    Eh.
Really enjoyed the pod last season but over the offseason it became the B1G west podcast which has now become the Nebraska podcast over the course of this season. Why one of the 4 worst teams in the conference gets talked about on every single pod is beyond me.

Good Luck If Your Team is not Iowa or Penn State
Too much Iowa, what happened to the around the league rotating style? Myopic!

    Great pod
Great pod , good insight from around the B1G!

Is this just an Iowa podcast now?
Would love to see other voices to talk about other teams, not just Iowa

    A Modest Proposal
Great show. Would be nice to see a Big Ten East analyst on your show. Preferably from OSU/Penn State/Michigan. Walt from Los Angeles

    3 out of 5
Some great stuff but I skip Monday and Friday. I subscribe to the Athletic because I want real reporting, not glib editorializing (Monday) or bad gambling advice (Friday). Better versions of both can be found elsewhere. The Monday show was especially bad at covering Nebraska’s quarrel with the Big Ten (Dochterman later walked it back a bit). But it has also misfired on BLM and NIL, assuming that all reasonable people stand on one side of the issue. They do not.

    Ari is a tough listen
I like most of the days but yikes listening to Ari on Friday. Not my cup of tea. He is this weird combination of braggadocio, being wrong, and then whiny. After being 9 games under .500, he doesn’t rethink his analysis and where he went wrong. Instead he blames it on not knowing which players are starting. Jesse has the same issue but magically doesn’t have this problem. If you can’t reflect on what you’re doing wrong then how are you going to improve? Maybe come up with an analytical rationale and case as to why you made the pick and why it didn’t work out (hint: it’s not that some of the players barely changed). I give all the other days high marks. I’m still going to try and listen (it may grow on me over time) but probably just going to skip the big ten picks episode. Jesse, Scott, and Nicole are all amazing. That’s why I’m going 4 stars out of 5.

    Ditch Scott the Iowa honk
Isn’t there someone else on the B1G west to talk about the weaklings out west?

    No nail clipping!
Overall good update on big ten football, can’t listen on Wednesday’s as either Mitch or Scott was clipping his finger nails, which is worse than nails on a chalkboard when listening on headphones!!

All great shows except Monday but Scott does a good job on Monday
All great shows. Listen everyday except on Monday’s but Scott is still good.

    More Landis
Landis should be on every day. Also Landis should release an audio version of all of the articles he writes because the world needs more of the sweet dulcet tones of Bill Landis’s football analysis. Ari, the filet-o-fish is just OK

    Four thumbs up, 5 stars.
Scott Dochterman with Nicole is great and then Scott again on Wednesday, with Nebraska, just great content!! Great job!!

    Main Takeaway
    Bill Landis is a traitor.
  • Joey Blueskys
    Why?....WHY????
Love the content for my favorite team, and the occasional crossover hosts, but not every day I have to sort thru a bunch of podcasts of hosts for other teams that I don’t want downloaded. My choices are to go thru that inconvenience or unsubscribe. I know the Athletic is trying to drive people to listen to more of their content, but I won’t do that out of principle

15 min in and nothing but PSU
Should be titled the PSU (with a small bit of OSU) football show.

    Best Michigan Football Podcast
This is the best Michigan Football podcast available. Really enjoy when the fellas discuss how great Michigan is at giving the media access to the program.

    The Best Michigan Analysis
Nick and Austin bring honest and sober evaluation of everything Michigan. A welcome addition to my week!

    Great content, poor audio
Very detailed. However, I just can’t get over the poor audio quality. Quite honestly, it was much easier to listen to when recorded in the car.

Solid, Objective Conversations about Michigan Football
Nick Baumgartner & Austin Meek give objective, prepared, & complete analysis on the Michigan Football program. You can always count on these two to rationally analyze Michigan's direction - good or bad. They ask the questions that you'd want to ask the team. GO BLUE!

Glad to have a Nick Baumgardner Podcast
Glad to have the podcasts continue and to have an exclusively-Michigan theme! Glad to get to know Austin Meek, too! ❤️

    Two thumbs up!
I’m a long time fan of Nick and an instant fan of Austin. Both the first two shows were great. Nick and Austin obviously prepared well and it showed. The pod casts were packed with good info and analysis. Also, great chemistry between Nick and Austin. I have to thank Nick for being the main reason I subscribed to the Athletic. I’m impressed with the talented journalists on staff and delighted to be introduced to Austin who has already risen to the top of my list of UoM Football writers.

    Great info
Nick you “made” me pay for a subscription. Great listening and reading as well. Money well spent.

    Great Start!
I listened to the first subscriber only podcast on The Athletic. The discussions they had seemed very natural, easy and free flowing. Of course Nick has the advantage of being around the team for several years, but Austin also showed some great insight. This is going to be fun!
