    Best interviews by kind people
What a find! I stumbled on this podcast when I went searching for interviews with Mike Flanagan and wow…such thoughtful questions and one of the best interview podcasts out there in the horror universe.

Not digging the weird “Morning ZOO!” vibe
I’m a big fan of horror, and consequently of most horror themed podcasts, but I am not a fan of this weirdly out of place vibe.the whole thing is packaged with this out of place rock radio “wacky” morning DJ vibe, or like sports talk radio. From the opening seconds when you are blasted with booming bass, electric guitar, rock radio style intro, to the main host using that fake, bombastic, “radio guy” voice that is typically reserved for talk radio, game shows, and used car commercials, and throwing in very rehearsed sounding wacky “banter” the entire thing has this very fake, manufactured “SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!” plastic feel to it that I’m not digging at all. It doesn’t feel at all like a horror podcast. It feels like a bunch of people who aren’t into horror, talking about it extremely superficially, because they are getting paid to by Bloody Disgusting, and all wishing they were Joe Rogan …Meh

    Hosts with the Most
I was lucky enough to meet the Boo Crew at the horror convention Midsummer Scream and I just have to emphasize how incredibly friendly they were - just as you would imagine from listening to their excellent and entertaining podcast. It feels good knowing there are such friendly, thoughtful, and welcoming voices in the horror community. Thanks Boo Crew, keep doing you!

    My favorite podcast!
The podcast medium doesn’t get any better than this. The Boo Crew features delightful interviews with the best and brightest of the horror genre. Our bewitching hosts create a relaxed atmosphere for their guests with well-researched questions that lead to engaging conversations that could only be accomplished by knowledgeable genre fans. My favorite segment of the show is Horror Homework. I can’t tell you how many horror gems would have flown by me in the dark night if it weren’t for the shining recommendations of Lauren, Trevor, and Leone. Most importantly, our meritorious hosts are not afraid to keep it real with their fans about the ups and downs of their personal lives. This openness allows us listeners to feel less like fans of a podcast and more like members of a frightful family. Sweet screams! Charles from Louisiana

High quality production compared to other genre podcasts, makes for an easy listening experience. Keep it coming. Great job Boo Crew! 💀

    Boo Crew saved my life
The Boo Crew is an amazing podcast. They have some of the best interviews and stories I’ve heard in all my years of podcast listening. When I was at a very low and dark period in my life where nothing seemed to matter and I forgot what it was to enjoy something, I discovered this podcast. In many ways, it brought me back to life. Listening to these guys and hearing their honesty and passion about all things horror and life in general helped me rediscover enjoyment in my own life and now I don’t miss a single episode. From the minute I start work to the minute I clock out, I listen to new and old episodes and it makes work flyby with a smile on my face. Thank you boo crew for all you do.

Funny and Passionate Horror Fans Deliver Stellar Podcast!
I’ve been listening to the Boo Crew for years and they just keep getting better. Trevor, Lauren and Leo are highly knowledgeable and passionate about the horror genre and make you feel like you’re a part of a conversation with your fellow horror-loving friends! They are welcoming and highly complimentary of all their guests. Trevor’s guest introductions are the stuff of legends. Whether they are conducting interviews, talking the newest horror film, or talking about their personal lives, they are always personable and lovely. 5 stars!

    My Favorite Podcast
The Boo Crew Podcast is a delightful gem in the world of horror and genre entertainment. Hosted by a group of passionate and knowledgeable enthusiasts, the podcast is a must-listen for anyone who loves all things spooky and macabre. I freaking love them!!! What sets the Boo Crew apart from other podcasts is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Listening to the hosts talk about their favorite horror films and TV shows is like hanging out with old friends who share your interests. But what really stands out about the Boo Crew is the depth of their knowledge and appreciation for the horror genre. Whether they're discussing classic horror movies or the latest releases, the hosts bring a wealth of insights and analysis to the table. They clearly love what they do and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with their audience. But finally can you really call yourself a genre fan if you don’t listen to The Boo Crew?

    Favorite Horror Podcast!
Listening to the Boo Crew is like hanging out with friends and discussing all of your favorite new horror movies, old horror movies, comics, and what you’re excited about that’s soon to be released aaand even what didn’t do it for you. I’m currently restoring my old(haunted?) house & the Boo Crew is right there with me, keeping me entertained and giving me a good laugh now and then!

