    Goblin On This Podcast
This might be the first and perhaps last podcast I’ve ever listened to every episode multiple times, with me ending the two seasons with a smile and tears in my eyes. What a life-changing show. This show has made me change my mood sometimes, not to mention my outlook on comedy and writing after finishing the first season. Freddie, Beth, Matt, Will, and Anthony are great actors, writers, and storytelling geniuses. Just horrible DM’s. But aren’t we all?

    Amazing!!
Season one is my favorite season because the stakes are higher and they have children which makes the story so much more interesting. Season two is okay but I dislike how old characters have been such a huge part of the story but it isn’t that bad because they have different personalities. I do like the new mechanics in season two as well. I wish that more original aspects of DND were kept but still a 100/10😂.I don’t know what people are talking about when they say Freddy is unfunny because both Glenn and Taylor are in my top three favorite characters ( My favorite is Ron)

    Pure gold
I don’t care what other people say. The second season is good in its own way and shouldn’t be compared to the first. This is some of the funniest people that I’ve listened to on Podcasts and can’t get enough.

When do we get a fully animated series?!?
Seriously! I first heard the podcast with a bunch of my Airmen during a TDY… the military is filled with people that love this podcast. Anthony Burch is a writer filled with passion and talent! In a world that is so polarized, this show, his writing can make anyone laugh, cry, or smile when they need it! The cast that supports the show is the icing on the cake. Beth, Matt, Will, and Freddy are incredible. Thank you all.

Intros are awesome and so is the show
Episode 60. I was listening to this while trying to do some work (my mistake) and I found myself had written nip instead of god on the thing I was working on. I love the show and I hope it goes on for a long time. 6 out of 5 show. Listened to this while my sibling lost their first tooth

    Listen
No actual play DND podcast is for everyone … except Dungeons and Daddies. I listen to a lot of DND podcasts, but this one reminded me immediately of how I felt when I was a kid FINALLY getting to sit at the table with my older brothers and their friends to play my first DND character. It feels like sitting at the table with your five funniest friends and sometimes Jimmy. The cast has chemistry and Anthony’s DM style and dry humor adds an edge that some comedy life play podcasts never hone. Absolutely legendary.

    So much fun!!!
I absolutely loved the story, energy, dad jokes, hilarious NPCs and the natural chemistry you had with each other. Maxton wrote a banger for the podcast and it lifts me up every time I hear it. Much love and thanks to the players, crew and patrons that helped make all of it happen.

I smile when I see a new episode pop up
These days there isn’t really a lot that has been bringing me pure joy but I love listening to these folks. I’ve listened to every episode and I love their approach to the podcast and D&D world. Anthony does a fabulous job with the story and as a DM. I’m an artist (painter) and this show has been my friend while I paint and I’m so grateful for that. These folks are creative and silly and they have been making my day brighter for a few years now. Thanks daddies for making life funnier and for the burst of serotonin that happens when I see there is a new episode. I appreciate you sharing your creativity with us and the bravery, vulnerability and heart that takes.

    Amazing
I’ve listen to every episode and really enjoyed the ride. The characters were hilarious no matter the season and the story from the DM always had me wanting more and enjoying. Thanks for the great story everyone, cant wait for more.
  • Hi im a idoit
    Great podcast
This show Is hilarious it had me wheezing 10 minutes in the first episodes. Keep listening PLEASE trust me it’s worth it. Update: I love the first season with all my soul but the second was not even close. Still a fun listen and I eagerly waited for the end of it for good and bad reasons, the good being I wanted to see how it played out, the bad being I wanted it to end so there could be a new better next season. The writing just sorta faded and the imagery (which I know Anthony struggles with) also downgraded. I’m really looking forward the season three and I hope it surpasses it predecessor. Love u guys, but don’t disappoint me. (Also I miss Video Game High School so bad.)

    Good..?
I love this show, especially the first season and there aren’t enough praises I can sing for the first season. But there is one small problem… the second season. Season two feels like it’s trying to use the first season’s material and build off of it in a way that feels sporadic and disorganized. I get a vibe from the second season as if it does not measure up to the first season. The first season made me fall in love with this show, listening to it late into the night was a tradition for months while catching up on season 1. But as season two is coming to a close as I am writing this, I cannot help but wonder if it will continue this trend of a downward spiral. I love this show a lot, but the next season makes me anxious, I don't know what is going to happen. But in light of this I have found something, and that is the second season’s quality. As much as it falls off from the first season, it is still an amazing plot with good characters. I would love to see Anthony make something with the third season that switches the plot up. But I fear more that more than any other thing that the current storyline might be cut off after the second season. I don't know what the dark depths of Anthony’s mind holds, but I really like this podcast, it just needs a banger third season.

