    Very Clear and Informative
I love your show. It educates me and informs me in a fair, intelligent way. With humor as well. Great. Today you stated how very tired you are of talking about DT. I couldn’t agree with you more. Your guests are really thoughtful, intelligent, inspiring and more. But, the constant talk of DT is tiresome and we all need relief. I can’t wait for the chatter to die down. I can’t wait to talk about others, the arts, food, law w/o it being attached to the little orange DT. Hopeful that day will come. Thank you. PRS

    I learn so much.
Preet educates me, helps me navigate the world on topics I might not have encountered and on the ones stumbled upon everyday. He is a real human being, the good kind; keeping his ego in check and with a delightful sense of humor. He is also easy on the ears. A soft voice and tone that does not annoy. Unlike other podcasters he is masterful at guiding the conversation without going off the rails. I look forward every week to this show. It’s rated number one in my book.

    Outstanding always
I am so appreciative for the thoughtful conversations with compelling guests. And for Preet’s words of wisdom at the end - no matter the topic, they are inspiring, affecting and relevant and often remind us we can do better. Outstanding always. Please keep episodes coming!

    Clarity in thinking and elucidation
Preet has a keen analytical mind, as shown by his prowess in law. He is a great observer, and commentator, on our current circumstances. Couple this with his outstanding selection of insightful guests and this is one podcast everyone should listen to for thought provoking understanding of today’s America.

    Top Notch
Great combination of politics and law. Peter is a smart guy who asks the questions we all have.

    Hit or miss
A program on civility and we told Larry David is a good example? Respect for the host but I could not continue.

    E J Carroll - Trump’s slandering
Has Trump paid the $5 million judgement from last year? If not, why not? On appeal, can judges INCREASE the penalty against Trump? Thanks, Edward Pouchet, Fairfax, VA P.S. For only the second time, I have agreed with Donald Trump - This is America!! Someone like him will pay for his disgusting actions. The first time was when he asked - why were these prosecutions not started two years ago? This was the same question I asked myself all during 2021. He would have been in prison by now.

    Easy question
The answer to your easy question is “Nobody”.

    Liberal war hawk 🗑️
Expect zero criticism for liberals/democrats and the standard pov thatI suppose a former cop and establishment darling would have. Latest episode on Yemen is literally an interview with a CIA director that advocates for bombing the poorest country on earth because they delayed some ships. Unsubscribed.

    Best in the business
Good humors with down the line reporting. When things are outrageous, he calls them outrageous. When things are blown out of proportion, he describes the missing context.

Thanks for your voice of reason
So appreciate the digestible legal analysis, and the calm, intelligent tone to this podcast. Preet’s interviewing skills are remarkable (is anybody keeping track of how often his guests say “that’s a really good question“?). I even like hearing about his family – – so happy that he is molding additional humans who will hopefully carry on his bright and curious manner.

    A Difficult Balance
Preet does a good job of balancing objective hosting with subjective guests and topics. I would be interested in hearing from more guests with a politically conservative background (this need not mean platforming ill conceived ideas).

    Newfound negativity
Some of the last few episodes with Kara Swisher have been absolutely brutal listens. Particularly when she's talking to an actual expert on the climate issues and she tramples all over what he's trying to tell her.
  • VioletMeadows
    Disappointed
Eye-opening in the acknowledgment of pain of Israelis, but nothing of the revenge or ongoing suffering of the Palestinians.

    Punjabi
Usually love Preet, his analysis and his content on this pod but… really disappointed that a man of Punjabi descent mispronouncing Punjab - it’s ok Preet, the majority non-Punjabi audience will not implode if you pronounce the name correctly. They’ve likely never heard of the region before so best to start out saying it properly.

    Political hack
This is a partisan hack who is a leftist and very anti-American. This is the Hamasing of our government, study his history and look at his behavior. A band news person with serious demons in the closet that will come out one day.

