    Just love this podcast
Love the content and presenters, they narrate in a natural style without over the top dramatics. It’s a great idea to have one lay narrator and one medical doctor, the quality of content is great and I wish the series could continue, they re loads of stories and cases left to cover

Upset it is moving to Spotify
I like this podcast but I don’t like Spotify so I won’t be following the podcast there. I wish the owners would reconsider keeping their podcasts here and on Spotify. I’d still listen here, even with the addition of a couple commercials. Please stay here on Apple Podcasts.

    Dr. Kipper is fun
Shame it moved to Spotify, I might just have to download it now. I love Dr. Kipper’s witty deadpan introductions to the cases, so funny. I’m his is a very chill podcast, almost feels like listening to a tv doc. It’s got murder and drama with an educational vibe. I learn something new every episode. It’s more relaxing than many other true crime podcasts so I recommend checking it out if you need a break from all the gory details shows. Big thumbs up! 😁

    Good bye :(
Awww, I enjoy listening to this podcast. Would give it a 5-stars if they stayed on Apple Podcasts, but oh well! I’ll find another podcast to replace it. Good luck on Spotify! Will not be downloading an entirely whole other app :(

Love this podcast. Has great explanation and it’s easy to understand. Narrators do a great job. Spotify is a good move.

    Too bad
So sorry to hear you are moving to Spotify. I don’t like their platform, Apple makes it easier to find what I’m looking for. Like the podcast but won’t be following to Spotify.

Exclusivity is not the right way to gain fans, and you just lost one here. I’ll miss your podcast, but I don’t like the Spotify interface.

    Great premise, bad execution
Some major gripes I have with this show: 1. Dr Kipper has the most annoying voice and many of his explanations are unnecessary or redundant. E.g. it'll mention that a victim died of head trauma and he'll be like "head trauma is when there is trauma to the head..." Like yeah, fascinating stuff there doc. 2. Some of these just straight up aren't medical murders. I came here to hear about doctors killing their patients, not serial killers that also happen to be doctors in their off time. 3. Bad spacing(?): What could make a solid 40 minute episode is split into two 40 minute parts because there are so many ads and things are arbitrarily stretched to hit the two episode mark so that they don't have as much work to do. 4. Obligatory complaint that Parcast is moving to Spotify Other than all that, it's a solid listen. If you're interested in the premise, it'll probably be worth listening to. It just doesn't really stand out in any way and has some pretty major drawbacks.

    In general pretty great but..
This podcast is one of my favorites but since parcast is moving all of their podcast exclusively to spotify its gonna be harder to listen. Since I usually fall asleep to this every night. I will try to listen on spotify when i can but will miss this :/

    Hard pass on Spotify
Great show, bad move. Spotify has a history of not paying artists what they deserve. Sad to see you go, but I won’t be making the move with you.

    Waste of a good show.
Stumbled across this show while trying to feed my true crime obsession. Listened to a few episodes and I’ll be honest love the show. Very informative and entertaining. Would totally subscribe but not switching to Spotify to listen. Apple put all the podcasts in one place cause it’s convenient. Hope it comes back.

    Spotify Ruining Another Podcast
I know it will still be free, but I don’t need to have multiple apps for podcasts. It’s a shame Parcast is doing this to all of their podcasts; I really enjoyed a few of them.
  • Fran-na-na
    Love the podcast, but…..
Not happy that they are going to be exclusive to Spotify. Not using that app, so I’ll have to let this podcast go.
  • Yve1789
    Spotify, no thanks
I love this podcast, subscribed from the start, but now that its leaving itunes and will only be on spotify, I wont be able to listen and support anymore. Not a spotify fan. I will miss this podcast.

    Why leave us Apple folks?
I love this and other parcast stuff. It hurts to see you guys go exclusively with Spotify. You’re losing a loving listener. I’m not down to have another app just for podcasts.

It’s disappointing to hear the show will be moving exclusively to Spotify. You just lost a listener Parcast Network 👎

    Great content...but..
I really enjoy listening to this podcast. I wish they weren’t broken up in to 2 episodes but the thing that bothers me the most..is Dr. Kipper. His voice is so monotone, like he is reading straight from a book. Some of the explanations seem redundant or rhetorical. I’ve started tuning out when he starts talking. I may just FF like others have mentioned.

    The best podcast!
This is my absolute favorite podcast! I listen when I clean when I cook when I do anything. It’s very interesting how these stories are told and I just can’t get enough of these bone chilling Medical Murders.

