I’ll never forget the day I sat in the Single Parent Sunday school class, at one of the the largest Baptist churches in Houston, TX, feeling ostracized. They were teaching in salvation or grace, and I mentioned predestination. The “teacher” then stated that they don’t talk about that because it divides churches, and that God’s wish is that none perish. As soon as I got home I googled if that were true and came across this podcast. Though I was already starting to feel uncomfortable at the church due to things I’d observed, and because I follow John MacArthur, knew that sound doctrine wasn’t being taught on every topic, this solidified it. I’d have to walk away from all the “benefits”(being able to go to retreats and other functions free because I was poor, and fully trust God. Though I was already born again, God used that situation to lead me to knowing how to STUDY the Bible, and learn HOW that happened, through Dale and Veronica.

    Wisdom
Thank you for sharing your wisdom. It’s a great way to grow and learn outside of Sunday morning. I just ordered Simple Theology: A Gospel Catechism for Kids. I am very excited to read it with my kids. Thanks for everything.

    Thankful
I’m so thankful I found this podcast. I’m buying Dale’s book, A cover for Glory. I’m excited to listen to more.

    Best Podcast!
I went all the way back to 2018 to listen to the old marriage podcast with Dale and Veronica and they are absolutely incredible! I also love the most recent episodes as well. I saw Dale & Veronica are coming out with a new podcast soon and I am SO excited! Relearn is my favorite ministry!

    Wise biblical teaching
Since I began listening to this podcast, my theology and mode of approaching scripture has been radically changed for the better. Pastor Dale’s teachings can be hard, but they challenge you to view scripture in a higher light than you do your personal opinions. There are still many things Pastor Dale preaches that I don’t initially agree with, but I don’t view that was a bad thing. Instead I see it as an opportunity to truly consider a point of view I would normally dismiss, and instead weigh it against the scriptures in prayer and humility. Often when I do this, I realize that my first impression was wrong! Glory to God for His faithfulness to bless the contrite and humbled heart with wisdom. I’m grateful for this reliable podcast that seeks the worship of God above bowing to current culture.

    Reverence with Sola Scriptura
Dale, I’ve been listening to your challenges and admonition for the Church for a while now. I am grateful for how all of your discourse has driven me to the Word. Be it head coverings, house church, eschatology, or even “reverence and awe” with our soul and body in today’s podcast. Thank you. For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To God be the glory forever. And thanks to Veronica for her faithful service in her occasional commentary with you and her constant support “hidden” on the homefront. I see you and I know the Lord and your husband see you! What a beautiful team you are as you magnify the Lord together.

    Refreshing!
Gentlemen, Thank you for opening this topic up in the Christian community! It’s a delicate subject, that benefits from careful conversation. It’s been my experience that humans hold strong views about health and wellness and like almost anything, it can be used to divide. So I appreciate you putting it out there if just for the simple example that Christians can talk about it with respect and honor. I also appreciate how you mentioned the long road of healing. For 35 years I’ve been seeking to gain better health. After 19 years, and 8 children I received a Celiac diagnosis, adding to a Hashimoto Thyroiditis diagnosis 2 years prior. We’ve been experimenting with many different foods and supplements for years, and still are, yet feel as though what I’ve been learning the past 3 years makes the most sense and has given me the most peace. I want to introduce you to the detoxification and rejuvenation teachings of Dr. Robert Morse. He isnt a Christian ( but I’m praying for him ), so his spirituality is off. As a Naturopath, Master herbalist, and Chemist, with over 45 years of experience bringing people back to “ Wellville “ as he puts it, I commend him to you and your families. I know God will give you wisdom. He teaches that In order to clean and strengthen the body, we benefit from a high fruit and vegetable diet along with herbs to assist the body in healing. To contact his office for free advice, see his website. And to listen to him speak on specific topic try the search engine Rawfigs.com and type in whatever topic you want to hear him talk about. May God enable you to flourish!

    Women Speaking Up IS Christianity
Women were the first ones to announce that Jesus rose from the dead. The religion you say you are about hinges on WOMEN TALKING. Women sharing the “good news.” That, to quote NT Wright, is not a flash in the pan. That is the beginning. Women knowing. Women boldly speaking up and telling men, “No, you’re wrong. I know what happened.” Dale is a continuation of the curse, not the gospel. But whenever you want to honestly change, there is so much love and goodness on the other side. Humility and willingness to learn from all is clear through all of Jesus’s ministry. So when you want to drop the hate, come on over. And for gosh sakes, leave the people with dogs alone. Did you know that some people take their dogs AND their kids to the dog parks? And that dog parks are lovely, protected green spaces in cities where humans can glimpse the beauty of God’s creation like flowers and trees? It’s true!

