UPDATE: another hijacked podcast by REALM, IMHO! This once great podcast is abandoned?????? What an exciting new podcast drama, acting: AAA+++, production value: AAA+++, story line: AAA+++. One of the best podcast to come down the pike since 1/2020. Waiting for each episode with baited breath! Such a well done production. My only fear is, as other excellent podcasts have come down the pike, they disappear, and leave us having to listen to the failure’s that are flooding the drama podcast genre’s. This podcast however is so well written and the acting is stellar. Please, continue this fine podcast, it is like a fine wine, only getting better as it continues, the actors are superb, and so believable bar none! Thank you, for such a wonderful intense and exciting drama, one of the best to show up since the start of the pandemic!!! WE WANT MORE!!!!

Dark Woods is fantastic i can’t wait to hear more…but wait… here we are over a year later and no new season? No explanation? Why should I subscribe to Realm if I can expect disappointment?

The characters are real and believable, giving credence to a show that might otherwise feel like a repetitive rendition of insidious events taking place in Humboldt County. Incredible podcast.

This series had to be the most well written, entertaining and well acted podcast drama I have ever listened to. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every episode and sincerely hope there’s more like this to come! Update: it’s November 2022 and still no work of a season 2?! Still hoping.

This podcast is like a crime or mystery to be solve. The audio feels like you are watching a live on the big screen.

I loved this podcast. It was so good and kept me hooked. Until I got to the last episode. It’s basically just Ozark now. The cartel guys name is even Omar……

Stumbled across this by chance and I absolutely loved it. Can’t wait for more.

Skip it. Typical crime drama, and that makes it boring. While the production value is high, the story they’re trying to tell is old hat (i.e. cartel and mining company bad). Also, serious issue with the treatment of an autistic character.

Please make more!! I could listen to this show forever. Waiting on season 2!

How can we not get a season 2 update?! This was SO immersive and gripping I loved every minute of it. But what a cliffhanger ending!!! PLEASE WOLF ENTERTAINMENT!!!

This was an excellent listen that kept me engaged the entire time. The last episode did leave a lot to be desired however, and I’m hoping that it was a cliffhanger and not a rushed finale. Overall I really enjoyed this story!

I want to like it, I’m interested, but aggghhhh…as some one who grew up in NorCal and the PNW, hearing the cast mispronounce the names of towns, places, and counties where the story is supposed to be taking place is painful.

This was easily one of the best audio dramas! Everything was so well done. The voice acting, the plot, and the twists. It kept me on edge and wanting more! I can’t say enough of the voice acting, it was amazing. The actors went so above and beyond! Every episode felt so raw and emotional. Truly amazing. I hope they continue the series and I can’t wait for more!

10/10 okay this kept me awake for a long drive and listen to back to back! need more

There's a few refreshingly bold narrative choices in this story... times where I thought 'No way they're going to go there'... and then they would!

This is easily one the best audio dramas I’ve ever listened to. The voice cast is phenomenal, and Corey Stoll leads the way with one of the best performances I’ve ever heard. Highly recommended.

So when is this coming back? I have to know what else happens I love the storytelling and how it’s going.

Honestly loved this podcast. But it was physically difficult to listen to at times because of the constant deep sighing. From the lurking mouth breathing to the dramatic deep sigh every 5 seconds, it made headphones impossible.

When one of the best characters was killed off towards the end I thought his death would mean something. Instead in my opinion it went unresolved and it was unsatisfying. I don’t think he needed to be killed. I was also expecting a complete ending to the season and not a cliffhanger but that’s on me. The acting is incredible. I really loved the show up until the last couple of episodes when it became clear that it wasn’t going to be the nice ending with a bow on top that I expected.
