One of my favorite podcast. Dionne has a gift of sharing other artists’s creative stories and journeys. Each episode leaves me feeling motivated and empowered to push my creativity to bigger places and helps me feel like a part of a much larger and beautiful community

I love listening to Paint Talks. Dionne is a fabulous host and she invites such interesting and inspiring guests to join her on each episode. I learn so much from each episode and always look forward to the next. Thank you Dionne for bringing out the creative side in each of us!

And I used to own a Bed and Breakfast in Round Top , so there’s that !! This podcast is not only genuine and Informative - but Incredibly inspiring! Many of us don’t think we have a story to share - but in listening to the creatives speak on this show just screams YES - we do! There is something relatable in every story. Dionne has a great ability to listen, ask and make the listener feel like we’re right there in the room with them! Fantastic!

I just love to listen to Dionne interview other creatives!! It’s like sitting with a friend at a coffee shop kind of conversation. Her guests are from many backgrounds, with different outlooks on life, but they seem like the best of friends when they are together!! If you have a half hour, and want to get to know other creatives make sure to tune in soon… you will be happy if you do!

I just started listening to Dionne’s podcasts recently and let me just say I am blown away with the honest & beautiful stories! I am laughing as well as teary-eyed at different parts. To hear Dionne’s serious as well as fun & sometimes silly questions to her quests is both heartwarming and real. I’m not one to listen to podcasts but this one I listen to I have my days that I listen to them all day long over and over they inspire me and I feel like I’m right there in the room with them I get to know the artist and there struggles pushes me forward.

I listen to Paint Talks either when I’m gardening, or when I’m painting base layers on new art pieces. For those of us that follow Dionne and have seen her grow from teacher, to mentor, to business coach, it’s only natural to see her grow into what is now this podcast. Dionne eases one into a natural, relaxed conversation, and not as an interview for a podcast. To me the interviews are not just interviews for a podcast but connections that go beyond words. Dionne’s voice is soothing and relaxed and that makes guests feel like they are just chatting with an old friend whom they haven’t seen in a long time. Download and listen to it. You won’t regret it!

I was widowed after 41 years and discovered Dionne through Debbie Beard after my husband’s death. My story is different than yours and it does take time. It’s two years later and still the vale’s of grief still lift and my brain seems to be clearer. I’m like you in that I carry on no matter what. Your right life is short and you continue. I’ve just began letting people back into my life more openly closer to the person I use to be. I know I will never be that same person and that’s find. Life is short. Be the person you want to be and have a passion for life and a purpose in your life. Mine is art and some times telling other women they can do life in their own terms. Appreciate you both🌻

Dionne Woods has changed my life and she will change yours if you let her. I have always thought that I wasn't creative, I wasn't artistic. I would see people paint and create beautiful art and I would say "I could never do that, I didn't get that gene." Then I found Dionne and she helped me see that I can do that, I do have that gene! About a year ago, because of her inspiration and encouragement I picked up a paint brush for the first time in my life and I haven't put it down since. I truly have a different life now and It's hard to remember those days when I would say "I can't do that." Dionne is so much more than a talented artist, she is also an amazing mentor and through her Facebook groups she has built a community around her that supports not just Dionne, but each other. Now she is pushing herself once again by starting an online magazine, The Turquoise Iris Journal, and this Podcast. She is always reaching for the stars and encourages all of us to do the same.

Dionne Woods, The Turquoise Iris, is truly an inspirational woman. Once I began following Dionne 4+ years ago, I was in awe by her unique creations of furniture art and canvas art. She pushes her limits everyday and inspires and encourages others to do the same. Dionne is a mentor to others in her membership groups, and she has a heart larger than anything she’s ever painted. Dionne is beyond talented. She sets goals and achieves them ~ the Iris Journal, and now her new Podcast. Dionne blooms with everything she sets her mind to. Truly an Inspiration!

Dionne can truly be defined as “All the things”. She is a creative mentor, business coach, a Student of the paint world (always learning herself), and an inspiration to anyone who happens to run across her on social media. Venturing into a digital magazine and podcast were both just the obvious steps in this amazing journey she and Matt have created for themselves.
