I am so impressed by the quality of this show and how quickly my kids are learning Spanish because of it. The songs are simply amazing! My only critique of it would be that I find the Mrs. Elephant and Mr. Mouse storyline to be a little weird, but guess what, they’re my kids’ favorite part of the show - and this show is made for kids, not me! I think the creators know what they’re doing. :) Thank you, Evan and Vanessa!

As an American mom, raising two bilingual kiddos, I’m so glad that I found this podcast. I’ve been trying to help my children learn their dad‘s native tongue, but sometimes it’s hard and this podcast makes it really fun. I just turn it on when we’re in the car and a tedious trip to the supermarket suddenly becomes a fun Spanish lesson. Thank you!

I’m a former stay at home mom who recently began working again. This means having to bring my 3 year old on commutes to and from care. This was a tough transition for us seeing as she wasn’t used to being in the car so frequently for prolonged periods of time. Eat Your Spanish with Evan and Vanessa was a lifesaver! Within a single episode, my daughter was hooked and is excited to get in the car now because it means we get to listen and follow along with fun, educational lessons while tackling the inevitable traffic of our day. We just found this podcast, and my three children love it! Even though my oldest is fluent in Spanish, he still finds it enjoyable to listen to and follow along with. He does love the stories with Elephant and mouse. All the kids love to sing the songs. Thanks for making a Spanish learning podcast that is fun, interactive, and enjoyable.

I love how Evan and Vanessa tailor this podcast to children learning Spanish in a fun and memorable way. I really appreciate this app since I want to expose my daughter to as much Spanish as possible in her early years. The songs are catchy and helpful with having the English and Spanish together. They include Spanish in natural conversations to teach the grammar as well as vocabulary. Please keep it coming!

They do an incredible job of making the lessons engaging, accessible, and fun. I love the music and songs - it’s totally captivating for my kids. The only reason I dropped a star was because I wish they did more with the actual lessons, and way less of the characters. The Mr Mouse/ Mrs Elephant parts of each episode are just not as valuable or good as the songs and lessons, and seem like they take way more effort to produce. I’d love it if they put out more lessons, and put out the character stories separately/less frequently. Also the romance storyline between the characters is just 🙄cringe. So unnecessary and detracts from the overall experience. I’m sitting there with my three year old listening to kissy sounds between a mouse and an elephant, wondering why they feel a need to include all this. If they didn’t try to include 15 min of storytelling at the end I’ll bet they could double their output of actual lesson material. Is pretty much the only reason I didn’t subscribe to their patreon.

I speak Spanish and have tried forever to remember to introduce Spanish words to my littles, but I’m awful at remembering and reinforcing. We recently discovered this podcast and listen most days. My kids love it and have picked up more Spanish in the last couple of weeks than they ever did before. The format, games and music are perfect for little ones, even my 2 year old sings along. Love these guys!

Our five year-old daughter LOVES this podcast and she is learning so much Spanish (with a beautiful accent)! Listening to this allows us to go on long flights and drives, while she listens to episode after episode, while learning! And my partner and I love it, too. I am a Spanish-speaker, but learn new words here and there, and my partner is learning, too! Three cheers for Eat Your Spanish! It’s easy to comprehend now because my teacher often does grammar with us. Anyways… What’s your favorite color? My favorite is Pupúra claro and rosa!

Absolutely love this podcast. I’d say it’s for children anywhere from age 2-9 but truly for everyone because it’s so enjoyable for adults brushing up on Spanish and parents & caretakers, too! Evan and Vanessa are SO talented!

Evan and Vanessa are so sweet, just warms my heart. Love the approach, the stories and the games - I would recommend this podcast even to adults who are completely new to Spanish and don’t mind some silliness.

The songs are catchy, the vocabulary is simple. My kids really liked this. I love the idea of teaching kids a foreign language at a young age. The mouse & elephant are fun characters! Unfortunately I can’t recommend this to as many friends since Evan and Vanessa introduce the concept of same-sex couples in at least two different podcasts. So if that’s something you prefer to teach your young child yourself in your own time in your own way, that’s something to be aware of!

We don’t need them to be flirtatious with each other (especially in a kids’ show), or sound so obviously like a guy imitating a female character and a girl playing a male character—it’s inappropriate.

My daughter and I love this podcast so much! Vanessa’s and Evan’s voices are so inviting, and we have already learned so much! The Montessori method is effective, and we especially love the original songs and Mrs. Elephant and Mr. Mouse skits! My daughter had some exposure to Spanish through school, but this podcast has us actually using the words we’re learning together in conversation. This is our favorite podcast to enjoy together, and we also love the music videos on YouTube. We couldn’t believe they made little pajamas for baby chicks in their Los Pollitos video! Their podcast and songs enrich our lives, and we are so very grateful! We also love all of the fascinating cultural traditions we are learning about.
