    I feel seen
This podcast has become my new favorite. I just finished reading The Lazy Genius Way and I want to be friends with Kendra. She’s kind and funny and has helped me connect to myself and the things that matter to me. My mornings with kids are calmer, my kids seem to have picked up on the fact that I’m no longer bent on so much control but prioritizing connecting with them. There’s so much more I could say but I will leave it at this: Thank You, Kendra, for sharing your gifts with the world. You have touched my life.

    Saving my buns.
I find this podcast very therapeutic. Kendra’s logical way of seeing the big picture is very helpful to me. Plus she’s pleasant to listen to and her quirks make me smile. When I’m tired of anxiety-inducing news or political podcasts, this is a tiny pleasure in my day.

In my twenties and love this podcast
I barely started listening and I really enjoy the host and her topics they’re all so insightful and HELPFUL! I didn’t think I’d like this podcast tbh but tried it bc Angela and Jenna and it’s great. I like that she does kid related questions at the end so childfree people like me can tap out then lol give it a try Y’all will enjoy it

    Could Not Connect
I heard of this podcast through listening to Office Ladies. I wanted to give it a fair shot and scrolled through dozens of episode titles trying to find an appealing episode to listen to. I struggled to find something interesting, finally settling on a cooking related episode and it was just a plug for her not-a-cookbook. Her speaking style is conversational to the point of filler. And then an ad plays. Just not the style of podcast for me.

    So helpful
Life changing advice for tackling life tasks - big and small. I love her systems thinking approach to advice. Thank you, Kendra!

    Finally understand football!
I am 61 years old and never understood football. I just returned from Vegas where I attended my second Super Bowl game. I wanted to get the most out of the experience and found your podcast in my search to learn the game. I listened to it 4 times and it worked like a charm. The game is soooo much more fun when you have a clue as what’s going on. Thank you!

    Listen to Episode 351⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have loved this podcast for a long time and this episode is definitely my favorite so far. A complete look at what being a Lazy Genius means and how to apply it to all areas!! Will definitely be one I will recommend to friends! Thanks so much Kendra and Team LG 💕

    Helpful and practical!
I’ve integrated so much advice in both practical steps and mindset from this podcast. Love the perspective and way it is so clearly laid out.

    Amazing content, too many ads
Love the pod but way too many ads for such short episodes. Get that bag girl, but maybe spread the ads out or lengthen the pods

    My favorite podcast!
This is the one show I make sure to listen to every week. It’s just a bright spot of encouragement in the midst of this busy life. And I have learned so much and found so many great new ideas here!

    My Small Changes in 2024
Loved the episode! My five year old can opener never worked. It was old, rusted and seldom opened a can. I bought a new expensive one that slides through the cans. What joy! Also, in 2024 I decided to cook a double batch each time I cook . So I cook every other day instead of every day.
  • @TheGirlPie
Love the Office Hours eps too!
    Terrific.

    10 small changes
Just listened for the first time and this is genius! Love the distinction between changes and progress. These are great ideas. I recently bought a travel brush and comb to keep in my travel toiletries kit so I don’t have to wait until I’m done using them the day we leave before I can finish packing. How easy but what a difference it makes. Thanks! I will be following along.

    Small change
I loved the 10 small changes episode and immediately ordered a drink spinner. I took it a step further and ordered 3 different colored sets of plastic cups for my 3 children. I’m tossing our other random cups and assigning each child a color. I’m hoping this will eliminate getting out a new cup every time they are thirsty because they “can’t remember which one was theirs” and therefore ending up with 13 plastic cups (for 3 kids) all over the kitchen by the end of every day. Thank you, Kendra!!

Just what I needed in 2024!
I am new to the lazy genius world and from the first episode I listened to I have been hooked. Not only is it tangible, practical, and helpful but Kendra sheds light on the things of life that truly matter. I have been praying that my life would reflect that I value people over things in all areas. As I have lived focused on task over people time and time again. This podcast helps me stay true to how I want to live my life. Thank you for reminding us crazy do-all-the-things people doused with a do-more culture to slow down and evaluate how to live whole heartedly and unapologetically true to the stuff that’s real in life.