    What D&D should be
I love Dungeons and D.A.D.D.I.E.S. Anthony is a great DM and deserves to be held in the same circles as Iyengar, Mulligan, and Mercer. Does he drive me nuts with the rules sometimes…yes. HOWEVER, he also reminds me that a DMs primary job is to HAVE FUN! Love him for that. Can’t wait for season 3 baby!!!
  • OhPeaches
    My favorite podcast!!
Season 1 is nearly perfect!! I think Season 2 started out strong and it really sticks the landing, but the middle devolved into everyone talking over each other and not respecting the world building. Hope they get the balance right for Season 3 :)

    The best podcast!
I’ve been listening since your podcast started and always love when your next new episode drops. The fun, fantasy and laughter between yourselves and your characters make you an absolute joy to listen to. I’m sad this arc is completed but the ending was so satisfying. Please keep up the amazing work!!

I used to love this show
This used to be my favorite DnD podcast. Not sure if they just gave up trying to reign in the story for this season, but when the best running joke is just about pee, and it’s still not funny, you all really need to reconsider your comedic prowess. 🤦‍♂️ Honestly you should just do an unapologetic reboot of season 2. None of that happened and it was all a dream (kinda funny at this point in itself) then bring back the dads and try to recapture the magic homies! Maybe even have two campaigns or just some filler shows so you can take time to write!

    A joyful tale
Eagerly anticipating season 3. And someone remind those guys to update their character sheets!
  • W0nSh0t
Season 1 was great, then downhill
Season 1 was fun to listen to, with everyone’s fav Ron. Then in season 2 they became so preoccupied with wokeness and forgot the role play that it just became political trash 😞

    Amazing!!
Dungeons & Daddies has been my go to after a long day (or during the day) and has helped me tremendously when I’ve been going through hard times. So thank you Dungeons and Daddies for just existing and being awesome!!

    An emotional roller coaster
This podcast is hilarious! After playing my first campaign a few years ago, I immediately wanted to know more about the game DND and this world! I also wanted to learn how to become a dungeon master myself. A few of my friends had told me to check out this podcast called, “Dungeons and Daddies” and it has taken me on an emotional roller coaster right from the start. And it can take you on one if you are willing. This podcast has brought me tears of laughter as I drive to and from work brought by the funniest bunch of players (shout out to Freddie Wong, Matt Arnold, Will Campos, Beth May and the Dungeon Master aka Dungeon Daddy, Anthony Burch). I honestly don’t know if have laughed this hard listening to a group of adults playing a board game! I have also really gotten to enjoy learning/listening to how to roll play/improve as a DM while listening to Anthony Burch. I’m not sure if I can ever be as good of a dungeon master myself but if you ever curious about to lead a campaign or just play DND, this is a podcast for you! Thank you guys for doing what you do! Keep rolling dice! 🤘🏽

A quick laugh for a long time!
This podcast is genuinely great! I love the DnD campaign concept of 4 dads trying their best to find their kids in an unknown fantasy world with a ton of genuinely funny adult humor, and NOT the “family guy” kind, no its well timed jokes, references, and bits which honestly made me love this campaign and I’m only at episode 10 right now

    Laugh out loud
I was recommended this podcast last year and have been LOVING it ever since. It’s so hilarious, I find myself cracking up with my headphones on. The characters are so wacky and lovable and I love all the players (shoutout to Beth!). Both seasons are great, and I love the continuation of the story and the complex story lines!! One of my favorite podcasts of all time!

great podcast to listen to & learn dnd
I have suggested this podcast to my friends who want to learn how to “better” play & bounce off each others characters. They are all funny & witty & enjoyable.

