How bout u try and watch the show some time instead of metagaming so much

Listening to the podcast reviewing episodes one and two. Too slow, too improbable? Are you kidding? I almost choked when Tuco answered the door when Jimmy knocked. Hooked. Brilliant beginning

Rewatched BCS during my paternity leave. Now that I’m commuting back to work again, this podcast has been very entertaining during the drives. Interesting to hear theories on what might happen after I’ve seen the series. Jim & A. Ron also add angles that I hadn’t thought of and some episode details that I had missed. Thank you for the show!

Doing a BCS rewatch and wanted to have a companion Pod to hear interesting thoughts and ideas. Arron was a typical pod host in thinking he could write, edit, direct and market the show. It’s such a tired trope. If you were as talented as you think you were then produce something other than jealous criticism of one of the greatest TV shows ever made. That said, Jim and Alexis have covered the show brilliantly. Calling out problems in a way that does not convey that they know better.

I finally got around to watching this show. I’ve been a fan of Bald Move for a long time for a reason, they produce fantastic podcasts that are insightful and funny. I especially enjoyed the addition of Alexis for fresh perspective. She brings a different style of wit to the already fun podcasts I expect when I download something from Bald Move.

Both hosts have monotonous voices, very difficult to keep my attention even though they are discussing a favorite show of mine.

Hosts get way off track, come off as smug, very little research is done. Also a lot of whining about random things that have nothing to do with the show, the latest example being Miracle Whip. A lot of inside jokes that aren’t explained. Was looking for a good recap show, will keep looking

Alexis seems nice but she just tries (and fails) way too hard to be funny. Makes the whole podcast seem less serious, you guys should keep the core together for more shows rather than stretching this too far. Also we get it you hated walt, give it a rest and move on.

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the Podcast. A fan of multiple bald move productions it’s nice to hear this bit of a different take from Alexis and Jim. Going to miss this. Thanks for watching with us.

I’ve really tried to listened to this last season like I did with BB with Aron and jim and loved it. I can’t make it through 20 minutes of this though because it literally doesn't keep my attention. I hate to say this but Alexis is so monotone I’m not sure she should be podcasting….I know that’s rough to probably hear but if you want to Make the most of the network I think it needs to be said.

It is really unfortunate that A. Ron is not covering these amazing final episodes. Jim is a great complement to his energy, but, I’m sorry, two Jims is just really boring. I love the entire BM crew, but some pairings should just not happen. Especially on a show that has caught fire like this.

Alexis somehow manages to make the best show on television sound boring. Is she stoned? On a Thorazine drip? Just coming out of surgery? I don’t know if she’s trying to sound cool like yeah man whatever or what but it’s painful to listen. The male co-host tries but sounds defeated and can barely conceal his annoyance.

I tried to roll with the changes, because I understand why A. Ron left, and it was tiring listening to him trash the show. However, the quality of this podcast has gone so far downhill. The low energy is bad enough, especially when Jim and Alexis just agree with each other on everything, but the lack of knowledge about the shows they’re covering is egregious. Jim calls Breaking Bad his favorite show, but you can’t tell by how little he knows about it. Shows this good deserve to have someone invested in details, and these two clearly are not. I’m sure you’re busy, as we all are, but even I have time to read a couple of interviews about the show, and I don’t do a whole podcast about it. (Just take a scroll through The Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday morning and you’d find out why they cut the audio on the Kim call.) Future BCS viewers, if you’re interested in hearing a podcast by people who actually like this show and analyze it, Joanna Robinson has a podcast at The Ringer that’s great.

I understand being critical of episodes, but the way you two are together on here is flat and kind of boring. It’s like, maybe drink some coffee beforehand. Also, I can’t stand when I know more about the show than the podcasters. How about preparing beforehand? Obviously, the Jesse and Walt scene was in the season 2 tiimeline- when Saul was introduced- duh.

Is she on meds or what? So lethargic and whiny. She adds nothing to the podcast.

Two hosts who feel bored can’t remember half the scenes. Why listen?

Jim and A. Ron were great. This is the best show on tv in years and the podcast isn’t good. I am no longer a bald move premium member. The podcast is NOT good now.

Why are you doing a podcast if the time-specific references of the BCS era you say “I don’t get it - before my time” ? Do your DD - Peter Gould didn’t ‘google Mission Impossible music and just use one of the top three song results.’ This is all-around painful to listen to and insulting to the creators.

