If you're a wrestling fan looking for an entertaining and insightful podcast, look no further than The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast. Hosted by former WWE superstars Brian Myers and Matt Cardona (aka Zack Ryder), this show offers a unique blend of insider knowledge, personal anecdotes, and humorous banter that will keep you hooked from start to finish. One of the things I love most about this podcast is the hosts' passion for wrestling collectibles and memorabilia. Whether they're discussing their latest finds or sharing stories about their favorite toys from childhood, Myers and Cardona's enthusiasm is infectious and makes you feel like you're part of the conversation. But this podcast is much more than just a love letter to wrestling merchandise. The hosts also provide valuable insights into the industry, drawing on their years of experience as wrestlers to offer a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in the world of pro wrestling. From their interactions with fans to their relationships with other wrestlers, Myers and Cardona offer a unique perspective that you won't find anywhere else. Overall, The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast is a must-listen for anyone who loves wrestling, collectibles, or just good conversation. The hosts are funny, engaging, and knowledgeable, and they always manage to keep the show fresh and entertaining. So if you're looking for a new podcast to add to your rotation, give The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast a try - you won't be disappointed!

    Bringing families together
When I was younger, my uncle use to take me to Toys R Us every week. I had quite the wrestling figure collection at a young age with doubles of every fig (one loose and one MOC) naturally as I got older I lost interest in collecting. Ever since I got into this podcast however, my uncle and I have gotten back into our fig hunt routine! I’m so thankful for this podcast for igniting the passion for collecting again, and for bringing my uncle and I closer. Thank you Matt Brian and Mark. Proud to say I’ll be a Major Mark 4 life, and a proud member of the H.A.R.D foundation (soon to be ultimate member) 🫡

A podcast that’s truly changed my life.
I’ve been listening to this podcast from the beginning, when the pandemic hit not only was it the community that surrounds this show perfect escape. I’ve met lifelong friends, I’ve been inspired to watch more wrestling, and I’ve found a passion I didn’t even know I had. Thanks Matt, Brian, and Mark for your weekly fun and how much of an impact you’ve had on my life and so many others.

Proud to be a Major Mark
As soon as I heard the “Now Entering the Titan Tron!” part at the beginning of the first episode, I knew this podcast was for me. Collecting Wrestling Figures was something I was passionate about as kid. When I heard Matt Cardona and Brian Myers created a show dedicated to discussing the history and current trends of figures, it made it so easy to start following. As an adult collector, and as a fan of their work on screen as professional wrestlers, it was a something I fell right in with. I recommend this podcast and the supplemental material that the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast offers on Patreon! From FWF, to the Live shows, to the great community that the Major Marks have all come together for. “Smart” Mark Sterling, Brian Myers and Matt Cardona make every week fun and exciting to listen to. The video version allows you to see what figures and purchases they are talking about. Even better, you can sit in on it Live through the Ultimate tier on Patreon. There are many perks to being a fan of this show! I also recommend Major Bendies and Big Rubber Guys, the toy lines spawned from this podcast. Watching the journey from the beginning has been so awesome!

An Ode to the Major WF Podcast...
An Ode To The Major Pod There once was a Broski from L.I. In figure collecting, he was the guy He started a podcast with Brian, And now they’re both tryin’, To teach me what figures to buy News, Info, Figure of the Weak It’s slowly turning me into a figure freak I hit up eBay, Target, my local Wal-Mart Tossing all those figures into my cart Searching for two-packs, regulars, and Elites Hoping my journey isn’t bittersweet Sometimes I’ll fail, sometimes I succeed And everything I buy, I always Let Em Breathe So give them a listen, buy their merchandise Especially the tank for S.T.O.M.P. in Paradise Matt proclaims to be a wrestling figure God Decide for yourself by listening to the Major Wrestling Figure Pod!