Dale does for Church what he did for business.
Dale’s positions comes from a shallow understanding of history, context, and theology, but this is nothing new for him. His only point is to sell his books and study materials. New product... same Dale.

    Very Informative and Real!
Hey Dale and Trevor! I enjoyed listening to the first part of Christ and chronic illness and looking forward to hearing what’s to come for the rest of that series. I came to your podcast after doing research online regarding Jesus suffering and the example that He set for us in dealing with suffering. I stumbled upon your site and listened to how you explained this topic as it related to scripture and us as believers/followers of Christ. Thank you for sharing your thoughts/experiences and expertise.

    Acts 2:38
I am new to the podcast. Just listen to your episode on baptism. Found it edifying, but hoped you would touch on Acts 2:38. In my personal experience, this particular issue has been a major point of contention. And Acts 2:38 has been the major point of reference. Thank you for your ministry.

    Absolutely awful
This podcast is so so bad. Dale share his wisdom to us underlings as if he were the only person that has any idea how to interpret scripture. He frequently contradicts himself and says things that are so unbelievable, I am left speechless. He thinks of women as subservient beings that exist to have children and follow their husbands command with no regard for their well-being at all. He has mentioned formula as not being a necessity implying that if you can’t breastfeed it’s a you problem. He also stated that a women “half naked breastfeeding two children is an immodest moment” and if “Jesus walks into a room you aren’t going to be doing that”. Why exactly would you not? Weren’t our bodies created in his image and designed to nourish our babies? Is a woman feeding her child the way you think she should ok as long as she does it in secret? This is one of so many discrepancies he spouts off. Insane. Stay away from Sith Lord Dale. I should note that I am a woman so I will need a man to validate that I am allowed to feel this way.

    Episode idea?
This is a good podcast. Can you do an episode on post millennialism and the tribulation/anti-christ?

Truth spoken in a clear, concise and comprehensive way!
I love listening to Dale Partridge! His uncompromising, unapologetic display of love to all Christians is refreshing and impactful. While struggling to find a physical church these episodes have helped guide some of my personal studies as a wife, mother and child of God. Thank you for your theological passions and sharing His word! God bless you 🙏🏻

    One of my favorite podcasts
I stumbled across this and have listened to so many now. I really appreciate the topics and the way they are delivered. In a time where it seems hard to find those unwilling to compromise on truth, this has been so refreshing and encouraging. My only regret….I wish I found it sooner because I was in Prescott last year and would have visited a service, if possible. I will continue to listen and share the episodes. Thank you.

    Disgusting misuse of scripture
Title says it. I walked away disgusted by Dale’s sexist unbiblical teaching of women not being able to teach other women theology and the Bible. Dale has a personal vendetta against women and it shows. To no even “allow” your wife to read a book you haven’t read or reviewed yet is appalling abusive behavior. Women are in chains and bondage if they follow your “unBiblical Patriarchy” views. All women should be under men, huh? No women managers, no women leaders, huh? Where do you get this hogwash?? You and these unbiblical views you hold are the reason why many have left - because they don’t know the true saving grace of Christ. Disgusted.
  • ihatedesignhome4ever
    Ignores Scripture, Promotes Opinions
Dale seems to ignore what is clear in Scripture in terms of application to his own life… like qualifications for elders… but rather promotes his own opinions as law and binds the conscious of many people to them. Self examination would go a long way for him.

    Roles of women, patriarchy
Both part 1 and 2 and answered so many things for me. Thank you! Excellent shows. I’ve always felt I had to attend ladies studies but always hated them. I’ve often said I wish I could attend mens study. So many things that seem wrong to me you address in these two episodes and affirm my concerns. I don’t have a pastor and lack a spiritual head right now, but these two shows did more to help me understand some things that were awkward in our last church and you help me understand why. I can’t really explain well but you taught me a ton here, I’ve never had a mentor to help me. You can’t know how impactful these were. I already cover my head but want to get your book and read it to better explain to women who object. Great podcast!

His views on women are alarming and cultish. But I’m a woman so what do I know.

    Thank you!
Dale, thank you for talking about this issue on 3 of your podcasts. My husband and I have a similar story to yours in our salvation. We now have a desire to live Biblically and look at everything through a Biblical world view. Our church is going through some of this issue and have succumbed to the culture. We are now seeing the truth of things and this series you have done has been a huge help and eye opener!! So thank you so very much for your work! God Bless!!

Crash course in How To Be Proud 101
Listen if you want to lose precious minutes of your life that you will never get back. Pay him $5200 so that you, too, can start a home church! It’s a steal. By the way, he graduated from the seminary he started, he’s in good standing with the rules he developed, he agrees with the statement of faith he wrote and he’s ordained by the church network he founded.