This has become a simple recap rather than the deep analysis Jim and A.Ron are capable and of which is sorely missed.

I miss him because he was not afraid to criticize things, and when he did he’d go into detail. Don’t like the female host, also, SHES SEEN THE ENTIRE SHOW ALREADY!. Who wants to listen to that? Then she asks fake questions, or drops “spoilers”. Like when your watching with your irl friend and they’re like “just wait for the next scene” “pay attention to his face, it’ll make more sense later” “this episode was slow but it’s build up to the next episode” “does nacho even have a ac or tv in the hotel room? Teehee.” Listened to one episode and that was more than enough. I quit

I’ve listened to Jim and A-Ron for years, and love hearing their opinions. I wasn’t sure I’d like a new host, but Alexis is great! I think she’s funny and charming. She also has interesting opinions.

I really liked A. Ron and miss him on the show, he was so great to listen to. Alexis cusses constantly and it’s not cool although she thinks it is. She’s so full of herself, she puts down BCS all the time. I listen to this podcast because I happen to Like Better Call Saul. Alexis your just not up to this, so what if your husband is a fantastic commentator, go home and do something that suits you.

All concerned, I am a club member and will remain a club member because I support The Move. I’ve enjoyed your podcasts in the past and expect that I will still enjoy them going forward. I’m also looking forward to this final season of BCS. However, I think I’m moving on to another BCS cast. That being said, I wish Alexis all the best. You guys are in the empire business, so you necessarily have to expand. Not all things are for all people, so you’ll have some people who move on and some other people who will move in to replace them. Ten years from now, I want you guys to be sitting on thrones atop a pile of skulls from lesser podcasts that have faded away over the years. Bien Hecho.

Jim and Alexis have good chemistry and the show is as informative and insightful as any other Bald Move podcast. Really enjoying it, keep up the good work!

Sorry guys. I’m a Bald Move club member of 5+ years who’s listened through multiple shows’ coverage multiple times. And as a woman in a male-centered fan base I hate to say this, but I must: I’m sure Alexis is a nice person, but she and Jim together simply don’t have the presence/energy to pull this off. Never thought a married couple could flirt awkwardly before this. Sad end for Bald Move’s presence in a universe where they cut their teeth and rose to fame. A rare misstep by these guys.

I missed A. Ron at first but after a few shows I completely forgot about him. You and Alexis are awesome! You guy’s banter is so adorable but also thought provoking. Would love to get more shows from you two!!!

Loved your Saul podcast UNTIL this season. Plenty of others agree for same reason. Bring back A Ron or just forget it. Shouldn’t even bother broadcasting. Shame you guys couldn’t finish the final season together.

I’m a big Bald Move Fan, but you guys are just phoning it in. Alexis is very hard to listen to. If this was a chore, you should have skipped it.

I will not personally attack either host but just say the podcast has lost some of its energy and intellectual analysis - as if the hosts are just doing this because they have to and not because they want to and it interferes with the quality of the podcast. They are missing obvious, important details that are crucial to the plot and character arcs and I can only assume it's because they are not putting in the time and research to really produce the deep dive this show deserves. That's fine, I get it, and my disappointment over it does not discount the hundreds of hours of Bald Move content that I have and will continue to listen to; I hope BM will come through for the audience as we reach the ending of BCS.

I have enjoyed the Bald Move universe for a few years now. Jim & A.Ron together are what keep me subscribed. Jim and Alexis just don’t have that same chemistry that keeps me coming back.

Guys, in your analysis of season 6 episode three, the glass shard that Nacho uses to cut the zip tie, was taken by him out of the trash can in Gus’ trailer. It was from the water glass that Gus accidentally knocked over in the previous episode because he’s off his game.

They take too long to make a point and I cannot stand Alex’s voice.

Alexis the worst thing to ever happen in Bald Move history. She has completely ruined this podcast. I have listened to easily thousands of hours of podcast audio and she has the worst opinions and analysis i’ve ever seen - by far. Being excited to hear the premium takes from Aron and instead hearing, “..and i’m Alexis” at the beginning is worse than getting a cancer diagnosis. I recommend you run away from this feed as fast as possible. Shameful. Disgusting. Appalling.

