    Fantastic sound design, unsatisfying plot
While the sound design in this is perfect, definitely the best of any podcast I’ve ever listened to, the plot felt like it didn’t resolve neatly. We didn’t get answers about the biggest mystery in the story, and Wallace’s character arc didn’t feel like it properly resolved.

    Sneaky Subscription Method
I tapped the "free" preview and ended up being charged for it. Bad practices.

    Brilliant!
My husband and I were obsessed with listening to shipworm. We listened to it twice and just want more!! The creativity behind it was keeping us on our toes! We need more like this. Absolutely fire! 🔥

    Yay
This was soooo incredibly good. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and nearly cried twice. I will say, I understand the people saying they hated the ending. I was happy with it, but I almost wished it stopped when he used the hammer. However, I did like the closure. Anyways, I think we would all love more of these! Fantabulous.

    Tense and Thrilling
This is exactly what it says on the tin. A thrilling, dark story that's tense right up until the end. Kept me on the edge of my seat!

    Wonderful.
    Thank you.

    Favorite of All Time!
Love everything about this- the movie-style format, the story, acting and twists & turns. Just like a favorite movie, I find myself listening to this again and again. Hope ‘the voice’ ends up in the head of someone new and we get another!

    Awful
The acting is great, it is well written, but awful awful ending and a waste of time.

    Incredibly Fantastic!!!
I’m convinced everyone complaining about the ending and saying it’s underwhelming or that the writers bit off more than they could chew clearly listened to a different podcast than I did. This was such fantastic writing and voice acting. After what a letdown season 2 of Limetown was, I’m pleasantly surprised to see Two-Up put this out. Amazing work and congratulations to everyone involved with this one!

I really enjoyed this - great performances deliver an intriguing and tense thriller. Highly recommend!

    First time listener
This was my first ever “audio movie.” I was transfixed in a way that other media has not been successful. The acting was amazing, the Foley sounds fantastic, and I really got into the storyline. Wow!

    Amazingly done
As a person with adhd i often find it hard to sit down and watch an entire movie. This was so much easier to get through than a traditional movie because I didn't feel tethered to a screen, afraid of missing any important details. overall, 10/10 would recommend, great story and a great way to occupy your mind while doing other things like chores :)

    Unsatisfying ending
Interesting premise, but did not like the ending. Felt like I was left hanging, but not wanting more.

I CANNOT BELEIVE THIS...What were you ppl THINKING???
So with all the crap the world has been dealing with, our entertainment offerings are this kind of CRAP? I kept listening and hoping it would get better. Kept on thinking that it will get better. But, I just cannot get that it was such a HORRIBLE STORY - where is the part in a story where someone who is put through this kind of crap - being FORCED with threats of death to his baby and wife, who actually saw that a person he saved from dying in the fire was made to die again because he tried to save that man which was a disciplinary action by THEM because he actually went against what they forced him to do - where is the portion in the story that has him being saved from the fact that these ppl were so horribly forcing him to do. His life was ruined, his good rep was destroyed, his career damaged beyond repair all becasue he was chosen to do these horrible things for corporate espionage??? Who are you people? We need happy endings in this time of life with the world having gone through and still suffering from a worldwide pandemic. I just cannot understand it. NO! NO! NO!

Very different than 36 questions. Was an interesting story with good promise that made me feel it fell short

    Impressive production, writing falls flat
This had so much potential and the voice actors were great but the writers got a little too ambitious and left it up to the audience to put together the pieces of 3 incomplete puzzles mixed into one box.

    Excellent story
    Really loved this podcast movie.
  • alsawr
    Shipworm
Very engaging show with a beginning, mysteries, and most importantly a ending that wraps the story up. Really don’t like stories that leave you hanging until the next series gets published

    Not very interesting
The story was eventful but often felt kind of directionless, especially the ending.

What do do after Lime Town.
After listening to Lime Town I don’t think that a relatively short two hour story could stand on own when compared, but Shipworm didn’t disappoint. This one is worth repeated listening. Thank you.
  • Kendawg1017
    Very nice
I didn’t know what to expect when I accidentally found this “podcast” I’ve never heard anything like it and very much enjoyed it. The acting was very good and so was the story. When it ended I was wanting more.

    Almost amazing
I didn't think my attention would be captured enough to listen to a whole movie without any visuals but it was! It was a very well done production and my imagination filled in all the gaps. Thee reason for my three stars is that there are definitely some things about the plot that don't make sense or simply were not explained. So I think there are some kinks to work out for this media type. Still a fun listen. I believe like any okay pilot to a great TV show, the best is yet to come for audio movies. Can't wait to listen to another one!

    Almost too good
This entertaining thrill ride had me on the edge of my seat, cringing at the situations the main character was in and enthralled by the twist and turns. Every time i though the story would go right, it went left. Couldn’t recommend more highly
  • Bethanyrooster
    Well done!
Some of the best acting I have ever heard! Such a good story line. Left me wanting more but I get that it's a movie. I loved this!

    Fantastic story and characters
The sounds and characters were amazing; I thought the writing was top notch. You can vision this happening on a large movie screen through the sounds and voices. I wanted more with the end but that does not take away from the story.

    Definitely held my interest
Slick production. Great ramp up all the way through to a chilling climax. Ending leaves a bit to be desired, but not by any means a regrettable ride. I’d love more fiction podcasts in this format.