    Luke Russert
Preet and Café team, Thank you for another amazing production/interview. The interview with Luke Russert, and the backgrounds of how Preet and his father served our legislators were fascinating and intriguing. Preet, thank you for your service in the Southern District. Kind regards, I. Weiss

    Sean Carroll
First, I love your podcast, and am grateful that you had Sean Carroll on. I’m now also a fan of his! Not sure if you did this on purpose, but it seemed that you were pushing aside any mention of his podcast. We can all use more great ones to listen to. Again. Thanks for the wonderful work you do with Stay Tuned.

Great episode Re: Mike Johnson with Annie Karni.

    Another pro Israel guest
When will you present the whole picture? The Palestinian people’s view? How they have been oppressed, starved and many of them wrongfully imprisoned over the decades — do not just start reporting on October 7. Shameful. I expect more from Preet!

    It’s Pled!
Thank you, Preet, for being #TeamPled — 30 years as a State prosecutor, and when I hear someone say a defendant “pleaded guilty”, my ears bleed. Please inform your wonderful chicken loving partner “The defendant pleaded his case to the judge, but when his defense was rejected, he pled guilty.”

    Well rounded information
Interviews an array of interesting and informative people. I’m always getting new perspectives.

    The best set of podcasts
I only pay for two sets of podcasts: Planet Money and Cafe Insider. Preet and all his Cafe colleagues are to the law as Planet Money is to the economy. If you want to understand the world, I recommend knowing about those two disciplines in a deep way. And if it’s accessible to you, I recommend paying for news and information that is worth consuming so it keeps being available for consumption.

Wow! Heather Cox was amazing, so informative. Thank you so much Preet. 🙃

Great guests! Preet's good too 😀
The interview with Heather Cox Richardson was one of the best single episode podcasts ever. Definitely grabbing a copy of her book.
  • Wow revelation!
Great interview with Heather Cox Richardson
That hour just flew by! I read her “Letters” daily & looked forward to this interview. WOW! I lived through Reagan (I was in college) & new how phony “supply side economics” is but she put everything into perspective in a way I appreciate greatly. I see now how this tendency to authoritarianism has shaped up. Thanks so much for this podcast!

    Great interviews
Preet is one of the best interviewers I know: engaged, knowledgeable, witty. Covers a wide range of topics.

    Excellent job!
New listener. Very thoughtful and illuminating.

    Absolutely love Preet
Confused by latest guest Rev Ryan Burge but as always appreciate the discussion. I’m one who believes politics and religion don’t mix. Both important but separate. When I attended church (Presbyterian) regularly as an adolescent - our Pastor ended the service with a prayer for our country’s leaders (president, etc) - wisdom, strength, guidance to lead. Simple but effective.

Preet needs a math geek to interview an economist
Greg Ip was very good with statistics in most situations. BUT when it came to dissing Covid loan analysis he brought up the “ bogeymen” examples rather than statistical analysis. Of course he works for the WSJ and would rather gnaw off his arm than agree that the market is not the only solution !

    Impressive short Robert Kolker interview
Mr. Kolker was a well-prepared, interesting interview-ee, who also came off with great sincerity and empathy for the families and victims, interviewed by an excellent interviewer, Preet Bharara.

    Helpful, Interesting, Inspiring
The law is over, under, and all around us, but unless one is a lawyer, it's hard to put it all together. This podcast helps by explaining the law surrounding front page issues of the day. A significant feature at the beginning of some episodes is when Preet Bharara answers listeners' questions; these explanations are cogent and insightful and to the point. The hosts explain legal terms as they are using them, so you don't feel overwhelmed. They sometimes differ with each other or their guests, and those discussions exemplify respect and humility. They go into history when needed to show how today's matters evolved. They explain alternative opinions and approaches, so they are not one-sided. They sometimes share humor or personal stories, so you get a feel for them as people, too. They are committed to fairness and justice. This is a lovely and satisfying podcast and reassures me that rationality and humanity still have a firm place in our public environment.

