I love the show. Listened to every episode in one day and have been eagerly been waiting for new episodes each week. I really enjoyed the recent episode on how to write a song. I just wanted to say that I love your song. The lyric style and flow reminds me MGMT which is one of my favorite bands of all time.

I find this really interesting and usually funny(especially the nickname episode and the how to make your own shoe episode). I listen to this at school, home, and doing whatever. Yeah it can have to inappropriate parts like the weird man who confuses woman into doing stuff with him but like, Ari does say stuff like this may be to inappropriate, so like its fine. But still the best podcast i listen to and love it

I somehow actually stumbled upon one of your old sneaker videos on YouTube, ngl don’t remember which one it was a few days ago. And how I ended up here? Podcasts? I’ve never listened to one in my life. But here we are a week later and I haven’t stopped listening! It also took me quite sometime to figure out how to rate/review. Excited to see the long term growth!

Mostly good topics, last few not as much but over all I enjoy it. Fun to listen to the lengths he goes to find the info and his opinions along the way. No new episodes in awhile, is it still going?

There is a whimsical tone to this podcast that I find very appealing, especially now. Observational humor can be non divisive depending on the topic, and this podcast fits the bill. Thanks!

The best episodes are when other people do most of the talking….North Korea one, bomb one etc. when Ari is the star (tricking friends, saving podcast) it’s awful because he is insufferable.

Don’t take that in the negative way. Listening to Ari’s perspective on topics that in no way helps me in my life is addictive. I love useless knowledge. In someway it helps me deflate from the real problems in my life and helps me with some imagination therapy. Thank you for your shows.

There’s no bigger douche out there

I know nothing about this kid but he is great at presenting a story. Not sure where i found him, probly dollop, but great show. Wish it was longer. More content per episode please. Your doing great sir.

I have loved this show since the very beginning. I heard about it in the Dollop with Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds. There’s a few things I love about this show; the subject matter (read: content) covers a wide range and it’s al thoughtful and interesting. Some of the episodes are mostly funny, and some are surprisingly profound. Ari has connections with a great deal of people whose personal experiences are directly relevant to the topic at hand. His dad was a professional gambler, his personal friend is a sneaker designer, the producer of the show is Adam McKay. He has episodes about being a pickup artist, cooking in prison, repossessing airplanes, dropping out of school, hippopotamuses in Columbia, visiting North Korea, and selling your soul to the devil, to name a few. Ari is a great writer, he is funny, thoughtful, and communicative about his experience producing a popular podcast at age 19. This is a refreshing look at the world through the eyes of a Gen X comedian, and it’s something I wait for every week.

Saw the ad while getting onto the Staten Island ferry and decided to check it out. Now I listen to it every day on the way to school.

I love this show, you never know what Ari is going to talk about next, and it’s always a fun ride! This guy knows how to make a podcast!

Heard about this podcast from Adam Ruins Everything. It’s a lot like Adam’s podcast but about strange and interesting topics. The host is great, sort of feels like listening to a friend.

Please keep politics out. Just because you don’t agree with an individual doesn’t warrant personal attacks. It cheap easy lame and not funny.

Found this pod because of Ari’s YouTube page and did not expect it to be as entertaining and informative as it is! Shame on me. So good. So we’ll done. And so short, I’m binging through it, wanting more.

Avid listener waiting for the epp where we learn to be el Chapo. I thought it might be part of the airplane epp alas Fidel Castro beat him out. TRAVESTY! We love Ari and his lighthearted but smart ways. Ps. Absolutely it should have been called “How not to assasinate Fidel Castro.”

This podcast isn’t overly dramatic or concerned with coming across as smartest guy in the room. A pleasure to hear every week.

Ari is right up there with Roman Mars and Radiolab and Steven Dubner. Well, maybe he doesn’t have all the fancy things yet, but he will soon. Stay cool, Ari!

I listened first to “How to beat the House” and Ari described how do count cards, which cards were +1, -1, and 0. Okay, great, but what does one DO with that count? It’s never explained. Kind of important, I would think. I’ll listen to another episode, but so far I’m underwhelmed.

I don't usually listen to podcasts but this one caught my attention because it is different and deals with topics that, as its title says, “things you don't need to know.” However I am in love with this podcast and I can’t wait for future episodes...

Ari is great in this and I love the pickup artist episode and the one about multi level marketing. The podcast has been a breath of fresh air during covid!