    Keep ‘em coming!
This podcast is highly enjoyable, and I like the juxtaposition of morbid/horror content with the senses of humor these genuinely sweet-natured hosts bring to the table. They have such a thoughtful approach to each guest that every episode feels like a love letter to each topic they discuss. Very knowledgable and well-prepared. There was maybe only one time that I found myself shouting to the monitor because the name of a fantastic sci-fi film, a personal favorite of mine, had slipped their minds. (It was “Under the Skin”, guys! lol)

    Validation
In my life, being a horror fan can feel like a lonely road - The Boo Crew makes it feel less so. As others have mentioned, your watchlist will explode with quality movies as you become a regular listener. There's also something special about how your favorite actors are lauded during their introductions and interviews. And if you have any interest in Horror, it is guaranteed that your faves have been on this show. Knowledgable, informed, massively entertaining and ocassionally hilarious, this podcast has quckly become my most cherished.

    Favorite podcast ever!!
First, I just want to say thank you to the boo crew for making this podcast. It’s my #1 podcast of all time. You can clearly tell that they have a passion for horror and it truly makes me feel great about being a horror fanatic. They have all your horror needs. From interviewing celebrities, to talking about mazes, and discussing movies. I have been listening to this podcast for months and always get excited when a new episode comes out. I enjoy how engaging they are with their guests and how natural the conversations feel. I met Leo at monsterpalooza and he was the nicest person ever. We talked about delusion and guests that I enjoyed listening to. I can’t wait to meet Lauren and Trevor at midsummer scream. You guys are the best and never stop doing this podcast.

    My Go To Podcast
I love this podcast. It feels like you are listening to friends hanging out and talking to some of the most important voices in horror. They are fun, excited and knowledgeable about each guest and their contribution to the genre. I learn insider details that I would never know without this podcast. Trevor, Lauren and Leo are incredible and works together seamlessly. I love the “first experience with horror” and “did you keep anything from the movie” questions. Trevor’s intros are legendary. Can’t wait for more of all they have to offer; you should should join the Crew, you will love it.

    Great team
I love this show (especially Trevor) Keep up the great work!
  • KingChandler
    Love it but...
I have 3 minor issues. I wish Lauren expanded her questions beyond “did you take any props home?” and “has anything paranormal happened to you?” Trevs delivery gets robotic at times and the pauses in his sentences seem very forced. And lastly, the amount of CLEAR audio cuts are brutal and take away from the conversation sounding organic. Still giving it 5 stars because I thoroughly enjoy it and will continue to listen despite my little gripes.

    BEST PODCAST EVER!!!!
You don’t have to love horror to love The Boo Crew. I’ve been a fan of this show for a long time. The hosts are all great and the guest list is insane! They are a must listen! Seriously can’t get enough!!!!
  • ArtzN117
    You’ve inspired me...
I rarely, if ever, write a review; however, after listening to your podcast I am just in awe and thought I would share. During the intro you played another review which remarked that your into was too long. After skipping ahead for OVER 17 minutes I have to agree- WOW- that’s too long. I only listened to this episode because your guest was Bailey Sairian (sp), but Since I’m always on the hunt for a good podcast, so I gave the whole episode a shot. 17 minutes- too much! I am sincerely happy that you have a fan base, because new listeners like myself, would be (and am) turned off. This review, much like your intro, has become much too long. Best of luck to you all! P.S. Female host (for love of sweet 8lb 6oz Jesús in a manger... reduce your usage of the word “like”)

    Spooktacular
This show is made for horror die hards, like myself, and for anyone who is just a fan of the genre. I love hearing their recommendations to movies I have been meaning to get to, or to ones I have never even heard of! The in depth interviews with actors, directors, writers, special effects people, or just each other is absolutely incredible! Trevors fantastic introductions inspire me to become famous just so I could make it on the show to get introduced by him. Keep spooking and the great content coming!
  • bivman2024
    Ok podcast
I respect their love of horror but Trevor is the only one who I feel like has a grasp on this podcast thing. Lauren sounds like she’s reading from a piece of paper even when she’s not and Leo sounds like it’s his first podcast ever even tho theyre like 200 episodes in at this point. They also laugh waaay to hard at the guests jokes which very annoying. They do get good guests which is cool. Other than that it’s ok.
  • Oldschoolbizo
    Can’t get enough!!
How am I only now finding this??? I’ve been binge listening from the begging. This podcast gets me through the murdering long hours of work.. thanks guys!

