    First time listener
Great show about Bauer and the four teams leading mlb. Son played in the angels system so was curious what they had to say about them. Having grown up in SD always a TG fan even as SDSU. JR sounds just like home, love it!!!!

Understand the game from many points of view. Players, media, writers and announcers all brings their different views of the game.

Bad Take on LaRussa vs Mercedes
First, for the 123rd time in a week and a half, podcasters and Twitter imbeciles IGNORE the fact that a 28 yo journeyman “rookie” with past discipline and commitment issues either IGNORED a take sign or didn’t get it by not paying attention. This ISN’T Tim Anderson or Abreu, it’s a 28 year old rookie who cannot, I REPEAT, CANNOT run the clubhouse!!! Oh my God. What are you even insinuating??????? That’s a horrible take. Period. The boss says to do something, you do it. The boss says don’t do something, don’t do it. Period. Discipline is RUINING BASEBALL? GTF outta here.

    Audio Quality
Really love the content, but I’ve had to turn it off due to audio quality at times because it legit rings my ears. Please fix guys!

    Almost there...
Tony is a professional broadcaster, surely he knows the importance of good audio quality. Get him a professional mic and this podcast is pretty good. Especially as a catch all for what’s going on around the league.

    Swoboda podcast
Jon, this was a wonderful 30 minute walk down memory lane with Rocky! I was 15 and a diehard Yankees fan but I loved that Mets team. They were like the Yankees little brothers. How could you not cheer for Tom Terrific and the gang? Loved Swoboda’s inside stories. I went to the big doubleheader sweep (snuck into Shea!) over the Pirates in which the Mets won both games 1-0! And I believe the starting pitchers also were the hitting stars! Truly a great listen! PS. I’m with you, Quall’s bit was a cheap flare and not a line drive that somehow Swoboda recalled incorrectly!!!!

Jon and T make a great team, good contrast, good guest lineup.

    Who produced this?
Sounds terrible. Biggest media company in the country and they produce a podcast that sounds like 2 kids recorded on cellphones. Terrible

    Josh is unlistenable
Thank god he left the Mets radio. Always sounds like he’s trying SOOOO hard to be funny. He’s not. Too wordy. Too much. I like Jon Heyman and the interviews. Get Evan Roberts to host the Pod.

Awesome that Heyman has his own podcast away from WFAN work. Let’s Him deep dive and provides very interesting content. Always been a huge fan of John and his way of presenting baseball storylines in a way that caters to both sabermatrician types and the average fan. One thing I’d say is player interviews aren’t needed. We’re inundated with access to players. Interviews or really discussions with executives is much better. The Nick Kraill (Reds GM) interview was tremendous.

Radio.com is a pioneer in digital content! So brave!
As a sports fan, I didn’t really have much options to listen to baseball talk. That’s why I was so thrilled when the visionaries at RADIO.com and Mr. Mike Dee came up with a concept of just guys sitting around in a totally conversational way and talking about skip (baseball lingo for manager) and the local 9 (there are 9 players on the field) while getting their jersey’s dirty (there is dirt on a baseball field and baseball players wear jerseys) and talking shop. Such a concept could only be invented by the great minds at RADIO.com S-P-O-R-T-S who are true visionaries and know exactly what the target demo of 18-45 wants to talk about, good ole fashioned S-P-O-R-T-S! There is no other radio station in the country that could come up with such a concept, which is why I am a loyal P-1 and will only listen to RADIO.com S-P-O-R-T-S . Thank you RADIO.com S-P-O-R-T-S for understanding and having the vision of how to enter the digital realm in a totally crowded digital market and differentiate the show as something people must tune into.

    Baseball is brutally boring
This podcast is so bad I unsubscribed after the first two minutes. Honestly, I can’t believe I even lasted that long. Thankfully I used Roman before listening. The opening, which sounds like the opening of a Jerry Bruckheimer film, is so typical of boring sports talk. Baseball is boring. It’s a dying sport.

    Great podcast!
Love the inside info from Heyman, and Davis and Gwynn Jr. provide great player breakdowns!

    Finally Good Baseball Content
With all the talk of “baseball being too boring” and ESPN and other media outlets doing less and less baseball coverage, this is finally a good podcast for baseball fans. Audio quality could be a little better but the content is great and gives a solid overview of goings on around the MLB. Looking forward to listening to this for months to come!

Sounds like a tin can on a string
The audio is awful and the content is boring. Also, they spent countless seconds on the cover art and title.
