleman, he politely listened. But, as a listener, I wanted to hear more from Stanley and was disappointed. The listener could tell that he was frustrated too.

    Learn something with every episode
I only discovered this podcast in July, and I immediately went to the beginning and started listening to every single episode - I’ve just reached 2015. I am a farmstead cheesemaker in Maine and listening to these shows while I’m elbow deep in curds, I keep having to wash off my hands and take notes on resources that are mentioned, books that are recommended, or write down names of companies whose current story I want to follow up with. It’s like attending an intense business course, but while still being able to do my own work. Running a business in a rural state presents unique challenges and hearing such a breadth of experiences from both rural and urban business owners if helping me see beyond daily frustrations. And I’m so ready to be asked questions.

    Girl Power and Personal Touches
Radio Cherry Bombe always leaves me inspired by smart women. The positive energy and great guests keep me listening for more. I'm a super fan and especially love the speed round. Thank you also to Donna in the sales dept. for the magazine order help and great customer service. After seeing the back issues were available at the 3rd Jubilee (thank you Instagram post) my order was over a week late. Donna, a real person, wrote me a note saying if it didn't arrive she'd send out a new copy and any issue of my choice. The next day my original copy came. I thanked her, she asked what copy I would like as a compliment and boom Issue 4 was in my mailbox two days later. That personal touch made this hospitality professional beyond pleased. Y'all are the cherries on top of great content and personal service. Cheers to you. 🍒🍒🍒

Love Cherry Bombe! Disappointed by Meta Eva Chen
I love Cherry Bombe and am usually so impressed by the guests and compelling interviews. Very lame to interview Eva Chen, who has been complicit to Instagram/FB/Meta poisoning our teen girls among other malices. LEAVE Mark Z., Eva! Working for Meta is tres uncool and not fashion.

    A tasty treat
Radio Cherry Bombe was new to me last year (2020). Since I started listening, I look forward to each episode. Some reviews criticize the interviews for not being sort of hard-hitting journalism, but to me, they seem to be much more conversational. Which I like and appreciate. The best thing for me is being introduced to new books and ideas. I have purchased at least 4 cookbooks I heard about here (and as a librarian, I seldom purchase books for myself). Each has been a treat and as I read and coin from them, I can hear the author’s own voice from the interview. Highly recommended.

Kerry Diamond is the Terry Gross of food!
I absolutely adore listening to Kerry. She has such a soothing presence about her that seems to put her guests at ease. This lets the guests truly shine! Kerry is brilliant but humble. Love the podcast!

    Love this inspiring food podcast
When I need to relax and feel good, I put on Radio Cherry Bombe. Between Kerry’s soothing alto and thoughtful questions, inspiring guests, and eye-opening convos about all things food, I walk away feeling girl power and an urge to get in the kitchen. Plus it’s not just food fluff. I appreciate how the interviews get into the nuts and bolts of different aspects of the food industry and shows how empowered women are growing businesses/platforms that rethink the status quo. And when Kerry tells us to hang in there and that we’re the bomb...I really feel that!!

    SO inspiring!
This podcast has saved me on so many occasions. Kerry asks such insightful questions and is so genuine in her approach to each interview. I look forward to each episode, and even though I am not in the food industry—it never fails to touch my heart with a sense of true belonging. Thank you for all that you do! Love love love it!

    Wow. Rachel
What a great episode in a ongoing great podcast. Love the vision of Rachael’s mother on a milk crate.

    Good
I only listened to 2.5 eps. I know everyone has to create a brand but for some reason all the “bombe” talk seemed like overkill. I am female and it also seemed too female (or stereotypical over the top female). I think the idea is wonderful. It just wasn’t for me.
  • Katherine.mw
    Favorite podcast!
This show never fails to inspire me! I love the mix of practical career advice and broader conversations about the politics of food.
  • jamsklit
    Hmmm
While I almost always adore the podcast, I often find Kerry generalizing and stereotyping Americans compleeeetely from her New York perspective. And it’s just annoying. Listening today was a great example— “Americans are finally starting to appreciate rhubarb.” HA! What? Rhubarb has been a staple ingredient for generations for an entire third of the country (just chop off each coast line). It would be much more enjoyable to listen to is she didn’t perpetually assume so much about her entire (large and very varied) homeland.

