Dean is a great guy and a fantastic comedian with a golden podcast. I’m very close in age with him and have so many similar tastes. I love every episode of this podcast. Discovered him at the Comedy Store the day before the Covid shutdown. He had me laughing nonstop. Saw him here in Santa Rosa last year, and opening up for Bill Burr. Always funny. Check him out if you get a chance, he doesn’t disappoint. Keep on rocking my friend.

Dean has been in music industry for 25 years and has so many great stories and RnR friends he’s met along the way. Too many great episodes with great musicians over every genre from John Mayer to Jakob Dylan to Les Claypool.

I first discovered Dean listening to Dark Fonzie when he co-hosted “Dark Fonzie” with Marc Maron. If you’re on the hunt for a podcast that effortlessly combines humor, insights, and 70’s, 80’s and 90’s nostalgia, look no further than “Let There Be Talk.” I love pop culture especially the 70’s 80’s and 90’s. I love hearing references to things I've completely forgot about. Its comforting and brings back great memories of a better time. Recently flew down from Bozeman to see Burr in Salt Lake, and Dean’s opener killed. Looked up Dean’s pod the next day and the weekly pods are must listen to shows. His understanding of arts and human intellect is most excellent. Keep tickling my earholes.

Love the show, been listening for about three years. Dean has a lot of passions he talks about on the show but his love of music is what I always related to. I enjoy listening while I work as a route driver delivering cakes and bread's to grocery stores. Keep up the great work Dean.

I have been listening to Dean religiously for years. Although I hate Mondays, the fact the Let there be talk episodes are released on Mondays make it the best. He is a true pro. Let there be talk is my favorite podcast because of the host Dean Delray. I first started listening because a friend sent me his rock star interviews. When I ran out of those I started listening to the watch and denim episodes. At first I thought “I don’t care about clothing” and next thing I know I’m completely engrossed in the interview because Dean tells such a compelling story. Dean is hands down the best interviewer around. He gets his guest to open up and relax and really talk about stuff like people.

Here’s what I like about Dean…He’s 6 years younger than me, so he’s like my cool little brother. His interview style is laidback, but super fun and informative. It may sound cliche, but I think Dean would be a great dude to just hang out with.

Best podcaster out there!!!

The show has been in my weekly podcast rotation for years. It’s nice to always have the weekly check in with Dean, and see what he’s listening to, what he’s watching. Cool places that he’s been. I’m younger than him, and not as big of a music guy, so it’s fun to hear him talk about music and concerts, and he’s turned me onto a number of “new” old bands. Whether he’s talking to a guest, or manning the ship solo, it’s always a fun lesson!

Dean’s wonderful personality and great rock stories keep me coming back. Love ya DD’!

Once again Dean Delray puts out a perfect podcast. His description of the horrors of IKEA and parents that refuse to parent is spot on and terrifying. Looking forward to his children’s book Gertie battles the Swedish meatballs.

Listening to this podcast brings me back to my days in San Francisco in the late eighties through out the ninties. The bands that Dean referances such as curveball a nd Liquid Sky reminds me of an unbelievable diverse music scene that I was privledged to experience. Listening to Dean describe this time through his hilarious stories makes my day!