After Nacho eats his last supper and Gus and Mike leave the trailer …Nacho looks in the garbage .. the camera films through the glass in the garbage up at Nachos face as if looking through a kaleidoscope .. It is from the glass that Gus broke in the previous episode. The opening scene thunderstorm.. foreboding Nacho’s demise.. the rain sad tears.. the blue flower a memorial and marker of Nacho’s place of death/grave .. the shard of glass also memorial and marks Nacho’s place of death.

This podcast was great from seasons 1-3 or so, but season 5 brings aboard someone named “Alexis.” I certainly had high hopes but they were soon dashed by her odd propensity to shoehorn her political views into Better Call Saul. I do not care what your fringe political views are (whether they be right or in this case far to the left), that’s not why I’m listening to a better call Saul podcast. Another note here, pick a lane, either do spoilers or don’t do spoilers. They promised up front they would only talk about the first episode of season 5, however Alexis then went on to spoil a key detail about Gus and Nacho that occurs in episode 2. It’s totally fine if you want to do spoilers, but don’t tell us you aren’t going to spoil the next episode and then proceed to spoil it 10 min later. Sloppy editing not to take that out as well.

I’m sorry, Alexis’ analysis is not intelligent nor entertaining. She ruined a very good podcast.

I came for the BCS review but after each podcast episode I was left feeling like I attended a course on feminism. Alexis clearly has an issue with patriarchy and it shows.

Any chance we can get a season 6 preview?!?!

Love the BM duo, and have followed and tuned in for years! They have a unique chemistry and this is the sole reason I tune in. They’re so insightful and I loved watching BCS for the first time and following up with their Pod. 3 stars because there is no preparation for A-Ron leaving (no offense to Alex at all, she’s sweet!) I feel like Jim and A-Ron have such investment into these characters, in turn, we have an investment in them! Give the people what they want :) BALDMOVEFOREVER!

As with other Bald Move coverage seasons 1-4 are great. A-Ron does a great job of carrying the dialogue with insightful analysis, intuitive connections to other shows, movies, pop culture, etc, and has an interesting personality that sometime veers off topic. Jim does a good job of reeling him in and playing devils advocate. Season 5 is just boring. Jim doesn’t have the personality to carry a show with a co-host that isn’t edgy. The banter went from fun in the first few seasons to cutesy, agree on everything, thing only couples find funny blahness in season 5. I think Jim and Alexis give good effort they just aren’t built to have an interesting podcast together.

I listened to the first few episodes of season 5 podcasts and was totally threw off by the host change. No offense to Alex but she just doesn’t have the same effects and chemistry Aron did. At the same time I was getting kinda sick of Aron’s constant rant and nitpicking of the show’s pacing in season 4 so I understand why he dropped the show. I have listened to all their podcasts from BB to BCS and it’s just a shame how things ended up.

Just finished a rewatch of Better Call Saul along with this podcast. Alexis is simply not good. Her analysis is often way off base. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. And the dynamic between Jim and her is nauseating. It’s like a dad trying to encourage a kid when they start to play a sport even when it’s very obvious the kid has no talent. Please bring back A-ron for the final season. I would hate for Alexis to ruin an otherwise fantastic show.

Love these guys- the only downside to listening to older seasons is that I’m not able to send in relevant feedback. Happy to send in my share for the club so they can continue to put out excellent content.

Y’all are great, especially Alexis. I don’t fancy too many female podcast hosts but She is the best...I identify with her demeanor and humor. Cheers🍻 Please have her join the next (and hopefully final) season of Westworld, you all could use more female perspective on that show.

Jim and Alexa are great. Love their personalities and deep dives into this show. Both have funny subtle senses of humor. Enjoy this combo of hosts just as much as when it was Jim and A-ron

Not the same podcast I once looked forward to each week. I’ve stuck through the entire fifth season of Saul along with Jim and Alexis and now at the end may I please ask for the original Bald Move duo to take back the reins for the final season next year? I applaud the devotion put forth by this effort but was received more as an unsuccessful experiment by the hosts than a move in the right direction. This did not bring nearly the same satisfaction as hearing banter and insight between jim and a ron. Not even close. This made me cringe most throughout and the consistent cutesy tone of the couple set me outside of the focus of each week’s episode.