    Encouragement
Thanks Dale, I am encouraged by your podcast. I am only a couple months out from being excommunicated from a church because we sought to separate our daughters from the influence of the pastors 28 year old daughter who had been grooming them into feminism and ungodly actions. Oddly enough the pastors daughter had been teaching a woman’s Bible study and was highly revered in the church all the while dressing androgynously and rejecting to pursue marriage. We have had a rough year and I needed the encouragement I got from you. Thank you sir.

Less about Jesus and more about Dale
Dale talks more about himself than he does actual bible teaching. Stay far away.

The Most Biblical Teachings I’ve Heard
I love how this podcast is not afraid of talking about sensitive topics. I wish more pastors taught these harder topics! It’s amazing that even in what culture has become, women can know that they are loved in the biblical truth and structure that God has so intricately designed. Such biblically sound teaching! I am going to Bible college currently and I have come to the conclusion that I cannot use my degree the way I had originally thought I could, because no body talked about what the women’s roles are, like you have. I feel as though we are creating our own agenda rather than obeying God’s teaching. They have pushed for women to teach and preach, and through my own independent study of Scripture and other more conservative teachers, I’ve have the opposite to be true. Us women need more of this!
  • drwhoschick
    Should women teach theology?
I really appreciate the timing of this message. This topic is something that has never quite sat right with me. I grew up surrounded by people who had no problem with women pastors but I never could agree with this issue. I've been listening to this podcast for a few years now and you never fail to give me something new to think about. I don't necessarily agree with all of your viewpoints but I enjoy being given a different perspective than I'm used too. I very much appreciate this ministry!
  • jebenitez
    Be careful
Dale seems to view women as lesser beings who should not be into the scripture unless under authority of their husband, father, or pastor. Women need to be spiritually fed as much as men and should not hold their husbands as more important than Christ. That’s my impression right now. Please be careful.

    Glad I listened
I’ve listened to a few of Real Christianity podcasts irregularly but saw the buzz about 222 and 223, so I listened consecutively this evening. I wanted to listen to the “horse” so to speak versus opinions about the podcast only. I found it very graciously explained and leave without being offended. I can’t say I fully agree yet, but there wasn’t anything glaringly shocking to me about it. Although, I do have significant reservations about Doug Wilson after hearing first hand experiences at his church. I’m a victim of a few different assaults in my childhood through early adulthood, and it concerns me the things that light has been shed on. I’m not convinced of the Biblical patriarchy position at this time, but I’ve always leaned pretty much complementarian though I didn’t know that is what is was called years ago. I just knew the Bible and said that women are to be subject to men, willfully, in the same way Christ willfully submitted to the Father. I know Christ and the church is what marriage is to represent so I’m not trying to mix that up, just pointing to a desire to willfully submit because we desire to honor and glorify God above all. My hesitance with these episodes is the stance on Bible studies for women in this modern age. Not everyone has a homestead or is called to have one. Not everyone has a bunch of babies or the husband might say he doesn’t want anymore than a specific amount. We have more free time than the women in our history so our time today will look different because of this. We meet the needs of the community and church community. We school our children, we plan and execute seminars, mission dinners, etc etc. but there is much added room for learning, which I think might be needed because of the cultural war we are in now. Women need to understand doctrine and apologetics (sound of course) to help protect their kids, to combat every little thing and have an answer at all times. Academic theology plays a role here, and my husband may have zero ability to dive into that stuff with his 60+ hour work week while I have the flexibility to do so within his knowing about it. We go to a church that does women’s Bible studies. The entire elder board are Master seminary grads or have been proven by their character and life that they are godly men who protect and serve the body. We have a women’s board with an elder who oversees it and signs off on our studies. We have no “teacher” because we are doing inductive studies of a book of the Bible. We just have female facilitators. If there are difficult passages we might have one of the teaching elders or the primary pastor come and expound on it. I don’t see how this is going beyond the authority of our husbands or is dangerous when it’s vetted and sound. Sundays are expository. Sunday school is usually on Biblical truth practically applied to life circumstances. People are coming by the flocks to our church because of the heavy legalistic hands they’ve experienced in churches elsewhere often in regards to the roles of women and children. Our church is by no means perfect but it is healthy and able to be stood next to Scripture and seen as such. So I guess this hill seems an odd one to argue over too much. I appreciate the thought on it for sure. It’s definitely controversial among fellow believers though. I hope the lines of communication remain open and allows for further discussion.

    My goodness
I first encountered Dale on Twitter where I saw he was talking about a book he was writing about head covering. Then, I saw he asked a pretty good question about whether or not women should teach theology to men (paraphrase). Since then, I listened to his podcast and I can honestly say he’s quickly becoming one of my favorite theologians. He’s clearly well studied and tries hard to be biblically faithful. Highly recommend.