Four stars to one star: A leftist pro-abortion propaganda podcast
It’s a sad day for me as a podcast-loving foodie and home cook- the very podcast that got me into podcasts and took me to the next level in my journey to become a domestic goddess has posted a podcast today celebrating Planned Parenthood and abortion. Despite their vehemently and insultingly anti-conservative post-election podcast I found from 2016, I decided to keep listening because their content is so awesome. My mom bought me their cookbook for my birthday last summer and it changed my culinary life. I can’t tell you how many of their episodes have inspired me to take my food obsession to the next level. I’m sad to have to say that today I will be unsubscribing and not listening to their podcast anymore. They have turned an amazing platform for female home cooks, foodies, and chefs into a political propaganda podcast. Until they have a female pro-life women who cook episode to balance their platform, I will never be listening to them again. Abortion does not belong in my kitchen. It sounds like the only thing y’all support women baking in their oven is cookies; not babies. A reminder to ladies of New York City: Planned Parenthood does NOT speak on behalf of all women. How many women have their services killed before they had the chance to be born? How many future Julia Childs have been aborted since your services started? Bon voyage, bombe squad. It’s too bad that conservative women will never be welcome in your #bombesquad 👎🏻

    Mental Soul Food
This podcast is incredibly inspirational, funny, warm, and informational. My only frustration with it is that interviews very (very!) frequently end just as they are getting into the actual nitty gritty info and the actual how-to. Breaks my heart a little. Also, the oldest Jubilee episodes have broken audio and it's still not fixed so that's a bummer. That said, Julia is a masterful interviewer who approaches the job with such purity, simplicity, nuance, charm and grace and the guests range from absolutely epic to I'm-so-glad-I-heard-of-this-person-now!

    Good not great
I love the mission of Cherry Bombe and the guests on the show are exceptional. I wish Kerry was more assertive in her interviews. It often feels more like she’s fangirling instead of asking the hard questions. The interviewees are amazing and listeners will understand that from hearing their responses rather than from the host constantly gushing about them. I’m also confused why the mistakes aren’t edited out of the podcast. Is it necessary to hear an ad twice because it was misread the first time? I have so much faith in this podcast and think that it could become really great if it continues to improve.

    Wonderful
Great content and wonderful interviews. It’s like they know the questions I have an answer them! Thank you for a great show!

Hanging out in Brooklyn with female foodie friends.
Fun and hip but thoughtful and reverent when it should be, RCB is like your best friend in a podcast. Kerry Diamond is charming and well informed and draws the best from her guests.

    An Irresistible Podcast
Once you get a taste of the Cherry Bombe podcast, you'll be compelled to listen to it all the time. I swear. I discovered Cherry Bombe when I saw their cookbook event listed on the Harvard Bookstore website, featuring one of my favorite local chefs, Joanne Chang. I have learned so much from this podcast, and it keeps me constantly engaged and curious about the accomplished women featured in each show. Kerry is just as charismatic in person as she is via audio, and this is hands down my favorite podcast. Thank you Kerry and Claudia for creating such an amazing platform!

This is one of the best podcasts ever! Been a fan and listen faithfully since 2015!

If you like food, you'll like this
I love RCB for a few reasons. First and foremost, the food talk from interesting women (and some men). I learn so much in almost every episode. Second, Kerry Diamond is a warm, enthusiastic interviewer and really supportive of her guests' topics, whether it's a new cookbook or a coconut milk yogurt or an online market. It's a great way to keep up on food news.

    So Addictive
I discovered Radio Cherry Bombe about two months ago, and I have been binge-listening through the archives while waiting for the weekly episodes to launch. The interviews are always entertaining, informative, and insightful. They host an impressive variety of guests, yet they always keep the conversation relatable for listeners of all beliefs and backgrounds. I have gained a lot of motivation from the conversations for my own work in the food world, but I also just find it fun (you can't NOT dance to the theme music or get excited during the speed round). I now have a reason to look forward to Thursdays! Please keep the amazing content coming!
