This podcast is the only literary podcast I truly enjoyed and listened to all the way through. Diverse set of people, deep thoughts and insightful discussion, great dives into disagreements and always some laughs. This feels like sipping and snacking around the table with friends in your own book club, and I love it! I’m so disappointed that the show had to end, and I have not been able to find a good substitute to fill that void! I highly recommend listening to all the episodes they have, and I hope that one day these ladies will put out more wonderful content.

Waking up on December 14th to “Final Episode” was such a blow, especially since I’d just finished Fingersmith and was ready for some sexy discourse! I relisten to “The Hate U Give” episodes after the too frequent police shootings, I have mainlined Octavia Butler at Korama’s suggestion, I listened on audiobook to Jennifer’s books and really felt like I was having a book club with friends. Thank you for what you did give us, sorry I didn’t rate/review earlier.

I am going to miss the show. You’ve become my group of friends that like to read.

It’s Covid time and since I can’t get together with my usual group to chat books this is the perfect podcast to fill that gap in my soul. Love that they focus on books getting adaptations too, sometimes I didn’t even know there was a movie/show coming out about a book!

Love this podcast and the group of diverse ladies! I feel like I’m there with you in your popcorn club! This podcast helps me hear about books I should read then watch!! Plus I love popcorn, I’m glad you don’t eat it while talking about the book. That would make it hard to listen to because I’m an annoying popcorn eater. Ha! Well, this was fun! I’m new to podcasts but I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this group of women discuss a popular novel that is now an HBO series. Funny, intelligent, and thought provoking, these women address all aspects of the story and discuss it like you’re having mimosas at brunch. I’ll definitely be tuning in every week!

These ladies are fantastic. They talk about such great books that have real issues going on but also do such an amazing job of talking about the plots and characters. I feel like I’m listening to the girls in my book club chat. And I also like how they compare the book and the show sometimes, it’s great.

Feels like a wine night gossiping about great reads with my best girlfriends. Can’t wait for more!
