Hi Jason! I’ve been listening for awhile now but this last episode sparked something in me. I have loved listening to your guests but Kit made me realize we need more variety. If I am going to be able to apply the advice you and your guests are giving it would be helpful to hear from people who aren’t influencers, too. What extra tips are out there for teachers, social workers, electricians, etc? David pointed out, should I have a financial advisor? Does that make sense for people who aren’t making thousands a week like your guests? Just a thought!

I’m excited about this new segment! Since you asked for suggestions for a name, what about “monopoly”? It just came to mind because you mentioned that the discussion will be somewhat random each week, or a “monopoly” if you will. Monopoly also goes with the money theme… keeping the current name works, too! Loved this first episode!

Jason is so entertaining. He breaks everyday life and wealth down to the most basic terms that captivates audiences from everywhere. He gives the best advice and is fun to listen to… great to look at too! ❤️. I recommend this podcast to anyone in the lows or highs of life. Good day, I’m listening to the podcast with Colton Underwood. The name of your Thursday show should be called behind the lines or something similar so you don’t violate copyrights, to describe all things that are affected by contracts. The portion that is light came on involved, talking about name, image, likeness, how a corporate entity could have you stuck in a contract and take a vantage of that. I feel like the theme of your book, talk money to me, has the same kind of theme. Dealing with contracts or agreements. Just received the book and starting the read My two cents. Rob

First off, I’ve got another title for the Colton underwood episode: “redefining strategic” he used that word for everything from navigating the world of reality tv to his fertility journey, and you pointed out how the word shouldn’t have such a negative connotation. As for the second weekly episode, it’s pretty basic but the first thing that came to my mind was “the overtime episode”

I really enjoy listening each week & am hopeful that the Thursday episodes will become a regular show as well. My recommendation for a Thursday name would be a variation of “Let’s Roll” Let’s Recap, Observe, Learn, Love. A play on words as Roll is a money term & also creates a fun acronym. Thanks so much for the amazing content & best of luck with future endeavors.

2nd ep name ideas: Checks and balances Monopoly money Nickel and dimed

I am a relatively new Trading Secrets podcast listener, but it has become a part of my weekly listening playlist. Love the concept and getting inside and insightful information from a variety of careers and personalities. Jason does a great job interviewing and I like that we always get numbers, business or financial backstory, and one “trading secret”. Have started to go back to past years episodes as well!) Since Jason asked- one idea for the second weekly episode title- maybe “Weekly Wind Down Wildcard”? Then it really could be the gamut for what may be timely or relevant and a little blind before the week ends. Just a thought! Keep up the great work.

Hi Jason! Just wanted to say love the pod and I listen every week 😊 I heard you wanted suggestions for the name of the second episode per week and I think Money Matters would be the perfect title. I was thinking a great theme for the episodes would be for you and David to read/review finance books and discuss what stands out to you both. Maybe bring the authors in as guests as well when possible 👀 You can start with your two books and then move on to Rich Dad, Poor Dad etc. etc. just a suggestion I’ll definitely be listening either way lolll