    Background noise
The first episode I listened to had so much extra background noise. So annoying to listen to.

    More horror with less bore!
From the 3 amazingly talented hosts to the fan throbbing guest list, this podcast has and is everything! Trevor comes in with a warm welcoming intro that makes all of us fall in love with the guest even more. Something only a single parented child could understand. Will you be my dad? The horror movie recommendations are spot on and have lead me to some of my favorite horror films to date and the audio quality itself is enough to make any podcast listener have a voluntary ear-gasm. Their love for horror bleeds true artistry and their professionalism and enthusiasm are enough to leave you wanting more! Wether you’re a fan of horror or not, their complex and deep diving conversations will intrigue you to maybe give it another try. I also love their honesty on the subject of parenting, wether they had to turn a movie off because it reminded them of their own or the fact that they couldn’t wait to get away from the kiddos by attending another day at the expo hall. I also love hearing Lauren ask about what props the director and actor kept once production wrapped. Also, who could forget Leone from EEEAAGGLLEEE ROOCCKKK!!!??? The dudes movie recommendations are so deep that even Lauren and Trevor have to catch up on their viewings! This trio of geniuses are as honest as they come and do the horror genre a favor by bringing light and inspiration into the genre and podcasting network. From the bottom of my bloody heart, Thank you!!
  • FMGrrrrr
Like a really good morning show that likes to talk about horror!
I tried them out because I’m a huge Bailey Sarian fan. I decided to hit subscribe and I have no regrets they are fun and interesting I’m really know their genre. Even if I didn’t like her I probably would listen great dynamic

    Wow wow wow
I’ve been listening since Josh Hasty was in representing his film Candy Corn. The Boo Crew has become a part of my daily routine. Every day when I drive to work and I see a new episode I am instantly reminded my car ride is not long enough. Listening to fans of the genre that truly love it is a breath of fresh air. Keep up the amazing work and just know that you make so many of our days just a little bit better... and a whole lot spookier!

Read like or read by Trevor
The Boo Crew is a 5-star podcast made up of 3 supernova hosts all of whom deliver a unique blend of knowledge and expertise that can only be found in mortals who immerse themselves in all that is gloriously horror. From Trevor and his mesmerizing adjective filled introductions of each guest that bewitch them and leave us transfixed and craving to hear more about their charmed lives just as a vampire craves the blood of innocent souls, to Lauren, Trevor’s best half and super-mom of 4 wonderfully blessed children. She brings a sweet and enchanting touch to the crew. Her perpetual love for all things horror is that of an amaranth that propels her to keep their home in a state of eternal Halloween that would bedazzle anyone who crosses the threshold of the Shand Manor. Leone brings a mellifluous tone to the trio, adding meticulously thought out comments and asking scrupulous questions of their guests that conscientiously exemplifies his love and appreciation for their craft. These three will go down in history as the podcast that draws horror fans together as a beacon draws the miller moths unto itself. Trevor must not be beguiled by the thought that his inspirational and encouraging introductions should cease. They must continue because they uplift and revive the spirits of those he speaks of. As a small-time horror filmmaker myself, I can only dream of one day hearing him take the narrative of my life, a monochrome still image, and magically transform into a vivid technicolor feature. One day. ––Earl Martin

The lighter side of Horror Nerd-dom.
I stumbled into the Boo Crew via the Bloody Disgusting co-sign, and to my morbid delectation, this chummy power trio delivers some much appreciated levity during this era of perpetual doldrums. The real life, interpersonal relationships between the three is incredibly palpable, and lends to the jovial nature of the podcast. The interviews are well thought out and flow beautifully. Although the more extreme corners of Horror cinema aren’t explored too deeply, the variety of films/makers/actors is broad and informative. Well done, folks. Peter Tanski

Greatest podcast of all time! 👻
Confession time! I’ve been the biggest boo crew nerd since they had less than 10 episodes and here I am writing my first review years later. Such a fail on my part to not support in this small way! Trevor, Lauren, and Leo are my comfort zone! They have brought so much spooky happiness in my life when I need a little escape! And the coolest part, I had the pleasure of meeting them in real life at monsterpalooza and they are so genuinely nice and sweet! I tried cheating on you guys and listened to another horror podcast and I lasted 10 minutes! The boo crew has THE best quality sound, spooky voices, and upbeat vibe! I love you guys! Thank you for all your hard work! Here’s a “wooooo” for you guys!

