Been listening since the walking dead. These two provide insight to things that I want to talk about. Bald Move!

I absolutely love listening to these two discuss my favorite TV shows. Always just feels like sitting around with two friends and having a good convo. Extra helpful for a show as strange and convoluted as west world. Definitely improves my enjoyment of the show!!

I tried this because I enjoy Westworld but when one of the hosts said he didn’t know what a flapper was, I lost interest. It is tiring that podcasts hosts act like their ignorance is charming and normal. Ugh.

I tried. I sub’d a bunch of Westworld podcasts and this was the only one that I lasted 5 min and bailed on. 🤦‍♂️If you like the hosts, you do you, but I’d rather spend my time watching paint dry.

From Breaking Good to now and everything in between, Bald Move has been at the top of its game. I’ve laughed as if I were in the same room as Jim and A.Ron passing a fatty around. They’re complete professionals when it comes to breaking down a show and their humor and personalities and real friendship shine through every time. I’ve actually stared watching shows I’d never watch before just to have another Bald Move podcast to listen to. Anyways enough d**k suckin, you guys rock keep em coming!

I’ve listened to several podcasts through the seasons and this is by far the best I’ve heard. Jim and A. Ron strike a great balance between funny banter (without being dumb) and pretty astute analysis (without getting bogged down in crackpot Reddit theories)

I can’t remember your lovely wife’s name, but can you guys include her more? I really liked her in the Better Call Saul podcast, and I think you all could use more female perspectives on the next season of Westworld.

I love everything the Bald Move network does. They treat the material with a level of depth and analysis that no one else does while also being really entertaining. I will say one thing that has happened over the last year is Jim has become a bit monotone and less enthusiastic. Other than that, absolutely love the show

Opposite of Decoding Westworld, At least these dude are into the show, Jkk not only reason...they just seem like dudes that i can have a martini with and talk westworld

Love every podcast Bald Move does:) You never disappoint!!!

I’m not going to lie and say they explain it all. But I love to watch an episode of TV then compare my thoughts with the instant reaction of Jim and A-Ron. They don’t have every answer to every mystery, but really that kind of spoiler would ruin the show. They help by picking up on things I might have missed, or giving a slightly different twist on the ethics and philosophical questions the show is asking. Then they do some research and a bit of theory crafting so you’re can be prepared for next week and not totally in the dark. In this day and age, you really need a good podcast to fully enjoy any good TV show. So I strongly recommend Baldmove. Not only for westworld but every show they cover is tremendous. Also consider joining their club for ad-free podcasts that get right to the content.

From Game Of Thrones to Westworld to Home Alone 2, these guys consistently produce high quality content. It’s a mixture of comedy, philosophy, and story mechanics that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Super thankful for all the content this group produces!

Thanks for the honest reviewing and analysis. I’m tired of all the other unbalanced, lying fanboy review podcasts. Keep the faith and do not be influenced by the detractors. The feet of show runners and writers must be held to the fire!

It seems like business might be down for baldmove. That’s the only explanation I have for the worst drop in quality of content I’ve yet to see in a podcast. Constant negative opinions, bad takes that hosts seem to take weirdly personally, generally a failed experiment. This has been a fall from grace that stretches well beyond this show.

Loved the ASOIF/GOT depth and intrigue so I listened expecting the same for Westworld. It was there, most times with some minor yellow flags. But the last instant take severely cut this podcast off for me. Really? S3E05 of Westworld resembled an episode of Watchmen, that was just dramatic music and black and white, while that episode of WM very thoroughly outlined the immediate effects of being a black officer in the Jim Crow era? & the generational effects of growing up in a post colonialized American territory?? Say how you feel about an episode of Westworld but dismissing it entirely, along with one of the FEW shows who’s that actually seriously displayed the Tulsa riots and it’s implications, is not only an isolated white male perspective but a BS dismissive one. Typically don’t mind white dudes nerding out about a show whether I disagree with them or not but man.... as a black woman I’m thinking only expletives after this Instant Take. Permanently unsubscribed.

LOVE that you guys break down not just the episode, but also bring in your theories and ideas. I feel like I get to discuss the episode with friends in these weird times of social distancing. Keep it up!!

This is not a fanboy podcast for people who only want to rave about the show. It’s a real deep dive into the shows characters, themes, and arcs. Like a pair of good literature lawyers, the arguments Jim and Aaron make are logical and well articulated.

Would also love to get your take on ‘Devs’ on FX. Keep it up!