My husband and I have been listening for years and joined the FB group, but the podcast is lacking. The long titles are click bait. The host sounds too scripted and the sound quality, production is all so bad and low budget. The guests are hit or miss. We enjoyed the dental episode, but there are lots of reality TV people and influencers which gets old fast. The cohost David has a monotone voice and gives mindless, reductive recaps and really offers nothing to the show. We usually skipped over his part, but we started to skip over most of the episodes as we listened to Jason because he speaks like a corny salesman reading a poorly written script for a corporate sales pitch. He is pushing hard on every ep for us to spend $30 for his new book and tells us listeners to email him a copy of the receipt for proof. Why would anyone buy a self-help book about relationships, love & money loosely written by a former reality show contestant who just had a failed public relationship with his fiancé a few months ago? I would never seek love or career advice from a guy like that. His public breakup looked like it got really contentious and ugly. They aren’t friendly at all, yet split up custody of their dogs. This book feels like an easy money grab for Jason to capitalize on a bad breakup. It’s wrong that the listeners are the ones who are funding Jason’s lavish jet setting influencer lifestyle that he flaunts on IG. Isn’t he almost 40 now? He comes across very entitled and narcissistic. We no longer want to be part of the Money Mafia group when my husband and I received real help with our finances listening to informative podcasts like “Money Rehab” with Nicole Lapin and The Dave Ramsay Show. Trading Secrets over promises, but under delivers. As a listener, it’s difficult to enjoy a podcast that has a host with questionable morality and character. It feels like donating money to a crooked megachurch pastor with deep pockets. Kaitlin Bristowe recently broke off her engagement and called off the wedding with Jason for a reason. They were together for 4 years and there are 2 sides to every story. I felt bad for Jason at first, but he now comes across as conceited, bitter and resentful towards her online. It’s not a good look. She must have seen major red flags in him as a person so she called off the wedding. Jason doesn’t seem like a genuine guy and he’s not a good actor. Kaitlyn tried to be cryptic with her true feelings about him, but she’s made it so obvious to the public on her IG and on Off The Vine that she thinks Jason is a fraud who is obsessed with his public image and money. She’s not okay, but appeared to be worse when Jason was in her life. It’s obvious he really messed Kaitlyn up psychologically. She seems unhinged now like she’s spiraling. I used to be a fan, but it’s hard to watch. It’s easy to blame the woman, but after listening to the pod and seeing how Jason conducts himself is alarming. Jason seems very selfish, extremely self righteous and self absorbed. After listening to Trading Secrets, following him on Instagram for years and meeting him in person, we are so disappointed to say that Kaitlin Bristowe is probably not wrong about Jason Tartick. I don’t think Jason believes in God. He’s an atheist like Kaitlin, but he could really use some faith these days. Jason is already speaking publicly on his podcast about wanting to find a wife this year and wants kids. Yikes. I feel really bad for the poor woman who ends up with Jason. He is going after a single mother now! Kat Stickler is his rebound and she is going to have a rude awakening with him. They met on his podcast and he already went on a vacation with her and she’s on his book tour posting videos on social media from his hotel room. It’s really sad. She jumps into serious relationships so fast🤰🏻🚩 Kat brings drama, baggage and chaos with her. It’s an unfortunate situation of yet another messy influencer who overshares on social media and looks like a nut case with crazy eyes. Jason has a type. Kat Stickler is the desperate, single mother version of Kaitlin Bristowe. He will use and exploit her like crazy. We are seeing a pattern. There are just too many red flags with Jason, his relationships, his business and this podcast that it all started to feel slimy to us. He looks and sounds manic and needs to get off of social media to do some self-work without the need for click bait, selfies, money, ad’s, comments and likes. We can no longer in good conscience support this podcast anymore. It’s a ticking time bomb. Trading Secrets had real potential, but it would soar with new hosts and a rebrand.

I absolutely love this podcast! I normally don’t review, but I think that Jason is just the best host with the most uplifting tone and outgoing personality. He is so genuine with all his interviews and so encouraging. I love hearing about all the ins and outs of people’s career journeys, and how they got to where they are with going through many obstacles. Not to mention he has amazing guests! Can’t recommend this podcast enough!

Call the Thursday episode Tartick Talks!

I love this show but have lost all respect once this Colton episode came out. If it was anyone else that did what he did, they would never be given a platform. I understand that people grow but what has he done to show remorse and that he has in fact changed. Definitely lost a follower on this.

