With his wisdom & guidance, I finally got clarity, and I am now getting qualified. I’ve also been able to have the clarity & courage to quit a hated day job where I felt stuck. Ken’s show then helped me anchor myself to become an effective smart communicator. Since then, I’ve found this show to be a continual kick in the butt to help keep me from straying off track. Ken is so good at breaking down big ideas into clear, manageable steps. I am a new listener, but I am enjoying the show so much!

If you’re going to go on a rant about the blue collar revolution, perhaps don’t confuse welding and plumbing. And perhaps don’t suggest everyone is making $300,000 as plumbers and HVAC workers. There are certainly solid, rewarding careers to be had. However, the average salaries are closer to $60-70k a year. It’s a solid career, not a get rich quick scheme like Ken pretends.

I’ve been working through a recent firing and trying to figure out where to go next. The KC Show has been solid for me. I’ve been binging it, Smart Money Happy Hour and The Dave Ramsey Show while driving for DoorDash, and all of them have helped me gain a healthier perspective of my life, my situation, and my relationships. Solid Team, solid advice.

If you are feeling that you are in a rut in your job, listen to Ken. Not only will he tell you how to get out of it, but he will make you feel loved.All places of business need a Ken. He should be part of the “human” department. Please add that department to every job that I’ve ever worked in !

Ken knows his stuff! I agree with 98& of what he says, On the other 2% I disagree with, at least he gets me thinking and challenges my beliefs. Keep up the great work Ken!

I want to be VERY clear: some of the things Ken says are worth knowing for all people. Those things alone are worth 2 of the 5 stars. He has this really weird tendency to politicize some career stuff. Lots of weird drops of the calling card only used by 1 political isle. Particularly, insulting the intelligence of Party members without justification and also calling people that have a righteous reaction to an issue “woke” over and over? This was far from the first time I’ve noticed that. I tried to just justify “well that’s just his spin on it” but thinking about it, if that’s leaking into the content in an obvious manner there, it might be subtly leaking into other portions of content. “Nothing is non-political” and etc. Also lots of “you young people” talk so if you’re older and somewhat vindictive against younger generations you’ll feel at home. For me it just rubs me the wrong way. There are free career tests that do what Ken does just as good if not better. There are podcasts and people worth listening to for this niche specifically that fit a lot better than this dude. Look elsewhere if possible.

Helped me think clearly about my career path. This helped give me peace in my career choices. It will help you if you do the work to follow these step by steps plans.

I work from home and I look forward to Ken’s Podcast each time!

I listen to this show almost every day. It really had changed my career perspective for good. Great tips and motivational for career and personal growth.

Too much about opinion and too little about facts. Also, the host fails to do basic math on the fly. A callers mentioned he may get 66% short-term disability, and then the hosts says let’s figure out how you can get the remaining 44%. He lost me right there.

I enjoy this great discussion by Ken but my gosh the outro voice is just slitheringly unwelcome and disturbing. Please change.

You heard it here folks. Great advice, great personality, great passion. He really takes pride in his work, which is helping others find out what they are best at, and how to get there. Really, more income more impact; more money more meaning! He also is just compassionate, helpful, and entertaining. Really inspires me to perform at my job personally (also I always love the dad jokes and how his kids always call him “cringy” and he just leans into it).

I definitely would recommend listening to Mr. Coleman. His enthusiasm is motivating he gives good advice.

Ken is an individual with no real world experience, telling others what they need to do to succeed.

A career coach that rails against work from home? I’ll listen to someone who understands and wants to work in the current environment and not some who refuses to acknowledge the world is changing.

Hear me out: I’m not saying he’s old but I am saying he’s like an older, wiser gazelle who has outwitted every lion coming his way. The guy doesn’t have a degree and he ACTIVELY goes against the grain to encourage other people to stop chasing pieces of paper because they DO NOT guarantee success. I have a degree and I see nothing wrong with getting degrees if you NEED them. But, I still appreciate the sage advice on how to find a career that fires me up, challenges me, and helps me take care of my family and my future.

Ken is top notch, period! I listen daily and Ken is so inspirational and motivating. His talks alway make in impact on my day to day. Live fully and a life you love is always great to hear. Ken is observably the weakest “personality” of the bunch from the ramsey show and it’s showcased on full display when on his own. Where’s the advice and why should I trust it? Ken has no concrete credentials supporting him being an expert… on anything career wise. He’s never done any HR work or coaching of high powered CEOs, been an actual CEO or lead a company in any way. His resume and previous work experience before Ramsey has been kept secretive for this very reason. He’s a heavy conservative that gives basic “feeling in my gut” type of career answers such as… you should get a job you love with people you like making tons of money. Also, he’s a rude Ramsey show cohost interjecting with repeating or contradicting advice. He’s a puzzling move for the Ramsey team for sure as he’s observably bad at his job.

I’ve listened to a few podcasts by Ken, and I believe that what he’s saying speaks to me personally. His podcasts allowed me to see a major personal fault that has been hurting me my whole life! I’m working on it. God blessed him. Bless God for Ken sharing the wisdom with us. Every episode is filled so full of information and encouragement.
