I guess she needs the money
The podcast to advertisement ratio makes this unlistenable. And not just because it’s more ads than content, but there’s no consideration for the flow of the conversation. Cutting people off mid-word, let alone mid-thought makes it hard to enjoy. Won’t listen again

    Bobbie Lee had me dying😅
I never laughed so hard as I did the Bobbie lee episode! Omg! “Let’s move on” 😂😂 he was exhausting and hilarious all In one. Please please more of him!! Obsessed 😍

    Podcast yes stand up eh
To be transparent I haven’t watched Whitney’s stand up in probably a decade, with that said. I love this pod and find Whitney fascinating. My intro episode was with the fantastically funny Kyle Kinane. Apple then suggested and episode here and there now I listen more often.

    Dan Cummings
Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of your banter with each other. Literally ecstatic to have two of my favorite comedians banter like this. Please have Dan back soon! And like a good Space Lizard would say- “3 out of 5 stars! Wouldn’t change a thing!” 😂 Previous review: 5 stars. In the episode with Rachel Bilson. Detroit loves u, Whitney 💕💕💕 Thanks for shouting out Shinola Detroit!

Great host ruined by invasive ads
Love Whitney...brilliant and funny with exceptional skills as an interviewer but the invasive frequent advertising forced me to stop listening.

    Edited episodes are unlistenable
Ever since the episodes started being edited and “bleeping” the curse words the show is not enjoyable whatsoever. Unsubscribing sadly because I did find it very funny before the edits went into effect.

    Ep 218
Love the Jimmy episode number 218 but not super fond of your hosting abilities. Sorry not sorry.

    Ugh
I want to hear the person being interviewed more. Also, Whitney, your laugh is too much. It's soooo loud and just exhausting Why all the bleeps? I listened to Kate Casey interview Kathy Griffin and she actually let Kathy talk. It was amazing. The episode with a Kathy here was hard to listen to. Just wish the host would actually listen to the guest and let them talk.

    Loss of creativity
Used to be a fan but bummed she’s stooped to talking about trans people and boasting about using the f slur in her special- shooting fish in a barrel and comes off as wanting to be “one of the guys”.

Will you and Trevor please get married?
Stop teasing us and each other. You have amazing chemistry. Go for it. Try each other out.

    My favorite
I just had to comment on what Trevor Wallace said that you only need to do Rogan to promote. Sure that’s great, loved the episode, my husband is a new fan because of that. However! I listened to your episode on Christina P’s show and I just love you two. It’s totally different content and y’all are like my favorite two people on the planet. Keep going with the other podcasts, Rogan isn’t everything. Congrats on the baby

    Too much censorship
I don’t want to listen to a podcast and hear bleeps the entire time.

    The Sound of Free Dumb
Randomly listened for maybe the first time in years and all you did was talk about 4chan nonsense and alt right conspiracy theories. Big yikes at the hot mess this pod has devolved into, I could literally actually feel myself getting stupider. BENTON FOREVER

Jamie Kennedy interview got me HOOKED!
Thanks for using your voice to speak up and talk about all the things we all are scared to talk about

If it were funny I could tolerate all the ads.

    Joe Rogan episode 11/10/23
You were so ****ing funny on Joe Rogan. Congrats on the baby.

I was looking for humor, but victim blaming Cosby’s victims was not funny
Listened to the Nate Bargatze episode and was upset Whitney attacked those who were abused by Cosby. I’m a trauma therapists, and I love comedy. Victim blaming is damaging and isn’t comedy. I hope she’ll do better.

    Not great.
I like Whitney Cummings but I only made it halfway through one episode. She does all the talking and goes off on too many tangents to keep my interest. I want to hear more from the guest, that’s why we listen. We are interested in the guest and what they have to say. Her podcast is just an opportunity for her to talk about herself to someone else. I also find it super frustrating when the host constantly interrupts their guest. Let them speak!

Jackie Schimmel is how I found you

After 3 years listening to this podcast, still loving every minute of it!!!
A Super Whitney Cummings fan here. Super grateful for this podcast, for Whitney particular interviewing approach, and her sense of humor, even in dire times. Thank you Whitney for all the laughs, thank you for your passion for the truth, and more importantly, you die hard Animal activism, you’re amazing, and incredibly talented on everything you do! Keep up the good work. Sending tons of love your way!! Thank you!!!

    :(
This podcast changed how I think a lot and was really formative. I got into it in COVID and really liked it for a really long time. Recently, though, Whitney has been using the r-slur and making fun of trans people and I don’t like that.

The most annoying woman I’ve ever loved
I feel antagonized by how much I enjoy listening to Whitney interrupt her guests. Such a beautiful human!

No one calls you Ho Rogan.

    Disappointing
I was excited to listen to the Nate Bargatze interview but she interrupted him over and over and didn’t ask him anything substantive. It came across as wanting to talk about herself than let him get a word in.

