Love this it’s my listening show for my morning commute I’m a CNA

I used to really enjoy this podcast when Blake had his husband as a co-host on many episodes or was solo. I think having a non-nurse on the podcast provides an interesting take. It is unfortunately really boring now with no real substance or flow. No offense but the “co-hosts” for this season are what really ruin it for me. Kelly is really boring to listen to (nothing against her, some people just aren’t meant for podcasting). Nurse John makes funny TikTok’s but listening to him for an extended amount of time on a podcast is just annoying. I really hope you go back to the old podcast format soon. It really was so great. I can’t listen any more.

Nurse Blake you are the best! I love your refreshing take on our career! I’ve always said “ no one understands nursing like a real nurse RN!” You have me LOL and I’m hoping you will made the difference for so many dedicated hardworking Nurses! Thank you so much for being you! I had to go out on disability during COVID and I miss nursing so keep on making your episodes i love to listen to you! I want to do the cruise! Nurse Joy!

This podcast keeps me laughing!

i used to love nurse blAke and think he was hilarious. then i found out that he stole a bunch of money from people for a “nurse con cruise” and has been working overtime to filter out anything, anywhere to make sure this knowledge stays off the internet. there is already a war on nurses and this is just the cherry on top honestly. it’s a really bad look. and since nothing is being done to correct this i don’t think we should be supporting him any longer ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I love this podcast, listen every week. He speaks so much truth and brings the truth about nursing to light in a fun way and is a great advocate for nurses, nursing assistants and nursing students as well as the whole health care field in general. @netflix he needs a show

Silly me. I started listening to your podcast via YouTube. I then went to your show in Ft Lauderdale in September. That show was SO FUN ❤️All of those times I heard you say “go check us out on Apple” and I thought, “I am hearing it all on YT though!” WRONG! I’m so late but I’m here! And catching up! I love the interaction and dynamic between Nurse Blake and his husband. I used to work in the medical field but not as a nurse. I did go to nursing school but was unable to finish due to then husband getting deployed and having to move. I still wish I could have finished. Oh well. Your podcast brings so much joy and you always have a smile in your voice which is something we all need during these times. Keep up the great work! 💕

I might not be a nurse, but I have been in the medical field for 12 years (CNA turned Phlebotomist) but I am OBSESSED with this podcast. Loved the last (medical shows) episode. I was also a fan of House. Wanted to point out that house was based on Sherlock Holmes. (Holmes and Watson, House and Wilson). Little fun fact. I was also a fan of the show Nurse Jackie. You’re right, you don’t hear of medical associations complaining about how doctor characters make the profession look but the ANA had issue with Nurse Jackie?! Anyways, great episode and great podcast, love listening to you guys!

After a very long day shift in my new ICU job, I went home and crashed for a measly 5 hour before I woke up defeated, and chose to look up a “nursing podcast”, hoping to find something to teach me and make me a better RN. But I find this and I LOVE THIS! It wasn’t what I had in mind when I went on my search but this is exactly what I can sit down to to unwind and share in experiences and relive what brought me to my profession. As an LPN working and going to school to finish my nursing degree I find Nurse Blake’s stories about nursing very relatable, and they help me to remember why I do what I do. And it also puts into perspective what my family may go though with me hearing what life with a nurse/nursing student is from Brett’s perspective.