I’m so stoked to see Ice Nine Kills getting the respect and recognition they deserve. Back to you guys, I look forward to hearing about the latest movies coming out or your guys recommendations. I feel as if I get that amazing experience of going to the video store and browsing to find the next hidden gem not only with your guests but the endless amount of options we get on shudder. I’ve always loved the genre but have found this new love since discover Boo Crew. Trevors guest intros are the stuff of legend! Every single one of the hosts are all amazing and I highly respect your opinions. Thank you guys for the entertainment, knowledge and sharing the love of horror each week. Entertainment to any Horror Kid
As a grown adult I still consider myself a Horror Kid, because I still geek out over anything dealing with the genre whether it be music movies or conventions and these guys do it justice and geek out just as much as I do. Now I don’t feel so alone that I’m now without horror conventions and theaters these guys and gal are able to give me the weekly fix I so desperately need. Thanks for all the great content and delivering horror knowledge to all the listeners.

By Far My Favorite Horror Podcast (and I’m subscribed to 11 horror podcast)
I was lucky enough to catch The Boo Crew very early on (before the podcast was even announced) when I randomly found their Instagram post of Drew Barrymore in Scream, and I haven’t stopped following ever since. They have the most diverse range of guest out of any horror podcast that I know of, which makes every new episode more and more exciting. Some of my favorite episodes are with Spencer Charnas, Michael Dougherty, Daniel Myrick, Richard Stanley, Greg Nicotero, and just recently Chino Moreno. I was born in ‘91 so discovering horror movies in the late 90’s and early 2000’s was tough, because unlike today horror wasn’t as celebrated, and my friends really never discussed it. Listening to Trevor, Lauren, and Leo every week makes me feel like I’m hanging out with the friends I wish I had 20 years ago, because they’re just as big of fans as I am. I also highly recommend subscribing to their Patreon as well, for bonus episodes and behind the scenes videos. Would love to see Eli Roth and/or Adam Green come on soon. Love you guys!

This podcast was a ✨great✨ discovery through the band Spiritbox’s interview. I’ve been out of the loop on horror stuff recently, so it’s great hearing about everything coming out and what’s coming up. Even the Horror Homework. I now have a long list of stuff to watch! Their interviews and 🔥killer intros🔥 are so good and enjoyable. Much love to you all 🖤 -Cody Jimenez

    Killer podcast
This show is AWESOME! Hello from Colorado! I wasn’t allowed to watch horror as a kid, and now I’m getting caught up by binge watching as much as possible. I’m totally addicted. One of my favorite parts of the shows is the horror homework, and I have watched some great flix based on the casts recommendations. I also love that they have interviewed musicians from some of my favorite bands. The interview with Maria Brink is one of my favorite episodes. Thank you all for a great show!

    Love this podcast!
Trevor, Lauren, and Leo are fantastic! They are all so like-able and have great chemistry on set together. The interview questions are meaningful, interesting, and unlike any I’ve heard before-these guys really do their research on their guests, which make the interviews very engaging and organic. I loved the episodes with Spencer Charnas and Magda. Thanks so much for your hard work and providing us horror junkies with an amazingly fun podcast to listen to!! -Cheyenne :)

    Those introductions though
By far the best horror podcast for interviews! First discovered you guys through Spencer Charnas. Love all the guests you guys have! We’re always giving you guys love and shout outs on our podcast. And can’t remember what episode it was but I had to stop it in the middle just to go listen to stabbing westward and have since then put them in my everyday playlist. I think Chris Hall needs to be a guest soon! Keep doing what you guys are doing. It’s perfection

I recently discovered this podcast and absolutely love it. Love the content of the show, the intro for each guest is epic. As a fan of metal music, it was because of you that I discovered Spiritbox. I’ve listened to prettty much every episode and my favorite is the one with Robert Englund and I think we all know why.