This is my favorite of all the Westworld podcasts I listen to and enjoy. I think you guys have an ability to go just a sliver beyond what I hear in \W/ discussions elsewhere. It is a really tough show to wrap the mind around, so I appreciate the depth of your analysis and the organization of your thoughts. Keep it up and thanks! Todd in NJ

Anyone want to listen to a podcast where two bros constantly disagree and seem like they’re about to get in a fight? Yeah, me neither. The tension between the hosts makes this podcast pretty much impossible to enjoy. Boo

These guys work hard and do a great job.

While Westworld itself wasn't up to par during season 2 Bald Move picked up the slack. At times the podcast was more entertaining than the actual show so gather round the camp fire and listen to these boys dissect the show more thoroughly than a tech fixing a disabled host.

Whiny, inaccurate, half-witted, imbecilic, and simple minded hosts reviewing yet another show they don’t understand or even seem to like. These two have become more and more negative to the point of being insufferable. Not a pod for Westworld fans who are able to actually follow along with what is happening in the show.

It might be a good time for A.Ron and Jim to take a moment and reflect on their last year of podcasting. As they’ve increased the frequency and variety of material that they cover, there’s been a noticeable decline in the overall quality of the work they produce. You treat your commissioned Movie podcasts as a burden, where you used to create a work of joy, they’re now just a half hearted effort... obviously just wanting to get them done with. If I paid for you to cover a movie and you just rushed through it producing your recent half-assed reviews I’d be upset. You should be embarrassed that you are taking money for sleepwalking through your commitments. Sadly your over inflated egos have replaced the once carefree, and relatable hosts. Hopefully it’s not too late and you can return back to your roots... but unfortunately for now I will be canceling my premium subscription.

and you will see that even in the details of each episode they spew their hate for this show. Oh but hey you should also give them your money for their various kickstarters because they are super talented. NO.

Somehow the guys have taken a wrong turn. Much of their commentary is like a movie critic focusing on their perception of acting, writing, storyline, etc. They are really good when talking about the story and mysteries. However, more and more they express negative opinions and spend less time discussing the show. They were my top podcast - and I'm sorry to unsubscribe.

Just uninteresting to listen to. Not a fan to keep me listening. Honestly this last episode they have no idea what they’re talking about. It’s not rocket science, Dolores is in her own body, Charlotte Hale is someone else (we do not know who) even the show creators validated that. Kind of frustrating. And for the love of god it is DELOS not DAYLOS! Confused where Daylos came from ?

Angry with the show because they got it all wrong

I’m done, all they do is pick apart every bit of a scene to find problems and complain about it. I listen to all of season one and two of this podcast and I’m I’ve become so frustrated with Aaron and Jim that I’m unsubscribing from all baldmove podcasts.

I used to love your West works pod cast but I have to break up with you both now. It’s like recently you haven’t even been watching the show even though you claim to do several rewatches. I just don’t understand your nit picky point of view. Aaron you don’t even know what is going on! You are so wrapped up in being critical you are missing the show.

Great season finale! But Jim and Aaron really seemed confused. Watch it again guys

These guys do a great job. Would be even better if they could see the forest for the trees sometimes -- they dwell on minutiae a bit too much.

I loved your alls analysis towards the end of season 1 and beginning of season 2 but you all are wayyyyy too nit-picky and negative the last couple of episodes. I loved episode 7 and couldn't wait to hear your alls recap only to listen to you all harp on the writing in 2 scenes for half the episode. You guys have all these questions and problems that almost every time get answered in the next episode. How about you have a little faith? Joy and Nolan clearly know what they're doing as this is an incredible show and one of my favorites ever. Just relax and enjoy, no need to be so picky and negative. Also, we get it dude, you're an athiest.

Have listened to many Bald Move episodes for both GOT and WW. Something in their "bro-ey" approach doesn't fully work when it comes to WW. While they are funny at times they don't decide themselves if they'll play it "the relaxed way" or "the brainy way". Hence leading to a result which is either too shallow or too rigid depending on what you're looking for.

Seems like none of the hosts really like this show. Why bother hate watching something you don’t enjoy and then do a podcast about it on a weekly basis?

After being introduced to Jim and ARon through GOT, I knew I would follow their analysis of WW. Their intelligence and wit make their analysis spot on. You don’t need to agree with all of their takes to enjoy the podcast. I really enjoy this addition to watching the show. I love how much more I get out of the show with the addition of the Bald Move analysis and speculation. Bald Move once again Bald Move!

I liked this podcast during Season 1 but it's really changed for this season. They've gotten more and more negative and whine about the show.