    Inconsistent
Whitney will say one thing one day (and on one podcast) then say something completely different the next. I used to really like her but her podcast became annoying the more she talked over her guests. Sometimes she can come off pretentious and contrarian. Whitney talks as if she is healed and over her issues but a lot of the stuff she says and the way she talks doesn’t make it seem like she has. I used to follow Whitney on social media and have gone to her show before but I don’t do either of those now. I miss Benton!!

    No improvement
Every 6 months I try to listen to an episode, because I like Whitney. And every 6 months, I hear her rabidly motormouthing over a guest. I tuned in to hear Kathy Griffin, not to hear Whitney cut her off so she can tell us breathlessly about her alcoholic home for the 120th time. Dude, stand DOWN. But instead of taking the criticism, even though so many people say the same things, she just decides that her audience are all misogynists who want her to fail. He can one spend so much on self improvement and still be so unconscious to basic reality. It’s like uncomfortable to hear at this point.

    Love Whitney, hate the bleeps
I love Whitney and enjoy her interviews, but I don’t understand why she bleeps out curse words? I hate hearing the bleeps constantly. I just listened to the episode with Riley Reid (porn star) so it’s not like it’s a show for kids? Wish she wouldn’t do this

Self Censorship Has Ruined The Podcast
Listening to the podcast is now a sad joke. Beeping out the “bad words,” and censoring the conversations so the podcast can remain on YouTube has ruined the podcast. I never watched the podcast on YouTube, I listened via an app, but you’ve lost a subscriber.
  • Legless Romantic
    Audio Version better than Video
It’s a great podcast with a good mix of different types of guest with a host (Whitney) who’s funny and keeps the convos fun, loose and free flowing. 3 stars if this review was for the Video version of the pod. I don’t feel like the video version has good enough lighting to where you can see to well. Needs more, bigger and brighter lights for the video version.

Poor Sound Quality and Holy ads
Listened to the Matt Rife interview, it was very soft compared to other podcast for sound. But I stopped listening by minute 25 due to 5 ad reads. 1 every 5 mins is stupid.

    My fave podcast!
Whitney makes the best podcast! I love how long her interviews are and how she just talks about whatever. This podcast is good for me!

    Benton and Emily’s podcast
Benton and Emily’s podcast, “Nice To Be Nice,” is available wherever you get your podcasts and your YouTubes. Will they survive without all those interruptions? It appears that they will. Their pod is comfortably loose, spontaneous, and very funny; like hanging with two friends who spark hilariously off of each other. Listen/watch, follow, rate, and review! (Maybe it’s rude to post this here –I kinda hope so– but with so many people missing B&E, it seems appropriate.)
  • Pretzelann
This pod has come so far!
It was honestly super cringy when they started with Whitney talking to her assistants and I couldn’t stand hearing them talk. I much prefer Whitney by herself coming in hot with the guest. I love Whitney, and I love how personal she gets with her guests and I’m always blown away with how deep she gets😊

    Poor sound quality with interview
The interview with David Hale, and Rodney Dangerfield, daughter of quality on the zoom interview with Rodney‘s daughter was terrible I could barely hear her.

    Tom Papa
Great episode. I really enjoyed this one!! What an improvement at every level. You are a wonderful, decent human. Please hire me :) However, with you it seems hit or miss the last episode was dreadful for me. You were on speed mode again… and ur guest voice was awful. Hard to listen to! This podcast is either love it or unbearable. Pay more attention to the listener and try to stay consistent sometimes your all over the place!

This podcast is a lot and I love it
Been listening since the pandemic - I love this podcast even when it’s totally off the rails. Love Whitney and everything she does!
  • jasu chan
    Not feeling it lately :b
Whitney keeps bringing on these random white guests no one knows about and even when they’re on she hardly interviews them and always in some way reverts the conversation back to herself. Do better bae, i used to love this pod

    Victim Blaming Bill Cosby’s Prey
Nate Bargatze episode: Only tuned in as a big fan of The Nateland Podcast and Nate himself…. That being said quite frankly nauseating to hear you, a woman victim blaming Bill Cosby’s prey as if they had prior issues enough so that led them to wanting to be with that man, or insinuating they deserved to be disrespected in such a manner? Gross of you.
  • Nutriaboy
    Still Frustrating - yet again
I come back to this podcast every 4 - 6 weeks and check in to see if there are episodes with people I am interested in because it can be funny, as when she is just with her staff. Unfortunately the episode with Rachel Bilson was an example of Whitney at her worst. She always says she wants to ask questions that other interviewers don’t ask but she ended up asking almost no questions and never let her answer the ones she did ask. I learned almost nothing about Rachel Bilson so I guess I should just google some other interviews as it was a waste of time to listen to Whitney interview her.

Will not stop talking about herself
I really like Whitney so I really hope this improves, but I had to turn off the Tom papa episode because it was so obnoxiously self gratuitous- on the rare occasion she’d ask a question, it’s padded by a 30 min personal trauma story and then she finally let him speak and would interrupt. I was laughing, but only at how ridiculous the lack of self awareness was.