    Nearing 300
The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast isn't just your typical journey into the world of wrestling collectibles; it's a beacon of generosity shining brightly across the wrestling community. With almost 300 episodes under their championship belts, hosts Matt, Brian, and Mark have not only enlightened listeners with their wealth of knowledge but have also displayed unparalleled generosity. Throughout their illustrious run, they've given away nearly 300 figures, hundreds of 8x10s, stickers, magnets, and have selflessly donated thousands upon thousands of toys for children in need. Their commitment to giving back to the community is truly remarkable and sets them apart in the podcasting landscape. But it's not just their generosity that makes the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast a must-listen; it's the passion, humor, and camaraderie shared between Matt, Brian, and Mark that keeps fans coming back for more. Their infectious enthusiasm for all things wrestling collectibles is palpable, making each episode a joyous celebration of the hobby. If their remarkable acts of kindness aren't enough to entice you to listen, then you're truly missing out. The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast isn't just about action figures and memorabilia; it's about spreading joy, making a difference, and uniting fans around the world. So, heed the call, join the fun, and experience the magic of the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast for yourself!

    Amazing pod
I don’t know how you can be a wrestling fan and not listen to this podcast! There are so many great things about this pod - from talking wrestling figs to the wrestling business, there’s never a dull moment when you have Matt, Brian and Mark together. “With a tear...in my eye!”
Since the start for the MWFP, I’ve shed so many tears from laughing and smiling. Never before has a podcast hit so close to home. Hearing Matt and Brian talk about their childhood fig feds and collections makes me think of my best friend and I spending hours putting on our fig fed. This pod got me through my last year of college, a global pandemic, and so much life change. The Major Marks Facebook group has become a 2nd family to me! I’ve been able to share proposing to my (now) wife, my wedding, and the birth of my son. Before the launch of this podcast, I thought S.T.O.M.P. was the stupidest line of figures…until Brian changed my mind with a single childhood story. Now I have all of series 1 displayed in a S.T.O.M.P. In Paradise ring proudly displayed. I guarantee this podcast will encourage you to remember why you love wrestling and why you love toys. I don’t know that there’s really a fountain of youth, but this is as close as you can get!

Thanks for enabling our toy habits…
I’ve watched wrestling on and off for the better part of my life and became fully invested maybe a decade ago. I began collecting a few years ago, and finally found and committed to this podcast about a year ago. The Patreon perks and Facebook group access are a huge plus. It’s great to listen to the updates from the guys’ day to day lives at home and on the road, as well as hear them talk about anything and everything figure/toy related in the wrestling universe (and sometimes beyond). I also love that the podcast covers independent wrestlers, not just those in the mainstream eye. This show is definitely something I look forward to on the weekly, and I hope it’s around for a long time to come!

    My Go-To

I’ve studied the Hasbro and LJN YouTube specials to guide me in the right direction, and now I listen weekly to keep up on all my figure news. Thank you all for your dedication and service! 🤘🏼

This brought me back to the Christmas morning when I opened up that series 1 Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart and they have remained my favorite figures ever since! This bonus episode is one of the many reasons I love the podcast. The Facebook group, the live shows, the toy drive, boozin with the toys I can go on forever baby! Cheers to The Major Pod FOREVER!

    The Night Before Major X-Mas
'Twas the night before Christmas, in the Major Pod group, Broski's in New York, with no time to poop; Silver Balls hung on the gimmck tree with care, In hopes that the Jakks episode soon would be aired; Major Marks nestled all snug in their beds; While visions of BCAs danced in their heads; SDL in her 'kerchief, Mance in his cap, Settled Down Under for a long winter's nap; Not Bare Minimum Selfies, not Smart Mark Twitch streams, Come Christmas morning, there’s just one thing I need; When on the Pod YouTube, there rose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Away to YouTube I flew like a flash, Typed in the address and hit enter so fast. Matt, Mark, and Brian, they started the show, Talking about figures from so long ago; When what to my wondering eyes did appear, But figures with joints that made sound you could hear; Nineteen ninety-six, the first figures came, And here are the first 2 series by name: "Now, Razor! now, Diesel! now Goldust and Taker! The Hitman! Shawn Michaels! Owen Hart and Vader! Ultimate Warrior, fresh off his return! (By the time the fig came out, the bridge had been burned)” With edits from Mark, and pics from DFreedom, The figs came to life, like the first time we’d seem ‘em; We got box sets, and Bad Boys, and repaints galore, But every new series just made us want more; Signatures, Managers, and even Tag Teams, Referees, Announcers, and Wrestling Rings; The figures are great when you have them in hand, Unless, of course, you want them to stand; We still praise this line to whoever will listen, Even if some of the figures were misses; As the episode ended, I checked on eBay, The price started jumping, on all BCAs; Then the boys said, as they started to leave — “Major Christmas to all, and to all – Let ‘Em Breathe!”

