fieldglass oh myLove it all the way in KenyaListened to this by chance while in the states and i hate it so much that it pains me that it is this Freaking Awesome...yeah i know i said Hate 😂😂😂 but Thank you for a podcast well put

kaydog6969Season 4 is so biasedI love this podcast but season 4 is garbage. It’s so biased. They hardly talk about Diane (the actual victim) This season betrays this poor rich white family who are abused by the system. My eyes hurt by the end from rolling them into the back of my head. Laws apply to even the rich seem to be difficult for the ward family to grasp It’s so bizarre

Sarah Marie!Billy! Billy! Billy! Please bring Billy back!! This podcast is suffering without him.

Mcdiro20Don’t really like true crime podcastsI’m not really into true crime podcasts but my friend told me to listen to this so I did. The story is crazy in and of itself but the team behind this does a great job. From the structure, to the music to the people narrating it, it’s a must listen if you have time. Amazing what’s unfolding with this story.

J_troxell2000GreatGreat & informative pod!
-
LydiaFaithfullIt’sN-U-C-L-E-A-R, Alexis. Go ahead, take every vowel and flip them interchangeably. Channel George W. Bush on your scripted podcast without bothering to edit. Christ, I need to go lay down.
-
Da Bicycle RidahToo Thirsty for CrimesThere is entirely too much revelry in the gruesome details, and the cheesy, canned, overly melodramatic music adds to the distasteful vibe of this ‘cast.
-
gonefishcakingGreat storytellingHate billy had to go and be not a great guy bc it’s a lot harder to listen to without him.
-
AjbudaThank God they aren’t copsAnd interesting podcast, but their last analysis of the arrest, is a very good example of how cops get tunnel vision. They go hard in the paint on anything that might make him look guilty, even if it make very little sense, and then immediately dismiss anything that goes against what their angle is, even if it is a more reliable source, with actual information. Don’t get me wrong, I think the guy did it, but their way of investigating is exactly what all the wrongfully accused (and one of their previous seasons) talk about.

Karen now KittyThe ultimate investigative journalism.I have followed this pod since the beginning. Really well done. It’s akin to the murdaugh Muders with Liz and Mandy. Well done
-
EatbushGreat Podcast!I love everything you do Alexis! Thank you for advocating for these women. They will not be forgotten!
-
EssieWillowsToo Much FluffI used to love this podcast but there is way too much fluff. I kept following until the most recent episode. The questions she asked a victim’s sister were disgusting… why bring up the “murderbalia” and put that in her head if it wasn’t already there. This is exactly what Sara Turney is talking about when she mentioned the need for true crime ethics.
-
SavesSpidersTheir objectivity is refreshingI listen to a lot of true crime podcasts (both serious and light true crime podcasts) and it’s unusual to come across one that explores all points of view. Their objectivity is refreshing. There is always more than one side to a story and UNRAVELED does a great job of investigating as many as possible. I always look forward to a new episode and the hosts’ take on the topic. Although many podcasts boast that they do a “deep dive” into a subject, but UNRAVELED should show them how it’s done!
-
MY-41So much speculationThis is for the LISK episodes only. Started out great but there is so much speculation in the recent episodes between the narrator and psychiatrist that have no basis in fact that it’s annoying to listen to. Just sounds like people gossiping and not actual journalism.
-
LordfiredeathGreat Beginning, Tabloid FutureThis might not be as evident if I hadn’t been flying through episodes at the start but the series begins so well with fact finding journalism and true crime narrative but with the recent updates in the LISK case it plays more like a tabloid. The use of a Nancy Grace-esque “expert” ended my binge listen real quick. You’ve got to not make assumptions on journalism and this feels like nothing but as of late.

sjhall76Unraveled LISKI should preface this by saying I'm not grading the show as a whole. I'm reviewing the Unraveled LISK series. Maybe even moreso the current ad campaign they are running. Currently Unraveled is running ads for a LISK series. However this was a series completed two years before the arrest of the suspect. It spends seven episodes detailing, masterfully, the corruption in the Suffolk County police department that hindered the investigation but the episodes about the actual killer are an additional five episodes that were recorded after. Additionally the show is advertising a series that, for the original series, featured a cohost who was later dismissed from the podcast over allegations of misconduct. It's really jarring when you launch episode one and suddenly there he is with no warning.
-
walkonthepinksideThoroughThis is done very professional. I would recommend this pod cast to all.
-
Space TraceSo good!!All of these podcast series are really well done. The episodes fly by and keep you intrigued; I binged the whole library in about a week. Highly recommended! I really enjoyed the entire thing.
-
Nikks456Well doneSo happy I stumbled upon this show, it’s very well done and doesn’t seem exploitive. Plus Alexis’s voice is SO nice to listen to. The music can be really corny at times but I suspect that’s the IDness of it all. One note for the hosts: I did NOT like the guest on LISK Ep 11, the Dr. Arnold I think her name was. She reminds me of Nancy Grace. Speaking conjecture like it’s fact. Big turn off. Other than that, I actually listen to this show at 1x speed—that’s how much I like it 😂
-
nagheemI want to like this…I just started but in episode one, a heroine addict steals a duffel bag from the car of a police chief along with an evidence bag of drugs. And NO ONE questions this story. The duffel bag contains something seriously problematic and yet a police chief leaves it in his car overnight. With drugs from a crime. I can believe in police corruption and in incompetence, but this seems insane and it really bugs me that neither INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST asks about it. Um….
-
KateandTTwisting everything to make Bob Ward innocentI usually enjoy this show but season 4 is ridiculous. The family is so entitled and nasty. God forbid anyone not do exactly what the Ward family wants. And Bob’s story makes no sense.
-
sk-mjMissing something..The show seems to be missing it’s once prevalent journalistic integrity and investigative prowess. With the new events revealing a suspect in custody - the podcast has shifted into more of a sensational and speculative narrative.
-
ValiPacificNWHighly recommend this compelling true crime podcastAlexis Linkletter and Billy Jensen do an excellent job in this true crime podcast, including highlighting serious flaws in forensic expert testimony that have resulted in convictions of innocent individuals. Their investigation of crimes is thorough and compelling.
-
clintonjanGreat podcastI loved listening to this podcast about lisk. Tons of information about the case and about the psyche of people such as lisk. Great journalism and presentation.
-
krinklekrinkleLove this podLove their style and how they speak, lay out the story and keep it very interesting. Thank you
-
ChavrifybjeanfhPoor journalismThe most important thing innocent until proven guilty is completely disregarded by these people. One can still report on current crime stories, but LISK has not been convicted yet.
-
SJJPhilDramaticA little dramatic and overdone, feels a little glorifying of these crimes.
-