    The one about habits
Thank you for the recent podcast about habits with James Clear. If I’m honest, when I first saw the title, I sort of rolled my eyes and thought really!? Then I thought, “I trust Kendra”, so I’ll give it a shot. So glad I did! Thanks for the conversation. It really helped me see how much I’ve learned and where I need to make adjustments.

    Mostly Great
Overall, I like this podcast and listen somewhat consistently. She does have a lot of great tips and I love that she is so down to earth and is a likable person. However, sometimes the topics deep dive just a little too far for me (personally) and I just can’t get through some episodes all the way. Like how to pick a purse or how to go to the pool in the summer. I get it though, some people love this type of granular thinking and planning. I have learned that I am not that way, and that is OK. I am carefree by nature and believe things always work out, and they do.

    Appreciate her voice and opinion
I love hearing her thoughts, though sometimes I feel like she is not in touch with her audience. Like—-she does not have a hold on her true privilege. But I do think she is so funny, smart and wise. I truly do enjoy her.

    I love this podcast!
I discovered this podcast in fall 2022 when I started commuting for work again. I’m so glad I found it—it’s been part of my daily commute since then, and I find something helpful from each episode. Listening to Kendra is like having a chat with a good and very wise friend. It’s excellent on so many levels, and I look forward to every episode.

    Wrapping this year…
I wanted to reach out and say thank you, Kendra, for your wrapping tips. I have always dreaded the task of wrapping gifts and would find little satisfaction in it. I would always be so tired and exasperated by the time I got around to it. This year I copied you… I spent a day in my bedroom (my kids were ok with this bc they were finally getting gifts under the tree, and so they happily entertained themselves!) I watched my all time favorite movie, Gone With The Wind, while getting ALL of my wrapping done! I enjoyed every moment. It was “me time” and it made a mundane task happy and fun. I think I will look forward to Wrapping Day every year from here on out! THANK YOU! -kc

    Best. Podcast. Ever.
I wish I could remember how I found out about The Lazy Genius so I could thank them. Kendra, you have changed my life. The past few years have been REALLY hard and listening to you has not only made life easier but even though we’ve never met, I feel like I made a great friend in the process. Thank you a million times over!

    We’ve overcomplicated things…
I truly enjoy Kendra and think we would get on as fellow Type A “inclined toward big systems” people. That said, in the last year, TLG has lost its way for me and I find the advice and over-processing, constant reassurances about my insurmountable stress, and applying big principles to small problems unhelpful. I think TLG is at its best when it keeps things simple and practicable. I really believe that if Kendra listened back the tape on her Ep #339, she too would see it’s hyper-preachy, stress inducing and over-complicated. All this offered with grace and a generous pinch of salt, as I think she has done a lot of excellent work.

    Holiday Stress Relief
Episode #342 -How to Uncomplicate Your Holiday To-Do List is saving my sanity. Super helpful strategy for focusing and getting everything done for the holidays. Thank you! Love the podcast but especially this episode!

Loved that latest episode. Really helped me!

    So helpful
I really love this podcast! She covers a wide range of topics. And many times, I listen to an episode about a topic I don’t necessarily have a problem with, but get 1-2 takeaways to improve my process!
  • lziggs
Love learning to be a lazy genius!
I love the reminders on how to break down problems into small solvable chunks! And open office hours episodes are great because if one person has the question then you know others have it too!

    What Matters
Always helpful to remember what matters. Thank you, Kendra! And boy, can she break down big annoyances into small, manageable, and even enjoyable-ish bites.
  • J3808
    Enjoy it with caveats
Really enjoy a lot of her principles and learn a lot from them! Sometimes it does seem like she might overthink some things, and that decide once can be overly rigid, but sometimes it really helps simplify.

    Never miss an episode!
Love Kendra and her practical and KIND approach to life!