    Top rate
The interplay between British narrator and American doctor is a treat for the listener.
  • Nkala99
    Amazing!
One of my absolute favorite podcasts! I love how we learn about the killers from the beginning, and the brief interludes t explain more technical medical facts is perfect.
  • miamomma3019
    One of My Favorites
I love this podcast and the two hosts. I do wish they would stop breaking up the episodes. I really dislike this and would recommend the episode more if each story were presented in one episode, allowing us to determine how much we listen to at a sitting.
  • mschack
    The watcher
I do not like the tandem of the host and cohost. I hope you just stick to the male host. The female co host sounds so annoying. Does not sound credible and not forceful enough. The trail of this story gets disrupted all the time as they both keep on asking questions and predictions... a lot of ad libs.... just tell the story and resign from the podcast already!
  • StephS90
Can Dr. Kipper please be MY doctor??!
I absolutely love this addicting podcast. Love that the episodes are long and most have 2 parts. I can listen to Dr. Kipper all day, he explains the medical aspects very clearly and makes me want to learn more. I wish he was my doctor, he seems to know everything about medicine. Overall both do a great job describing each case. I wish they released episodes more frequently! Thanks for a great podcast! Parcast never disappoints!

Get rid of that annoying voice!
Love this podcast; very interesting and the host is great. That said, please get rid of the woman who does the ads - that nasal Kardashian voice is irritating. Surely there are better voice over artists available.

    Solid show
Podcast is solid, host is great and dr. Kipper is beyond knowledgeable solid 5 outa 5
  • animalhousemom
    I love this podcast
I really like hearing the in-depth cases. Not only does it cover the facts, but also delves into the psychological aspects of the individuals who committed these crimes. The doctor’s input about the medical aspects of the various disease entities and causes of death is very helpful in explaining how and why the victims died. As a retired RN, I especially appreciate the time taken to explain the different roles of medical personnel, and the respect given to nurses.
  • barefoot03
    Very interesting
Details....research...endless hours of reading...thank you for your work! It’s all very interesting!
  • Mildre's Marie
    Generous star rating
No offense to MD but I also FF through doctor’s explanations, as most of his segments deal with information already known to the average well read individual.
  • Palje0294318355
    LOTS of ads
It started out mostly well, but between the frequency and duration of ad breaks and the strange choice in background sounds I’m out
  • Bebe551
    Just fantastic.
Never disappoints. The stories are really well done and the narration pulls you in. Just love it.
  • AbbyH113355
    Good stories; inaccurate medical info
The stories are good and interesting. There are many errors in the medical information especially around mental health. Additionally, the medical doctor causally mentions that a murderer must have had a mental illness and often assumes a mental health diagnosis without any evidence of this. This can increase stigma especially around violence and mental illness. I continued to listen because I liked the stories but I have to stop at this point.

    Quality Storytelling, Stranger than Fiction
Host Alister Murden has a favorable voice and tone for storytelling. And fluctuating between the story and expertise from Dr Kipper adds a nice balance. The musical score is well coordinated. I am a fan.

    I Love This Podcast
The Dr.’s opinion and information is my favorite part, it’s unique and helps me to understand whatever went down so much better. If you don’t want to listen to the Dr. talk, don’t listen. It can be a bit monotonous but only lasts about a minute. Don’t be jerks. The hosts are amazing and I can listen while scrapbooking and still be tuned in with both things, which is more than I can say about some other podcasts I have listened to.
  • louie12289
    Please stop being jerks
If you don’t like it than don’t listen

    Best show!
    Love these hosts!
  • Denadanurse
    Great
I really like this show. The doctor’s perspective is definitely appreciated. I also really like that most shows are divided into two episodes. Keep up the good work!
  • omg y r all nicknames taken?!
    Has potential but...
Has potential but the dr talking is as boring as watching paint dry. I have to fast forward each time he talks and it seems too much trouble. It’s annoying
  • TennisChick01
    Episode request!
Hi!! First of all love the show! Second y’all should totally check out the murderer Jeffrey R Macdonald. He was an army doctor who murdered his family on base Fort Bragg in 1970, super denies it and it took about 10 years to convict him.
  • KaitlynMarty
Interesting, but cut the Dr. please
Please cut back on the Dr. chatter. It’s too much, and often so basic. I appreciate a quick fact or two, but sometimes he goes on and on with 101 info. If someone wants that detail, then a true crime podcast isn’t where they should be looking. Plus his voice is so difficult to listen to- Monotone. It truly makes me want to switch to something else.
