The Pride and Prejudice episodes are wonderful. So many great observations. I have recommended to my Austen loving friends.

I really enjoy the format of this podcast. I’d enjoy it more if they didn’t talk over the woman.

    Bring it back Vice!!!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟God tier podcast with all time great critical coverage and selection of film analysis. Pride and Prejudice series is probably my favorite podcast episodes ever. Nothing out there comes close to it. Really loved each of the perspectives the crew members brought in this series. I would definitely pay for a patreon to revive it but that’s not how this works so please vice do the right thing

Scratches an itch like no other podcast!
Thoughtful, entertaining. Hosts have interesting commentary without being too precious about their own ideas on media analysis. Bring it back, please!

    All-Time
God-tier podcast. Great, in-depth discussions of media with interesting, diverse perspectives. The Pride and Prejudice run sparked a passion I never would’ve excepted from myself, and now I’ve watched that mini series like 3 times.

Be Good and Bring It Back
Obligatory 5 STAR PODCAST 5 STAR RUNTIME but honestly I loved this podcast. Never thought I'd listen to like 15 hours of content about Pride & Prejudice but I did. And then I watched it. And it was perfect.

FIVE STAR PODCAST FIVE STAR RUNTIMES Cannot wait for this to come back from hiatus this winter for the epic conclusion to the Waypoint Pride and Prejudice Saga as they tackle Death Comes to Pemberley on this feed!

    But did you rewatch it?
Thought this was a different podcast and started listening to the Clueless episode for a few minutes before realizing the hosts sounded different but decided to keep listening. Not sure why you are reviewing a movie you all barely seemed to pay attention to the first time and clearly only one of you rewatched it. Hosts didn’t know the characters’ names or even the references in scenes, dialogue, setting, etc. It would be more insightful to look deeper into who produced it/directed it and why they made the creative choices they did.

One star for each of the Bennet sisters
I have to admit that a gaming podcast would be just about the last thing I would choose to listen to (sorry - it's just not my interest). When my husband told me that Waypoint was doing a podcast series on the BBC Pride & Prejudice (the only Pride & Prejudice to have ever been filmed) I figured I had to give it a chance. I have watched this series dozens and dozens of times, which might be an undercount, and was still blown away by the insightful commentary that brought a whole new level to my beloved series. I have also listened to several of the other episodes of this podcast and very much enjoyed them as well. I'm never going to listen to a gaming podcast. Please come back from hiatus - two of the episodes about Pride & Prejudice got me though a miserable 85F half marathon. Please Please Please.

Be Good and Restart It (This Pod!)
I have just discovered this treasure of a podcast only to find that it's been discontinued :( These are gloriously enjoyable conversations by genuinely curious and insightful minds. They are also hilarious as heck. Love the diversity of viewpoints, historical contextualizing, and critical thought. The Pride & Prejudice series is an achievement unrivalled by any of the myriad of Austen-dedicated pods out there. Please come back to us Be Good and Rewatch It!

    5 star reviews of movies.
I just listened to the last episode and I’m sorry I never reviewed before this. It was a good one to end on though. I think the waypoint crew should have a show for everything. One for video games, one for movies, one for politics, another for food, fashion, fitness, makeup, tabletop, toys, travel, parenting, economics, sports, sex, scrapbooking, science, home renovation, art, religion, cats, cars, crafts, weather, modeling, etc.