I feel guilty writing this review
I have been a day one supporter of the Major Pod crew. That being said I’ve waited far too long to write a review for this show. I have listened to every episode, watched every vlog (some multiple times) and followed the hosts throughout their professional journeys in wrestling over the last five years. On the surface the Major Pod is a show about wrestling toys, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find it’s a show about friendship, nostalgia, building a business, and connecting with people all over the world. Matt, Brian, and Mark are natural hosts and I look forward to virtually hanging out with them for a few hours every week. Truly this podcast the community around it is one of the greatest things to happen in wrestling and toy collecting in the modern era. Thanks Major pod for all the laughs and good times over the years, and many many more to come.

    love major pod
major pod is my favorite podcast as i’m a huge collector & it’s helped me fill in some gaps in the collection. always listen while going to and from my job & it makes my day better. have met all you guys before and will see y’all again at wrestlecade this week. i have a question for y’all to answer on air. i bought the 1/3000 danhausen at walmart this week and i don’t know what to do. 1. personally i want to let it breath and at it to my AEW loosely collection. 2. i could sell it as i see i could make a good profit. 3. my son says i’m dumb to do both of those and should display as is until we meet Danhausen again and have him sign it. What would y’all do??
  • scraperguy2k
Way better in the first year.
This show use to be so good back when it was just Matt and Brian. Nowadays it's just so bloated with adds and self promotion. Might be 40 minutes of figure talk in a typical 2 hour show now. When did follow up segment turn into half self promotion? Use to be following up on news from the previous week. Thought "good housekeeping" at the end of the show was supposed to be the plugs?

Major WF Pod are the masters i am the apprentice
As this is my second review as the first one i talked about how this pod helped save my son and I’s relationship, i wanted to add maybe a different perspective maybe listeners may not have thought about by listening to this podcast. As a brand new collector going on 4 years now, i had no clue on how to collect. Didn’t know anything. I just bought what i loved. But by listening to this pod i learned so much on how to collect just by the simple terms and nuances Matt, Brian and Mark talk about on a week to week basis from the podcast itself and the vlogs. I had no idea what loosey was, a variant, a running change, what a MOC is etc. I’ve learned so much from this podcast that I’m now a little more aware of how to collect and what to look for. So much so i was able to point out an unknown variant on a masters of the universe figure that not too many people caught. As the title reads Major WF Pod are the masters i am the apprentice. I thank you so much you guys have no idea. I hope to maybe see you guys in person at a signing one when you all make up to Albany NY and just know that this podcast is more than just entertaining but it’s informative #thankyou #majormark #scratchthatfigureitch

    Ohhhhhhhh YEA
This podcast is the absolute cream of the crop! It has everything you could want in a podcast and one of the things I anticipate the most on a weekly basis. They never miss a week and bring so much info, comedy and joy that you will be hooked instantly. Matt will even give you a thousand dollars if you put something ridiculous in your display for a year.