Thank you for providing wonderful discussions on that are Biblically sound. I am so thankful that I was guided to your show and I listen every week. What a blessing!
I came across Mr. Dale Partridge from listening to Heidi St. John’s podcast, Off The Bench. What a blessing it has been to be able to listen to this Truth Warrior! Especially during these dark and confusing times, he constantly reminds us who our anchor is and not to settle on following our feelings. Keep on doing what you’re doing and may The Lord continue to guide and protect you and your family! Btw, I purchased your book, Jesus and My Gender and we cannot wait to share it with our 2 young children. Thanks again for all you do!

    Nutrient Dense Podcast For All
I started listening to Dale & Veronica this week while studying what it is to be a Biblical Woman of God. I stumbled upon their 2 part series and was blown away. Their gentleness, knowledge, and density of The Word inspired me to take notes and gave me more biblically centered information than all of my 26 years in a well known Mega Church. They breakdown the root, various translation, and context of scripture in such a careful and methodical way. In a world full of interpretations and opinions, they really wrestle with the truths of scripture and my life has been enriched by their Podcast. Thank you Dale & Veronica for using God’s wisdom and sharing with us all!

    Concerning, possibly a scam.
I used to listen to this podcast faithfully, from day 1. However, I started to notice some concerning trends that I think Dale needs to address to his listeners, followers, and everyone who pays him: He quotes himself more than he quotes Scripture. Go to his Instagram and you’ll see. Very little Scripture and a lot of his own quotes and hot takes, maybe followed by some very surface-level reading of Scripture. Some quotes he attributes to himself but are not really his (multiple news articles outlined his plagiarism). Every time someone offers up a concern, he responds with a prideful, unbiblical response. It seems every topic is always very harshly delivered so as to get the most engagement (negative or positive) and gain favor from the algorithms. He used to post YouTube videos about gaining a cult following, how to become a millionaire without going to college, etc. but starts a Master’s program in theology? How, without a bachelor’s degree? And starts his own seminary like 1 year after becoming reformed and charges men exorbitant amounts to attend? When he was married for less than 10 years he held marriage retreats for thousands of dollars? Why is everything so expensive, Dale? How does that make you any better than Joel Osteen? Every “tradwife” and “tradhusband” on the internet is is somehow connected to Dale and uses a very similar posting style? So much of the content they post has absolutely nothing to do with the Bible, even for the many of us who hold a complementarian view. Just a lot of extra-biblical nonsense. I have very grave concerns that a lot of this is just for money and that he found a niche, has drawn people away from church to pay him money to be able to plant house churches after being told their churches are not worth their time. A house church should be free to start, if a believer is so called. Why would you need a theology degree from someone who has been reformed for 2 seconds? It all just does not add up, Dale. Praying for the Lord to soften your heart and grant you humility to address these matters and humbly seek Him, and not for financial gain. The Lord flipped tables for a reason.
  • jordanandcompany
    Used to be good
I used to love this podcast listened to it every week. But since Dale has become Calvinist it just seems like he is not teaching scripture anymore just trying to convince everyone that Calvinist is right. I think we have to be careful in general reading scripture through a lens. I wish he would get away from just trying to convince everyone that predestination it true and go back to where the podcast started out. It was so much edifying. If you want good teachings go back and listen to the original teachings there solid. Avoid the newer ones he is just pushing Calvinist beliefs. Find something else to grow from.

    Great listen!!!!
I’ve just recently started listening and I’ve struggled over the years being a virtuous woman and a Godly wife. This podcast has helped me understand my role and recommit myself to God, my husband and my marriage.. I do wonder how I can reach either of you to ask a question?

First of all my family and I give thanks to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ for choosing Dale, Veronica and there wonderful family. The podcasts are very well done. Seems Honest
I would give 5 stars but I feel like some of the stuff is based off the Calvinism belief system which based what I have studied is not based off scripture. It’s a man’s twisted concept of what Christ said. Would love to hear his take on Calvinism and how it has unfortunately crept into the modern day church.

    Roman’s
Really good breakdown on Roman’s . I just finished reading it on my own , now going back and listening really helped . Wish I could find a pastor who just taught the meat like this podcast does instead of trying to fit in jokes anywhere they can to keep the congregations ears open.

One of the best Christian podcasts available
Anytime anybody asks me for a recommendation on which theology podcast they should listen to, this is one of the first ones I mention. Every subject that is talked about in this podcast is thoroughly analyzed and critically thought through. Once you start listening to the podcasts and see the exegesis and critical thinking behind Dales rationale, then you will see that my high praises hold true. I’m very thankful for this brother!
