Used to listen but she’s a hateful person

As a POC who she claims to defend, I’m appalled. Will not be listening to wave podcasts anymore

Taylor Nolan is never able to see the hypocrisy in her behavior. When other ppl were being cancelled she expected them to make a video apology. When she’s cancelled for saying much worse, she uploads some text… you can do better. This is just one example of many…

All of these hateful one-star reviews are appalling. I never write reviews and I don’t even listen to Taylor’s podcast regularly (just too busy), but I follow her on Instagram and have listened to a decent amount of episodes. I appreciate someone who’s willing to talk about hard and untalked-about topics. Thank you for your honesty and your genuineness, Taylor. You are seen and appreciated.

The fact that you still are placing blame for your hateful tweets is unreal! You didn’t get called out because you “spoke up” for something, you got called out because what you said was hateful and wrong! You lack self awareness and honesty need to stop blaming everyone else for what you said and felt! What a slap in the face to everyone you targeted in your hateful speech to try and justify it and not take responsibility for it by blaming others

I don’t agree with all Taylor’s views, as it should be. Individuals should be able to have their own critical thinking, I strongly support her hard work and education. It makes me rethinking and modify at times. I am a fan since day 1 and very proud of your professional growth Thanks for all you do.

While I don’t agree with all of Taylor’s personal decisions recently (and had complicated feelings about the recent 3 part Q&A), I do think that this is an incredibly thoughtful and well curated collection of conversations. Taylor clearly puts an incredible amount of effort into amplifying a variety of voices and exploring often taboo topics on a mainstream platform. Ultimately there can be multiple truths—her podcast can reflect exceptional thoughtfulness and her actions can be imperfect. I appreciate this podcast for all the learning it has brought into my life over the past two years. Taylor: you are appreciated and seen ❤️

The latest episodes were tough to listen to. I was listening in hopes that taylor would take accountability and potentially...apologize. But she still just feels sorry for herself and angry that the tweets resurfaced.

Taylor is racist, fatphobic, homophobic, and an antisemite. She refuses to take accountability in the way that she demands of others who have said or done racist things. Don’t listen to this woman gaslight her audience even more.

She’s hurt a lot of people and refuses to apologize or acknowledge it. After she would berate people online for the same things she did. She’s a hypocrite and should have a platform. Classic narcissist

I NEVER leave negative reviews, but Taylor clearly hates Jews and is xenophobic, antisemetic, anti disabilities and the lust goes on and on. By the way, Arabs serve in the Israeli government and there's a HuGe black population in Israel. She's learned absolutely nothing and pretends to know everything. Girl, this is nothing go do with your race - it has to do with your hatred.

In the most recent episode of the podcast, you STILL refuse to take accountability that you force everyone else to take on. The way you speak about what you’ve done says you still victimize yourself. Yes you have address it 5 times but NO, you have not taken accountability. The excuses. The excuses. I’m done. You had so much time and still blame the way your words were found instead of taking responsibility for saying them. To this day: “it was 2011.”

You can tell she is convinced she’s doing altruistic work. She’s very passionate. She doesn’t have much self awareness though. She comes across so arrogant and obtuse, it’s hard to listen to. She was cruel during the bachelor and she’s continued to exemplify the same cruelty, and by the way to only people it’s trendy to be hateful towards. She exudes so much negative energy.

Taylor is the worst

She doesn’t deserve a platform. She’s a hateful, arrogant, hypocrite.

There was a reason you were as you say “cancelled”. You’re latest episode shows you have not changed, you are as bigoted now as you were when you insulted every group of people in existence. You not only lack any credibility but you are completely ignorant of the issues and bringing your father on doesn’t necessarily mean he understands the issues either. I don’t know why you’re allowed to have a podcast to spew hateful rhetoric and misinformation.

I truly was a fan of this podcast and loved the honesty and authenticity but I just don’t feel that anymore. I can’t trust someone who once had such hurtful words that really affected me. To listen to a podcast, I need someone who is truly authentic and I can relate to. I like topics that I can relate to with a person that I trust is a professional. This podcast has none of those things anymore. The concept is such a great one but needs a host who is truly willing to TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING. In the beginning she said she would do a podcast addressing the tweets but instead she wrote about it which doesn’t fully address it. It’s full of hypocrisy and blame. Wave Podcast and Taylor PLEASE create the episode you said you would. It’s completely your choice but I hope you choose to make it right. I feel the need to continue to speak out against this to help the communities you hurt feel heard. I just feel sad every time I check for one! It seems like business as usual and none of it feels right.

Her “apology” was nothing but excuses and “but I did the work”....if someone else had apologized like that she would have clowned them. Take away her platform.

She deletes the comments of Asian people who politely tell her how her words are harmful while simultaneously posting stories of the Atlanta violence and wondering how that could happen. It rubbed me the wrong way when she had a series of only mixed black Bachelor contestants and then told everyone she had all mixed contestants on her pod. Now I see she doesn’t recognize anyone unless they are exactly like herself. Additionally she posts that we should feel badly for her because, due to people criticizing her hateful Twitter activity, her amygdala has been on overdrive this past year (LOL); yet her advice to herself if she followed her own Twitter posts would literally be to kill herself. What kind of human is this?!

I generally liked Taylor and this podcast and thought it educated people on important social justice topics (even though a POC shouldn’t have to put in the labor of educating white people.) That being said, I can no longer support someone who shows a lack of accountability and empathy when questioned and held accountable for their bigoted past (some of which targeted my group.) I would have been willing to forgive her had she shown humility, given a sincere apology to each group she hurt, outlined clear next steps holding herself accountable, and listened to clear feedback from those who were hurt by her actions. However, a host who continues to center herself and gaslight people by claiming she kept the tweets up because they were “part of her journey” but never addressed them on her own merit is very ego-centric. Her actions speak much louder than her words. Right now she has lost all credibility for me and doesn’t deserve to be respected as a champion of the Social Justice Movement when she doesn’t meet the standards she sets for others. I may reconsider my view of her when her actions start matching her words, but I’m doubtful that’ll take place. I will also condemn those who only chose to bash Taylor for her bigoted past and didn’t hold white contestants within the franchise accountable for racism. Those people have internalized racism and take joy when someone who they disagree with “falls from grace.” Wave podcast network please hold Taylor accountable by dropping her-she deserves the exact same consequences as Chris Harrison. There should be no double standard as far as racism and other forms of prejudice go.

The host of this podcast calls someone a “f*g Asian”, she said that black women are loud, and that fat women should not wear bikinis or revealing clothing. It is RICH that she has a podcast lecturing people in wokeness. Taylor has hijacked the well-meaning progressive movement because she has found that as a natural bully, she’s found a a socially acceptable way to bully via the woke movement. If you’d like to feel belittled, listen to this podcast! Taylor will make sure you feel bad about yourself that you’re not progressive enough. She does not care about enlightening or educating her listeners - she simply needs an outlet to direct her condescension.

The content of this podcast is pretty good but she says “umm” every other sentence. It’s especially annoying because of the way she says it. She’s like “uuuaaaammmm”. She draws it out in a way that’s really grating on the ears. I guess this is pretty nitpicky but it’s the truth

I can’t listen to Taylor “Let’s Talk About It” Nolan since she’s refused to take accountability and speak openly about her hateful past & present. Taylor’s apologies all fall flat, and at this point she deserves no respect as a therapist, activist, or influencer.

Doesn’t deserve a platform to spread her hate.