Love this podcast so much - Jason gets so much out of his guests, and David makes sure the audience understands the lingo and any complicated points of discussion. I would LOVE a deep dive into the equestrian world - there’s some crazy money in that industry! Decided to get a dental crown. I asked my dentist about this and let me tell you I’m so glad I listen to this podcast because they did not educate me on the options. They just quoted me a price for veneers. I asked them about the information I learned from this dental episode. They confirmed all the information I presented and I was able to get the best option. Super grateful for these types of episodes! Just listened to Francesca episode and I loved that as well! Would love an episode on home insurance now because boy my home warranty and those contractors have taken advantage of us. Please continue to make these practical episodes they save money! Jason makes learning about money issues that at 64 I know nothing about, much easier to comprehend. I know it seems strange to be my age and not know much about finance, but honestly I can’t think of many of my friends that do. We grew up in a time that the man of the house handled money and when I was married I unfortunately fell into that same situation. I had no idea where all the money was going. I understand about getting the bills paid and keeping a checking balanced of course but not beyond that. I’m so happy to have an easy to understand and entertaining show that helps me now. Thank you Jason and David

Jason is such a delight. Personable, smart, helpful. As a 31 year old women who wants to understand more about personal finance, but not get lost or bored to death in more complex subject matter, Jason breaks it all down in a fun and understanding way. Great guests to learn from, too!

This has quickly become my favorite podcast! I’m even going back and listening to all the old episodes! Love the show and keep up the great work.

I like the variety in episodes, including the recent one with the dermatologist. But, be confident in who you are, and embrace the beautiful and natural aging process. I think women fall prey to the toxic anti-aging industry, and end up completely paralyzing, and sometimes ruining their face. And it's disheartening to see men starting to go down that route too. Not to mention very unattractive. News flash: A lot of women still like the appearance of a manly man - expression lines and all. Thank you for the information and education you provide in the podcast. But, I think the audience is also now deserving of an episode diving into the brainwashing beautiful industry and all the horrible side effects it can have, that then get swept under the rug.

Jason & Team - I’m a “newer” listener (summer 2023) and just wanted to send a note of appreciation for the content and advice you guys put out each week. In 2020 I left my full time career as a hospitality professional (Director of Events) to care for my newborn twins that were born prematurely at just 27 weeks. They spent 2 months in the NICU and we learned of some genetic deletions that my son had - so we quickly pivoted our plans and I turned SAHM. We went from a two-income household where I nearly matched my husband’s income to a one-income household during a time of true uncertainty. I was able to pick up freelance work and we made the changes we needed to to get by. My twins are three now, and we’re discussing what next chapters look like for me professionally as I balance our hectic schedule and kids’ needs. Your podcast has been exactly what I’ve needed to get back into a money mindset, while learning about market and industry trends and ways I can invest for our future. Some of the advice has been invaluable - the trading secrets are my favorite part. I enjoy the diverse range of guests you bring on and always feel I’m walking away from each episode more equipped to find my footing again professionally. I guess this is a long winded way of simply saying thank you! Your podcast has made me feel connected, empowered, and knowledgeable after spending much needed personal time away from work to care for my young kids. Your podcast is truly for EVERYONE!

Why is Jason now constantly talking like he’s reading an ad? His intros/interviewing/narrating used to sound so authentic & off the cuff, now every single thing sounds scripted. Audio quality is also struggling :/

I was curios about this episode but a few minutes in I had to shut if off. The amount of “like” “whatever” and “who cares” from Hannah made it impossible to listen to. Big miss!

The episode with Hannah Godwin is amazing! I immediately clicked with this episode when Hannah said “This is the year of Hannah”. As a fellow Hannah, this is what I have been saying to everyone this year: make this the year of YOU! Focus on yourself and good things will come. Hey Jason and David, You guys have been a breath of fresh air on Monday mornings. I’m a mom of two little kiddos working full time with some health challenges. Your podcast puts a smile on my face every week. And jason as you say in restart roadmap I know you had the Sunday scaries . I don’t have that anymore thanks to this podcast. This podcast is my me time. I listen while I drop my kids to school and what a gift it is to be able to learn about finances from so many different angles and viewpoints.
