    Redefining the Magic of Travel
I have really enjoyed this podcast. Especially at a time when the world is pretty shut down and travel and small interactions with people aren’t happening. I love the personal stories that Daniel and his guests share about unique experiences they have had. I have traveled a little and I always find my favorite moments are not the big touristy spots but the little moments of discovery. My tiny little complaint that held me back from a full 5 stars is sometimes I feel a little preached to on political subjects and I just don’t enjoy that on any level. But overall it’s a wonderful podcast!

    Very inspirational! Forget the haters.
Love, love, love this podcast! I’ve listened to all the episodes several times each. It has really inspired me to travel the world and not be so selfish about it. Saving the planet, sharing with the less fortunate, being a tourist in my own town and so many other cool tips! So if you’re the type of person who has an excuse for everything, or can come up with every possible reason not to travel, and who feels like they’re “too poor” (if you’re generous people will reciprocate) or “not privileged enough,”(stop making everything about yourself) or some other whinny thing you left on your review, then this podcast is not for you. Go listen to something else, possibly something about how to become a human mole or some other subterranean being. But if you’re all about new experiences and you’re not afraid to toss away the itinerary. I strongly recommend this podcast. You’ll learn to travel in a way that is more and more enjoyable each time you leave your house.

    Meh
It can be interesting. And I honestly think the host tries to share inspirational stories of his travel. But he just comes off so pompous, while trying to cover it up with humbleness. Also, I take it as his way or the Highway. I think the show is salvageable but in my opinion he needs to try a more realistic angle to connect with the audience.

    Instant Favorite
I just started listening to this podcast yesterday, but it instantly became one of my favorites. I love traveling, and was drawn in by the mix of Daniel’s personal stories, the historical exploration with Holly, and local interviews from various places. I immediately wanted to cancel all my plans, pack a bag, and go on an adventure.

Currently enamored with this podcast of travel ethos and the discovery of self and life through the magic of experiencing the world. I feel as if I’ve found a kindred travel spirit. It’s a calling to adventure. Thou Shalt.... love it.

    Privileged outlook
Listen. The host tries to be aware of his privileges, but he misses the mark, constantly. His general attitude is that travel is a life must & if you don’t, you lack curiosity and your life is lacking. I don’t believe he’s ever genuinely engaged with a poor person; poor people have just been a collection of experiences in travel. Traveling for leisure is a privilege, and it’s a privilege the host clearly feels entitled too. I tried to like this podcast - as I am a formally poor person who now has the means for international travel, but his perspective is insensitive, unrealistic, and elitist.

    Lousy
After hearing this guy on Ridiculous History, I thought he was judgmental but decided to give this show a try since I love travel podcasts and thought the premise was intriguing. What a lousy show. Apparently his view of the world and travel is the only one that matters and anyone else’s opinion is invalid. He uses his well stamped passport to put himself on a pedestal above the rest of us peasants. The concept of this show could have been so great, bringing light to so many issues but unfortunately it is published by someone who finds himself very important, shining light on himself instead of the content.

Finally, a travel podcast I can relate with!
Throw away your list, put your phone away, and allow Daniel to help you experience the place you’re visiting in the moment. This podcast is incredibly refreshing and I love that Holly Frye is a guest host on every episode! Thank you for your episode on tea - as a daughter of a British father, I have a habit of bringing my own tea wherever I travel.

    Magical. Love it.
Not your typical travel show. Everywhere provides one of the most valuable gifts of travel - a new perspective on your world and your self. Daniel has magically brought that experience to life in this great new show that focuses not on vacation destinations, but rather on the transformative power of travel through discovery and adventure.

    Way too preachy!
I was interested in hearing about travel and interesting places. Instead I get preached to.

    Loving this
I am loving this podcast. Travel should be so much more than hotels and touring. I think the magic is in meeting the real people in each place, getting to know them and digging under the surface, and that is exactly what Daniel does. Love it!

    I fell asleep
Honestly so boring. He takes himself way to seriously and it shows. Not any amazing information and mostly ego boosting.

    Love!
I love when I listen to a podcast and I feel like I’m there with the narrator. Daniel is a wonderful storyteller and his accent doesn’t hurt either 😉 fantastic job!

    From Terry
Here are my reflections on your program, starting off with what I left as a comment on the site. Daniel is a very diverse and interesting guy who puts a different twist on the idea of "Travel". He also has the perfect voice for radio (call it podcast, I call it computer radio). In his first three episodes of "Everywhere". He has introduced us to some very interesting people, stories and ideas about how the most satisfying travel can be something other than visiting museums and galleries. Travel is about new experiences, new people and becoming more than a tourist. A must listen. I love your microphone voice, you were made to broadcast. I like how your commentary seems casual but I believe it must have been tightly scripted and well-rehearsed. You have some interesting stories that are not typical of “Travel programs”, but I especially enjoyed the retelling of your “Dogs in Egypt”. The “Nude Proposal” and the tie in to the wars in Sicily were enchanting. Of course the story of Edith made me want to bring a dinner jacket with me whenever we went on the road. You have had an excellent variety of guests. Holly Fry is a nice addition, but I really enjoy listening to Stephanie for the Smithsonian, (one of my favorite hangouts), and the lady who talked about cheese. They and the others you have had make an interesting time of it.

    Amazing
I could listen to Daniel’s voice and stories all day! His fun personality brings all these stores to life. So much fun to listen to.

    This is amazing!
Besides the fact that I could listen to his accent all day, his travel methodology is spot on. Drop the lists and open your mind! How I like to travel. Subscribed and can’t wait for the show to launch!
