I don’t now most of what they are saying but I’m good at español I’m 1place on the leaderboard and unit 4 gold league but I loved this podcast

Duolingo did such a stellar job at ruining this podcast. I give them 5 stars for promoting their woke political agenda, Mao would be proud. In terms of actually learning Spanish, well that has been pushed to the back burner.

Went back to first season and finding the shorter stories use simpler Spanish and are read slower. Suits my level of comprehension. Thanks Duolingo!

These stories are fascinating glimpses into Latin American life and culture. They’re the sort of stories I want to share with others because they’re so interesting. I was unaware of learning so much Spanish because I just want to keep listening! Love the slightly slower talking pace so I never miss a word.

I have no idea what’s being said in Spanish a part from some basic words that I’m newly learning but I just started the story about the sunk ship and it’s interesting. Basically listening to the English context but still good lol

I enjoyed the serialized version of the podcast! Cherry on top was the Chilean history& accent, which I find can sometimes be overlooked when people think of Spanish speaking contries. Argentinian accent would be another cool one to explore! Keep up the great work! Hope this pod continues on this track and perhaps an Italian version in the future …? Thank you ☺️☺️

Wonderful concept with clear conversations that those with limited Spanish can follow and understand but the woke political bent that is shoehorned in makes these stories unlistenable.

I love the stories and story telling in this podcast, so real inspiration and heart warming goodness! I only wish there was MORE!

I am up to listening to about 45 of the podcasts and have, for the most part, really enjoyed them. However, I have noticed, unfortunately, some with a certain political bent are starting to crop up which take away from the enjoyment. We receive enough of this from certain, so called, news outlets and Hollywood. Please spare us here.

Hi, I love the idea of podcasts on so many levels, and it’s wonderful Duolingo has them but, please keep politics out of it and let people be free people on the platform to learn languages and have fun doing it and not have political propaganda ruining it.

I have started listening to your podcasts more frequently lately and have found them very inspiring and interesting. All the stories have been easy to understand and they have brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing all these wonderful stories.

I have been useing Duolingo and this is the first time listening to this

I’ve listened to every podcast at least once , some twice. They are really enjoyable and I’m picking up more Spanish every time I listen. I’m also learning about things that have happened in other countries that I had no knowledge off. It’s a win win for me.

What can I say, I have listened to many of these podcasts in Spanish and in French and every time I am amazed at the quality and the content and the presentation. Hope they keep producing them for a long time to come.

I truly love listening to Duolingo! The stories are so fascinating and even if you don’t understand every word you can still come away feeling entertained and having learned something. Personally, it’s a great way to practice and brush up on my Spanish language skills so I don’t get too rusty! I love the episodes and wish there were more and more...

I love how these stories are told, but more over I’m constantly blown away at the stories that are told. So many stories are about overcoming the odds all while sharing culture and traditions all around Latin America. Thank you!

It is a very good podcast. I love listening to it. The only thing that I don’t like it that the story is a little bit above my learning of Spanish but it still is great!

I love to listen to the Duolingo Spanish podcast stories. It is a great way to improve my Spanish language skills and learn new words. The stories are really interesting and it is great to hear the prononciation variations from the different Spanish speaking countries. The quality of production is excellent and the content is always good and diversified. Merci à Duolingo et à Martina Castro et son équipe pour ces excellents podcasts!

I finding all of these stories interesting and informative. The Spanish is a little above where I am at but it improves my listening skills and I can pick up more and more. Wonderful learning and listening experience.❤️

I love the stories and often will do more research on the individual. As podcasts progress and If at all possible can less English be used? Overall these are a great addition to the Duolingo language learning offering. The blend of intermediate Spanish and English context allows intermediate learners to keep up and learn as well as polish their listening and comprehension skills. They are interesting and well delivered. I do, however, have one caveat. The subject matter does not appear to be politically neutral. There is a strong progressive, left wing tone to many of the subjects and their treatment. If this were a podcast with an explicit intent to discuss those issues and to let listeners know in advance that was the aim, then that would be fine. But instead they are meant to be simply educational and focused on learning language, albeit with cultural context. I believe that this places a greater responsibility to ensure a degree of neutrality and to not represent a particular view without exposure to multiple perspectives. It feels too much like sneaking a particular political perspective in under the radar as opposed to allowing real debate of issues. The language learning is good nevertheless.

Not only has this helped me with my listening but I love the stories. Learning about many Latino cultures on top of learning this wonderful language has been a big eye opener for me. I highly recommend!

I’m excited to have just happened upon Duolingo’s Spanish podcasts! I had decided to delete the Duolingo app, when it no longer served my purpose as my progress in Spanish began to surpass the elementary exercises the app had to offer. I felt confined in my practice. Moments ago, I discovered Duolingo’s podcasts on YouTube and have just enjoyed a couple in quick succession; the Argentinian football player and his Mexican fan-friend, and Jaime the artist. True, touching, well articulated and presented stories. So I’ve downloaded all your podcasts and I’ve subscribed. ¡Bienvenido de nuevo, Duolingo!

This is very great learning app. It really complements the app Duolingo. I have been learning Spanish and now I am really good at it.

Duolingo is awesome. I enjoy everything about it. Duolingo podcasts, Duolingo stories, Tiny cards, Duolingo is fun, easy and the best for learning an other language

I have found the podcasts to be great for additional comprehension practice. I use the transcript as an aid as well and it helps a lot to read along with the speaker. I’ve even forwarded a couple of them to my Mexican friends and they equally enjoyed them. My only complaint is that when I open the podcast from the website so I can follow along with the transcript it does not sync with the podcast list in Apple. In other words some of the podcasts are showing as not played whereas I’ve enjoyed listening to the episode already. A minor issue but one that should be fixed.