    Indictment
Great show. Preet and Joyce provide thorough explanations about the laws and how they apply in this case. Joyce really called the venue issue. I would like to see prosecution indict the NJ case of dissemination.

    Great Podcast
I love the law and should have been a lawyer instead of a CPA. I really enjoy the positive human interest commentary at the end of some of the podcasts. I had not heard about the 8 grader walking several miles to attend his graduation . And going back aways, I probably short-changed Dianne Feinstein. Preet’s first hand knowledge of Senator Feinstein’s commitment to public service took be aback. Thanks for educating me.

    The Real Deal
Preet is the epitome of a public servant. Stay Tuned is the reminder we all need in dark times that smart, ethical people who understand the machinery of the law are still out there doing the important work. We too often shore up in our tribes and jump to conclusions about others - this is by design. The antidote to extremism is careful consideration of the facts. And Preet - while still very much left-leaning - encourages patience and trust in the process without allowing his personal views to distort the search for truth and justice under the law. I come back often and enjoy the thoughtful guests, range of topics, and the "radical " subtext: remain calm and reasonable.

    Asking the important questions
Strong undercurrent of love for humanity. Definitely not a shock jock. The approach is warm and humane.

    The AI FUTURE
This was a very good conversation, you covered a broad breath of implications however there are some blind spots here. First the AI revolution is happening along side a revolution in robotics and the paring of the two imperils more than the high skilled jobs that were discussed. In the blink of an eye robotic labor will exit the factory floors and enter bakeries and hospitals alike. AI will compliment the roll out of the automated work force and the sociological and economic consequences will be deep and destructive. We have coped with one revolution at a time thus far - how will the disruption of two revolutions be absorbed? Capitalism and government can not function without consumers/taxpayers - the 1% for all of their consumption can not power a nation state alone. Secondly, the flavor of AI will be different depending on the intentions of its makers. A North Korean AI will have very different functions than a South Korean AI. The constraints will be different thus the consequences for implementation will be different. A world were Iranian or North Korean or Russian or Chinese AI is operating in the same digital and physical spaces as our own is going to be exponentially more dangerous. A digitized world with autonomous robots powered by Al that are ripe for hacking and manipulation is not going to be pretty. We think that the catastrophe is going to be that we become obsolete and AI replaces us like the puppets becoming the puppet master but the scarier scenario is that we become collateral damage in an AI VS AI conflict like civilians trapped in a war zone.

    Informative
I have enjoyed finding this podcast. I normally do not listen to real time political/ law anything! This has been so refreshing and informative. Love the format. The baseball episode I must say was awesome.

Julia Preston / In Brief 5/15 episode
This episode was fabulous.. clear, concise, and extremely informative. I have a much better understanding of the immigrant situation at the southern border, the end of Title 42 and the challenges for any administration in addressing this significant problem. Your guest, Julia Preston, gets 5 Stars, as do you for your skilled interview. Thank you !

    Church and State: last remark
Excellent show as always. I enjoyed the episode. Preet’s last remarks were on a tweet that presented a memo from the administrator of Parkland hospital in Dallas-Ft Worth regarding the performance of his hospital during the Kennedy assassination and the Lee Harvey Oswald murder. My father was doing his medical residency at Parkland at the time. The OB ward was right across the hallway from the ward Kennedy was treated/pronounced dead. A year and change later I was born in that OB ward. The podcast was excellent as usual. Preet brought me back to that time with his parenthetical remark. Thanks Preet!

I love when two articulate intellectuals distill complex issues with plain talk. As a listener, It’s less exhausting that way. Thanks again. I learned a lot.

Preet just isn’t good at this
Agree with Preet’s politics and sincerely tried to listen, but truth be told, he’s terrible. At best, he sounds like a programmed robot — awkwardly sanctimonious and uncomfortable at the same time. At his worst, Preet is a serial misogynist whose didactic commentary drowns out female guests and co-hosts. And his forced jokes are terrible — bottom line: Preet is a CLOWN 🤡