    Brought me back
Earlier this year I was struck by a meteor and rushed to the hospital. This space rock was covered in dangerous radiation. Did this give me superpowers? No. Don’t be stupid. I have cancer. Aggressive cancer. The doctors gave me a month- but I didn’t even last that long. I literally died, and my spirit left my body. I remember hovering above myself and drifting out into the waiting room. My younger brother was out there- listening to this podcast. And it was so interesting, so fascinating and insightful that I returned to my body. I came back. For this podcast. And as I listened to each episode, the tumors in my body shrank. The wounds inflicted by the meteor knit shut. I was nearly recovered. Nearly whole again. A second chance. But- now.... now.... it is canceled? How??? When will the miracle return and finish the fight? Please.... #FiveStarPodcast #FiveStarRunTimes

5 star runtime, 5 star podcast
Because of this podcast, I got back into pride and prejudice in a major way. I forgot how much I love Jane Austen and the crew discuss the show in such depth that I’ve learned more about the book and it’s context in a way that has magnified my enjoyment. My friends and I have planned all our latest hangout sessions around watching it and discussing what parts of the show we enjoy with the added benefit of all the context and analysis that this podcast brings. Please bring this pod back. I want to hear everything and anything that these people are excited to watch and talk about.

An essential voice in film crit that has been missing for too long
If you had told me that I would listen to more than a dozen hours of deep critical reading of the BBC Pride and Prejudice this year, I would have called you crazy. Turns out I’m the crazy one, to my benefit. The cast focus their insight on a work unlike any other and deliver unexpected yet apt analyses that hone in on something fundamental. I am overeager to hear what they tackle next. Five star podcast, five star runtime.

    A five star podcast
So Jane Austin obsession aside this podcast is great and I enjoy sincerely the depth that they take with each film and subject. I hope Vice brings it back but hopefully with Austin being a bit more picky on which films end up being discussed. The unbreakable series was interesting, the purge series was my favorite. But to be entirely honest I don’t care for historical drama and I think many of waypoint’s fans wouldn’t be interest and in fact many might be too young to appreciate those sorts of films. But on the other hand, Rob getting so into period dramas was very fun to listen to.

    An Instant Classic
Be Good and Rewatch It is not the typical recap 'cast. Most of the media covered is older, they aren't covering the typical cult classics, and it's not the light fare ideal for commuting. That is why it is a must listen. This is accessible, interesting textual analysis that is only bettered by the diversity of topics. Start with whatever you've already seen or interests you, but be sure to make your way to the crown jewel of Pride and Prejudice, a series that puts pieces of other adaptations and the novel into conversation with each other and the BBC series. The discussion this births is the ideal version of a 2019 Austen critique, and while its roots lie with a videogame website, its a resource for anyone who consumes any media.

Five Star Podcast, Five Star Film Selection
I've been a fan of Waypoint for 2 years now, and this podcast was some of the best quality they've ever made. I was a little skeptical coming into the Pride and Prejudice episodes, but they immediately got me on board, and the energy Austin, Rob, and Natalie brought to those episodes both had me rolling in laughter and critically considering this work I'd never thought of before. This podcast is good, and I would love to hear more of it. But either way, great work, Waypoint team! You should be proud of this, its a phenomenal work.

I am reviewing both the podcast and its assorted runtimes. This is the best podcast to tackle both the Purge and Pride & Prejudice. Highly recommended!

As good as everything Waypoint does
Like all the best parts of Waypoint Radio, but with the most fun kind of going through media.

    For me to say
Thoughtful and fun analysis of television and film. It's always a pleasure to listen to the Waypoint crew and I was happy to see them branch out. I always learn something new listening to the show and look forward to hearing their insight. Keep up the excellent work!

This podcast a current favorite as it features the team at Waypoint having in depth conversations about shows and movies that are thought-provoking and entertaining. I come away from every episode feeling like I've learned something new, that I've heard something I have never considered. I strongly reccomend you give this a listen.

A 5 Star podcast for the ages
I literally subscribed the day before the hiatus, but I have no regrets. The energy and discussion brought to media I haven’t thought of in years was always fascinating and I left every episode with a new view on the material discussed. I’ll have fun going through the back catalog and keep my fingers crossed for new episodes.

Vice is sometimes a trash fire, but this one time they made Waypoint and in turn Waypoint recorded for hours and hours about Jane Austen and even though you don’t know you need that in your life, you do. You really really do.