Practical help that’s easy to follow
I love Kendra’s approach to everyday life issues and how we can tackle them in a kinder way to ourselves and family. She delivers with humor and joy every week. Always ready to start Mondays with TLG!!!

    Can’t stop laughing
Ok, I’m always late to the party. I’ve listened to and loved recent episodes. But I thought I would skip back to the beginning for fun. I’m currently laughing with tears streaming down my face listening to episode two. Amy Grant was also my first concert and the 4Him convo…. Dying. Much love from Oklahoma, Kendra. You make life more fun.

Like having a wise big sister!
This podcast is SO refreshing for me! For someone who has felt on her own in this modern world to learn everything that goes into being a wife and mom balancing work and homemaking, it has been so great to just hear what works from Kendra. Her personality glows through and when I listen I honestly feel like I am sitting at her kitchen table eating up all of her advice and wisdom. Thank you, Kendra, for sharing yourself and your experience with us!

Like hanging out with your best friend
I discovered this podcast a month or so ago because of her book and had to go back to episode #1 because of how much I enjoy it. Kendra has given words and validation to some of my secret thoughts as a parent and a person already. I want to binge listen but I also want to savor it like a really expensive box of chocolate. Thank you for your authenticity and your humor and your tips and just being you!

    The best kind of bossy
Listening to Kendra is like having your really smart older sister help you through all the things that you struggle with, are too tough to figure out on your own, or talk you off the crazy lady ledge when you go too big with trying to solve life’s everyday problems. What started as a Covid-era binge listen has become a weekly bright spot. Listen to Kendra. She won’t sole your problems for you but she’ll teach you how to solve them yourself in the best way possible for you.

    It’s really good.
She does a nice job. Talks about all the fun and hard mom things I’m always trying to get better at.

    So Many Ads
I’m totally on board with podcasters using ads to help compensate their time, but this podcast has short episodes and so many ads. The latest 17 min podcast has 4 minutes of ads. 😳

    Kendra is awesome
Kendra is great. She’s positive, thoughtful and funny!

A must follow! This podcast junkies GO-TO 🥰
I am a homeschooling stay at home mom to 5 kids 9 and under. I listen to sooo many podcasts with lots of encouragement for life as I go about my days. My podcasts are a lifeline!! I am noticing that when I’m feeling overwhelmed Kendra is where I go to. Sometimes podcasts can leave you feeling like you need to do something big (like 5 steps to a better laundry routine) but not this one — she somehow encourages you in a totally different way. The Lazy Genius is all about prioritizing and weeding out the noise. And she’s a real person who is openly in progress which is so encouraging too. It’s such a peaceful place to listen. You’re from the heavens Kendra thanks for following your calling!!

This podcast is delightful. You’ll hear practical ways to better the things in your life that matter and give less attention to the things that don’t.

    Hooked on your podcasts
Hi Kendra, A friend introduced me to your podcast about a month ago. Right from the first podcast I listened to I was hooked! I am playing catch up and listen to you every day for at least two hours (sometimes four hours). You have GREAT advice and always bring a smile to my face. Thank you for what you do. Big sister advice
I love this podcast. I feel like Kendra is the older sister I never had. She gives great advice, very practical things I can implement immediately, but still so much permission and grace for not doing everything. She also has given me language and framework to solve my own specific problems. For example, I hate having random stuff all over the floor of my van, but when my van is tidy I don’t have the stuff I need when I’m out and about. So recently I “lazy geniused” my situation. I bought a hanging shoe organizer, cut it to the size I needed and hung it up in my van. Now I have everything I need in the pockets (extra clothes, shoes, wipes, sunscreen, diapers, hand sanitizer) and nothing scattered on the floor of my van. Thank you Kendra, for your kindness as you impart genius ideas, but also for teaching me how to be kind to myself. P.S. Kendra is an avid reader (like I am) and I listened to her episode about throwing a Book Swap. Since then I have thrown four book swaps!! My friends and I love them. We have an amazing time recommending books to each other. We’ve started wrapping the books and exchanging them like a White Elephant (Dirty Santa) gift exchange.