Amazing. I can’t even find the words.
This podcast has genuinely changed my life and has been my lifeline for years. I wish that I had a friend group like this but being autistic 19 year old and unable to make friends easily, I find comfort in knowing I can always come home and listen to how happy they are while I draw world with endless possibilities. Each and everyone of these amazing people have made me feel like I’m a person again. I can’t really explain it but this podcast has brought me so much joy even in my lowest moments. Even now as I’m sleeping in my car, freshly kicked out of my parents house, I listen to this podcast and it doesn’t seem like I’m facing my problems alone. It feels like I’ll always have my safety net. This may be silly but I just wanted to say this because I’m sure they don’t realize how much good they are bringing to the world. I love this podcast and I wish all of them the best. #youcannotescapethehenrydarrelgayarc:)

    This is WONDERFUL
This podcast has great quality, although in my opinion, the first season is way better than the second. I started listening while in the US for the third time (I am American), so this podcast makes for good memories of my family partially starting to believe I am either insane, or suffer of skizzofrenia or however that’s spelled, because I was randomly laughing, and it’s just a great listen. For people who have listend through this wonderful D&D podcast and can’t wait for further episodes like me, you should try the adventure zone. Keep up the good work! Please don’t convert to the dark side of BDSM!

Catching lightning in a bottle twice
Seriously contemplating if I want to relisten to season 1. So good, had so many laughs and great memories binging that bad boy. Season 2 is… fine at best. I think it takes a lot of creative courage to try something new from what made you popular, like the four dads. But I really struggled with this new party. There are still some really solid moments, like goof realm and the staircase episode, and I like some of the new mechanics introduced (vending machine at DADDIES, new Daddy magic). However, I think it’s a bit of a depressing season comparatively, and I was honestly disappointed that they had to bring in old party members back in just to make it interesting. I liked the first season because it felt like more of an adventure with high, personal stakes. I see that they wanted to make the stakes different this time around, but honestly it’s more depressing. Kinda like finding out your childhood hero was bad person, that’s the vibe I get from it. That might be for you, but it’s not my favorite. I’ll for sure finish this season just because of how great season 1 was, just waiting for it to finish before I binge

    Dadicated Podcasters
Sorry, just had to do a dad pun. This is among my top 3 favorite podcasts (next to TAZ and MFM). But honestly, I found this podcast by happenstance and it was during a time when I was still grieving the loss of my dad to cancer. This podcast has made me laugh, and smile, and accept the awkward silence my dad displayed throughout my entire life. I miss him. But I am so happy to have my adopted daddies. And very excited to get to know the daddies’ progeny.

Everyone I’ve shown this podcast LOVES it! I frequently take road trips to and from my university to my home town, and it keeps me entertained for multiple hours at a time! Wow
I have never been so emotionally devastated by a podcast before and I’ve also never laughed so hard at a podcast before. I have Banned myself from eating cereal when listening to this because I’ve spit out my cereal from laughing too many times. You may think that people are over exaggerating when they say that this gets really sad and so did I but then I got to episode 61 and oh man I was not nearly emotionally prepared enough I was sobbing for like 15 minutes. Edit: finally got caught up. when I originally wrote this review I was one or two episodes away from finishing season one and season two gotta say almost just as good still incredibly funny with amazing characters and plot I even shed a few tears. my only complaint is that it seem a lot more random and incoherent then season one I mean their still following the plot but things just kinda seem happen out of nowhere that’s really out of place and kinda ruins the mood of the scene mostly in the more recent episodes tho. But overall season two is pretty good and has a more darker tone the then season one especially during the first half of it

    Funniest D&D gameplay ever
My new favorite podcast and absolute top tier gameplay. I can see everything they describe so vividly in my head and it’s hilarious the entire time. This podcast is playing constantly on my phone whether I’m driving, at the gym, or doing chores. I have to keep myself from busting out laughing in public. Solid podcast!

    This show is great!
I have never finished a dnd podcast before and this was the first one, I remember crying when Anthony and Beth went into Ron’s past. Now, I have listened to other dnd podcast like the adventure zone and dimension 20 (that’s not really a podcast) but I never finished it because I never had time for it. I love season two already and I like to imagine that I am playing with them as a kid who creates cool dead rising style weapons as an artificer. If you haven’t listen to a dnd podcast before, this is a great one to start off with for goofy people!

    Amazing people & amazing podcast
I will admit, season 2 is a little lackluster compared to season 1….but this is still one of the greatest podcasts I’ve ever listened to. I love everyone here, it’s funny, engaging, and it gave me a lot of ideas for my own campaign. If you haven’t listened yet, give it a shot. At least the first three episodes.