knick7073My favorite podcastI got into this podcast based off a friends recondition about true crime and the LISK cases. Accidentally started on season five, I was very confused for a few episodes because I thought it was about the LISK murder. Ha ha but after the confusion I figured it out and haven’t stopped listening. It is so interesting the different topics investigated. Please keep up the amazing work!
-
lacegrl130Miss BillyWow I miss him so much. Is there any room for Grace for him? Show went from 3 dimensional to 2 dimensional. It’s ok… just great.
-
Sloggy's paradiseTed BundyBundy did not attempt to escape Raiford prison. Around that time raiford was one of the most secured prisons, guards in towers and vans looking down the scope of the gun as you step foot on the grounds. My father did time with bundy this is how I know. Also, the Utah prison wardon, where bundy escaped from, said to leave bundy in Florida because raiford was a tougher prison and trust me “the rock” was tough.
-
MCEPS33One of the best True Crime Podcast!Absolutely keep me hanging on every episode. Loved how in depth they were with their research. Scary how one of the biggest police departments got away with so much for so long. I grew up in a small town & we knew our department was corrupt. A bigger area with so many other officers, I find it hard to believe No one tried to bring awareness to it 🤷🏼♀️!

-
jackass11111liskI guess you two were totally wrong jimmy burke is not lisk, when are you going to apoligize to chief burke.
-
KvjoSeason 4 annoyed meYou did not convince me that an innocent man was sitting in prison. Not at all. The daughters don’t care that he killed their mom. Disgusting. Their story is so far fetched and the hosts just want to buy into it. Otherwise, I’ve enjoyed it.
-
shannon9884this podcast is insaneone of the best, thought out, and well done podcasts I’ve listened to, the amount of work, background research, deep diving and effort that is put into this SHOWS
-
VanessaazPresented sensitivelyThis podcast is excellent. As a fan of all types of podcasts- this genre always challenges me because I don’t want forget that the victims were people, not entertainment. I’m sure this is the dilemma for many listeners. While being informative and avoiding dragging out the details of the stories- this pod also keeps victims and families top of mind. Well done.
-
kiasjamesJennI LOVE THIS PODCAST!!! I love her voice!

Der SpringerProfile Podcast is an insult to intelligenceThere are no reliable statistics for one and done thrill killers which means there are no reliable stats for serial thrill killers. None of the profilers said the analytic profile was better than genealogical profiling nor that they didn’t use genealogy when available. And statistical profiling will eventually perform most of the work but human analysis will be required for awhile to come even if that analysis are judgments about data input and physical apprehension. The insults are the show’s assertions that analytic profiling was ever anything more than a way to generate leads by simply providing avenues to follow up (accuracy isn’t important). And the assertion genealogy somehow proves that one time killers is a huge proportion of thrill killers. The show didn’t prove their two examples were one time killers. Rowe seems a probable one timer. Talbot no way he was a truck driver living in rural Washington. Moreover it doesn’t even matter we have to assume they will keep killing bc preventing another murder is more important than catching a previous killer.

beanandfrankUnraveledThis is by far the best podcast! The professional presentation is unsurpassed! Keep up the amazing work! I see the new developments. What’s in his yard?!
-
kmarsh3895Bring back BillyIt was a complicated mess , give Billy another chance . The man clearly had a drinking problem and deserves forgiveness, not exile. Try to see the good he has done .

It’s me 44This is greatCannot wait until they take Burke, Spota and Bellone down. We all know they buried this case!!!
-
violetexeloved LISK EPISODESBIG FAN HERE, its a totally NEW slant ON THEMURDERS ON long islands serial killings via a drugged up kid who put a new purview on the chatacters involved, some blocking the serial killer case of the private enclave, Gilgo Beach. WOW A MUST LISTEN! Great riviting NARRATIVE with the actual players. I applaud you!
-
MickiVonJuly, 2023 Gilgo Beach ArrestIn light of the recent arrest of Rex Heuermann, 59, in the Gilgo Beach murders, do you still believe that the murderer is James Burke, who was the chief of police at the time of the murders? At this time Rex Heuermann has only been tied to 4 of the murders, although that number could increase. Do you believe that James Burke was responsible for some of the Gilgo Beach murders while Rex Heuermann was responsible for some as well? James Burke could have been a crooked law enforcement officer/murderer without being the Gilgo Beach murderer. What are your thoughts?

DJW6356Billy “the creep” JensenBilly the creep loved pretending to have the moral high ground and talk down to people that had different social views or voted differently than him. Come to find out the creep was fired for groping coworkers. Another outspoken male feminist metoo’d. I’m starting to notice a pattern.

mercari seller no 82AhhhhhmazzingLove it keep up the great work! Love how the compelling stories are broken down. Gives me the chills I know you are five star worthy.
