Disclaimer: I am a fan of the podcast and think both Caitlin and Mark seem like really nice people. I do not want to offend anyone who works hard to make the podcast happen, so I hope my feedback comes off as constructive. I am also assuming the goal of this podcast is to grow a larger audience. Caitlin Cooper is one of the best analysts, basketball minds, writers, and even podcasters in the entire NBA. She notices little intricacies that I have never heard anyone talk about before, and I think she could be as big as anyone in sports media with her talent and knowledge. That potential makes it so frustrating when now two weeks in a row I have turned the podcast off before finishing because Mark is so frustrating to listen to. He has very little confidence or chemistry, and so the flow of the podcast is absolutely non-existent to the point where I would rather not listen. Below are two examples from Episode 300: First, Caitlin opens the episode talking about defensive rebounding. It is a fascinating topic that allows the audience to look under the hood of the pacers from a perspective we may not think about. As soon as she finishes her initial analysis, she passes it back to Mark for his thoughts. Rather than reacting to her ideas, he simply goes with his first topic. This defeats the entire purpose of what makes this podcast interesting by skipping over these interesting points of analysis. Mark needs to improve massively on playing off Caitlin. Second, Caitlin finishes her point about Nembhard and passes the “baton” back to Mark for his next topic. He spends the next two minutes saying “well… ummm… we have already talked about that…” saying nothing until finally coming up with the idea that Rick Carlisle being a good coach is the surprise. The lack of preparation was so annoying that I had to shut off the podcast. I hope for the best for the this podcast and think Mark has his own strengths he can play to. However, it would be really sad if Caitlin does not reach the level of success she deserves. All love and go Pacers.

You aren’t going to find better analysis of the game than you will from Caitlin and Mark. If you like learning the details and intricacies of the game through the lense of the Indiana Pacers, this is the pod for you.

Honestly as a journalism major myself I was looking at new things to get into and my professor recommended podcasts and I decided to find something I’m really interested in, of course being a huge Indiana Pacers fan it led me to find this podcast. Just listened to the newest episode today and I’ve gotta say the analysis and the overall commentary is amazing and it provides me so much knowledge not only about the Pacers, but about the game itself. Love this podcast and will be listening from here on out! Hopefully sometime soon I’ll be finding a job within the sports industry as I graduate this spring! Keep up the great work and Go Pacers!

I forced the title in there but I don’t care because this podcast is great. Not only is C Cooper a great journalist, she’s a great podcaster. I’ve learned so much listening to these podcast and her knowledge of the game is ridiculous. I almost certain she will be picked up for a better job so we should just appreciate her while we can.

Very good podcast for Pacers fans. I do enjoy listening to Caitlin’s breakdowns. My only constructive criticisms are that the audio can be almost unlistenable especially when Tom calls in on his phone and it gets old just hearing everyone agree with Caitlin. Perhaps adding podcasters with a variety of views would be more interesting.

Get your regular co-host something better than a dial-up modem. He is impossible to listen to. Or, better yet, get a better co-host: I got a particular laugh out of his comment from the latest episode that “(Charlotte) could beat anyone in the league when they’re playing their best.” That’s great, John Madden, but it also applies to every team in the league.

This show is fabulous. Caitlin Cooper has the best basketball mind of any writer on Earth, maybe of any person. Her analyses are insanely deep and detailed. And as someone that has played and watch bball my whole life, she makes me feel like I have a 3rd grade-level knowledge of the game. So so good, thank you CC.

Do not mix politics with basketball. Too much fluff, virtue signaling, hosts create an echo chamber and like to hear themselves talk and their own opinion, comes across as disingenuous. Primary host is young and a bit naive, not a Hoosier and is more in tune with hot food takes than the actual fan base.

Somehow just came across this today. Pacers fan since 94. Only listened to the most recent show but I enjoyed it. Keep up the good work

Mark always has a great rapport with various cohosts , has great questions or topics prepared for his guests. It seems like there is always a good balance in the tone of the show where it isn't overly scripted, yet everyone is well prepared and has thought out responses. I love discussion about the intricacies that come with team building, and the team at Indy Cornrows goes into that as much (and as good) as almost anyone!

It’s very refreshing to listen to a podcast with discerning fans instead of sycophants. It’s always a good listen with Mark & Tom. And I live it when Caitlin Cooper is on!

Always like hearing what others like to say about the Pacers, good or bad. Makes my day a little better.

I love this podcast! Very knowlegable on the NBA and great insight into Pacers. A must listen for NBA fans and NBA hoops junkies.

Listen to first Cornrows podcast today. I’m not a Pacers fan. I don’t dislike them but also not a fan. The knowledge and passion that came through from Tom and Mark was brilliant. I will be interested to follow the Pacers assuming this season starts back up. Be safe out there and Social Distance. Tom and Mark thanks for getting my mind off COVID19 for a bit.

Love the show, and absolutely love that you guys went out and grabbed Mark. This dude has a stellar podcast of his own, he knows his stuff, and he’s a ton of fun to listen to. Can’t wait to tune in for new episodes and get updates from the team from one of my fav podcasters!
