Had to give this four stars just because Mitz is annoying most of the time, other than that I like the podcast.

Love the pod except when mitz starts whining and moaning about nonsense. It’s a shame he’s too dumb to understand the JJK power system. It’s not that complicated. Sounds like u just don’t like anime buddy

I had to stop listening cause Mitsugi sounds really bitter all the time about most of the things he talks about. I feel sorry for him. I cant listen to the show with him on. His tone is not interesting or charming and brings down the mood of the show. Ill have to look elsewhere ✌🏼

If you like anime you’re gonna want to listen to this podcast. A great community, great hosts, and just great experience overall. All hosts have different tastes, personalities and perspectives which makes the show so great! Recently subscribed to the additional exclusive episodes and I’m loving it so far. 10/10 do recommend.

I've been listening to this podcast for over two years now. I look forward to this every week. It makes my 70-80 minute commute pass by very quickly. My interest in anime had been fading as I entered my 40's recently. This podcast has renewed my interest in anime. I've found new anime series to watch based on the recommendations I've gotten from this podcast. Keep this podcast going!!!!

Starting watching a little before episode 550 and I can say it’s one of the best out there. I listen to them all the time while driving for Amazon. Gets me through my day and gives me more anime to watch.

The flow of the show is terrible for one. They don’t seem very prepared and their opinions are very biased based. I wonder if they even like anime at this point….

This anime has perpetuated my anime obsession and the discord is a phenomenal place to discuss topics that are relevant to current news and discussions. I love the host’s disparities and topical content.

I don’t know why but when mits (meets?) says ma ma ma mail bag in the end of the mail bag introduction I visualize him doing the T pose.

Just started listening to the podcast a couple months ago. I love the humor and takes. The host are great and have a great way of steering the conversation to interesting ideas. I recommend this to any anime fan. Thank you for making my workday go faster. Lol

The show is really good! I really enjoy listening to the banter and the interesting anime recommendations while I work. The only downside which is minus a star for me. The fact that there is not more pancake in the show, which is a horrible travesty.

One of the best anime podcast.

I’m a new listener and have been for about a month now. It’s nice to hear different points of view about Anime and it has sparked interest in watching some that I’ve never considered before. I enjoy the conversations and am even going to join the discord soon. It seems like a fun community of anime lovers and I’m excited to keep listening each week.

Most of the takes the host have are atrocious to say the least. The discord is also not as fun as they hype it to be. Most of the people within the discord have very little knowledge regarding anime all the while having horrendous opinions. Some of the greatest shows and stories the host have yet to watch but they claim they know better so they judge shows they haven’t even seen negatively because why not? It’s easier to be edgy than to be truthful. They only accept mailbags from the same sets of people and the recommendations they make are some of the most off the wall recommendations a person could possibly make

They only really talk about anime that no one really knows about. It reminds me of kids and high school that think the most popular things ppl like are lame and way to cool for it. Also how have you never seen dragon ball or Naruto. And you think demon slayer is meh? I don’t understand I’m sure some ppl like it just wasn’t for me

Is your Life/Anime ratio balanced? Do you like anime just fine but find yourself out pursuing other interests and hobbies? If you answered yes to either of those questions you need this podcast ASAP. Seriously though, All of the hosts are super likeable and it feels like sitting down with a bunch of friends that you have never met. In addition, the hosts are very knowledgable and bring a diverse set of interests/tastes to the show. They do not only cover the "popular" series that everyone else is already talking about but lesser known series and older classics as well. Their criticism (positive and negative) are quite specific and they will often look for something to like even in shows they really hated. They are also honest in their feedback and are willing to discuss what they like/dislike about various series even if fandom considers this heresy. That said - they do not fall into the trap of disparaging everything as some do - to be edgy or whatever. (That said - I can not genuflect at the Pope's moe-crushing alter.). You can tell they have a deep passion for this art form and the types of stories that will be told. Also there is not much that is cuter than hearing Mandi go on a tear about a manga, anime, or even just a collectable that she loves. One warning - have a notepad nearby or the app open on your phone while you listen. You will want to write down many of the titles they mention. Also - your "to view" list is going to get really long.

Love this show. It has definitely increased my anime addiction. Do a lot of driving for work so working through the backlog currently in the 300s but have seen clips from new episodes so I know we add Chiaki, Kimiko, and Kazuo to the list of people gone with one of my favorites Kram which breaks my heart. Still looking forward to catching up though. Thank you for all the good work!