Definitely the 5 Star match of wrestling podcasts!
First time leaving a podcast review so here goes. I’ve been listening since Spring of this year and you guys have renewed my interest in wrestling and wrestling figures in ways I didn’t even know were possible. I was a big fan as a kid but honestly fell out of the fandom when the WCW ended. I was a WWF fan but LOVED the WCW. I went to WCW house shows with my dad and fell in love at a very early age. My Dad is sick now and getting back into collecting has helped dig up some old memories of going to those house shows and watching Monday Night Nitro with my dad when I was a kid that I hadn’t thought of in literally decades. Thank you for everything that you do, sincerely. -Chris Hakes (I’m not a patreon member, yet)

    THANK YOU!
Been a Patreon member since early 2020! I’ve never missed an episode! (Video version, early and add free) The absolute best place to get all wrestling figure related news! Don’t want to drag this out, but I do want to just say THANK YOU to Matt, Brian, and Mark for all you do for the wrestling figure community. You reignited my passion for figures. Now I share that passion with my 3 year old twins!

Helps bring back the zen of being a kid
This podcast brings up so many memories as a kid. Playing with certain wrestling figures, sets, accessories, and what have you. Maybe even a few other kinda figures. All in all. Friday tradition
I started listening to the podcast during the lockdown as background in my home office. I was hooked after the first episode I decided to go back and listen from the beginning and while listening back to the old episodes, I realized that I had to get deeper and deeper into this collection stuff. As the lockdown got longer and longer my collection grew bigger and bigger. I always followed WWE and Cardona's WWE theme song was one of my favorites OOOHHHH RAADDIIOOOO . I was at wrestlemania when the boys won the tag titles and was super excited for them. I've been to a few FWF AND SIGNING events took part in the toy drives and even did a toy drive of my own Thanks to this podcast. Even though my wife complains about the weekly purchases every week, you guys are my Friday tradition. SCRATCH THAT FIGURE ITCH!

    The best around
This podcast is single handedly responsible for me owning 4 detolfs. It also inspired me to rebuild an entire loose hasbro collection which I sold during covid to help me build up enough cash for a down payment on a house. The house has gone up over $100,000 in value since then. Without the hasbros I wouldn’t be enjoying all this sweet equity in my house. Plus now I get to rebuild the collection again. 5 stars!

    Major Review!
The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, hosted by Matt, Brian, and Mark, offers a unique blend of wrestling nostalgia, toy collecting, and behind-the-scenes insights. Matt's deep pockets and passion for toy collecting add an exciting dimension to the show, as he shares his latest acquisitions and explores the world of wrestling memorabilia. Brian's casual, laid-back approach provides a relatable contrast, often highlighting the everyday wrestling fan's perspective and quirks, even if he clings to his beloved but struggling New York Mets. Mark's affiliation with AEW lends a genuine insider's perspective to the podcast, offering listeners exclusive insights into the wrestling industry. His recent personal developments, such as the split from Jade Cargill, only add to the intrigue. While the podcast covers a wide range of topics, it successfully bridges the gap between wrestling and collectibles, making it a must-listen for fans who appreciate both. The hosts' distinct personalities keep the content engaging and relatable, ensuring it remains a hit for wrestling enthusiasts and toy collectors alike.

    Major Memories
This podcast has brings back so many child wrestling figure memories. The show made me remember when I was in 4th grade and my classmate told me his older brother has a Yokozuna BCA! I laughed at him and told him that no such thing exists. He insisted his brother had the figure. I wanted this Yoko for my fig fed and had to have it! My classmates brother came to my elementary school one day after school and pulled the Yokozuna out of his backpack and without hesitation I offered him my game boy color for the Yoko, my classmates brother who has a 7th grader took the deal! I finally had the almighty Yokozuna! I just had to tell my parents someone stole my game boy color as they would be outraged if they found out I traded the game boy for the figure! Thanks Matt and Brian for flooding my head with fig fed memories as a child! Matt, Brian and Mark have me going down memory one every week and got me back into collecting!

    How great is the MWFP?
How great is the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, and the products they make? Last week I took part in a free showing of a movie (turned out to be Barbie, which was fine) from a research company for $50. The whole time I was thinking about what I want to spend my earnings on- the upcoming Macho Man Randy Savange Big Rubber Guy. Ohhh yeah!
