It’s weird to say that a show that deals with a heavy topic like medicine can be heavy but these guys keep it light. I feel like I get an honest view of what it’s like to work in medicine.

Fun loving hosts, great practical advice, some off topic hilarity. What more can you ask for?

Irreverent and educational. The chemistry between the two hosts carries the show. Between the two of them, they sound like they know what they're talking about. They have grown their audience by word of mouth and building a good reputation (I am not above being bribed, just saying). The show has covered a broad range of topics- from nursing education to CBD to kidney stones to diabetes to sexual health to workplace and lateral violence to Star Wars vs. Star Trek medicine. They occasionally have guests that bring the show to a higher level of podcast goodness. Ben and Tom are humble enough not to need to be the smartest people in the room (holding back the easy shot here). They demonstrate a genuine love of learning and caring for fellow humans and a passion for healing. Keep up the great work and you might move from the okayest podcast to sorta goodish. Your awards went out in the mail with the check.

Extremely rude and unprofessional towards others who hold disagreeing positions. “I hope the kangaroo eats her baby.” Literally they said this of someone who they labeled as a “quack” but nevertheless unprofessional attitude towards patients and others. Waste of time. Unsubscribed after 1 episode.