I have been watching anime since dragon ball z when I was a kid, and still love to watch it! These guys review new shows so I can get an idea of what show to start next, they put alot of time into each segment and make me laugh. Great podcast overall!

I’ve been listening for the past few months and already listen to a good chunk of the podcast. I don’t have many friends to talk anime with so being able to hear others opinions and reviews of shows is perfect for my work days! Love you guys and look forward to making my anime addition worse!

I’ve been listening for about two years now and am well past addicted at this point. The hosts give their honest opinions on the shows they watch and why they do or don’t like them. I love it because even if I don’t always agree with their takes on shows, I frequently find things to try I never would have given a chance. All of the hosts have their own personalities and they clash often leading to interesting dialogue and discussions about all sorts of things. They all like anime for different reasons and you’ll often find them pointing out things about a show you didn’t notice until they call it out. If you just want glowing reviews of the popular anime of the season, you’re not going to like this one. You’re going to get real opinions from people who have their own tastes in anime on this podcast and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Each combination was well informed and well rounded, consistent and sometimes risky, as well as unique and entertaining. Been listening to this for a long time and has been a consistent in my line up for going on runs. Hosts have changed around a few times but overall I love listening to everyone. Usually helps me weed out the anime I shouldn’t even bother with as I get older and have less time. 5 jellybeans out of 5.

Mitsugi’s taste is a bit old and blinded by nostalgia, Mason prioritizes short series or ovas and likes slice of life too much, and Caroline is just too new to anime to have meaningful comparisons or opinions. Chiaki was the best thing about this podcast and she’s gone now, so I give you guys 3 longer shonen you’ll never consider watching out of 5.

I absolutely hate apple and only use an iPhone (occasionally) because my job gave me one. This should show you how good this podcast is because I went out of my way to figure out how to give them a 5 star review on a phone I rarely use with an IOS I despise. The hosts are hysterical and Pancake (Mitsugi’s fiancé) honestly tops even them when she makes an appearance. They are a touch hyper critical but I think it’s a benefit (very easy to give the popular stuff top marks to gain easy favor). Whether you agree with them on any given point or not is almost irrelevant as they are very entertaining and the community they have fostered is truly wonderful. I can say I am proud to be an Anime Addict!

One of the best anime podcasts around in terms of production quality, variety of content, and hot-takery. They won’t always love what you love but they usually (USUALLY) will have a good reason for it, plus the Freudian interplay between the trio is great, between the Id of the bald guy, the Superego of the Weeb hipster (weebster) guy and the Ego of the girl next podcast trying to keep it all sane. Plus they’re really active on discord so if you hate what they say you can tell them to their digital faces (but keep it civil) and in return they’ll interact with you and make you just a little bit less lonely in this crumbling world.

You guys are the first podcast I’ve ever listen to in my life. I found you guys because I got tired to listening to music at work and decided to look up best anime podcast. So I started on episode one and I’m on episode 111. You guys are amazing I work from 6-4 and I listen to you guys for the full 10 hours. I’m glad you guys have so much content I can listen to and help pass the time. You guys are amazing keep up the good work.

I recently found this podcast, and immediately loved it. I listen to podcasts to make doing the dishes and cleaning up easier. The connection that they have with each other is amazing, and they all have great takes. I highly recommend checking them out for all things anime. Keep up the great work👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Been listening for like 2 months and they are easily the best anime podcast out there. All the host are different and great, even if you dont relate to one the other you most likely will. Their audio quality its perfect too i have no complaints cant wait for more episodes.

A great space to be an anime fan!

This isn’t the place for a debate or a rant, so I’ll keep this as short as possible. I enjoy the anime community because it allows people from around the world and with every imaginable background a chance to come together and talk about this amazing art form. It seems like lately the show has involved a lot of disparaging remarks towards people with different views than the host. So, idk if I’m just paying attention to it more as I’m older, or if it is in the show more, but I’m out. I’ll give it two stars for the many good shows of the past, but I think it’s time to find something different.

This has tons of quality content ,great audio and fun fan interactions on the show. What else could you want? The hosts all have their own unique views on anime and it shows when they state their opinions. Anytime they disagree with each other they hear the others out and don’t rain on anyone’s parade. I never find myself agreeing exclusively with one host but that’s part of the fun. :P They have a great vibe and you can tell they’re great friends. Ive been watching anime for well over 20 years and I’d say that this is a good podcast for anime addicts new and old!

Couldnt get through my first episode. They took 30 minutes to introduce they’re scoring system for rating anime’s, and overall just not a fan of the hosts.
