    I got UN-FEARED!!
RYAN Williams is the only person who has turned my terror of social media into fascination and appreciation. He embodies just the right amount of intellectual brilliance and humor so I can embrace this new technological tool. And at age 67 that says a LOT!!! I’m using it to promote my business. Thank you so much.

    Great for new business owners!
Ryan is extremely talented and delivers such great information in a way that’s funny, engaging and very thoughtful. As a new business owner myself, Ryan has been like a mentor! He asks questions that make me realize I needed the answer before I even though to ask such a question myself. I’ve gained so much valuable information through his podcast and recommend him to everyone!

    Game Changer
Chronically documenting the emergence of the new world order in real time, Williams is capturing the essence of the future through thoughtful interviews with some of the tech world’s most intriguing players. Recognition of both raw entrepreneurial spirit coupled with cutting edge platforms and methods of communication, this podcast begins to distill some of the concepts that will be studied retrospectively as forces that lead to the future we will one day enjoy. This podcast is broadcast completely in 4D. Welcome to tomorrow.

Who knew my neighbor was so cool
I’m just a young kid who doesn’t know about business or comedy, but I really enjoyed some of the topics and conversations Ryan dives into. Very insightful as wells as helpful, especially to those struggling with internal problems as Ryan gives advice on how to become better. Ryan makes it feel like a conversation, not a podcast. For it being my first podcast it was pretty good.

    Insightful, entertaining and actionable
I feel completely at home here, and bowled over by brilliant advice and nourishing conversations. :) Ryan and his guests give listeners an unfair advantage when it comes to creating the business and life of their dreams - highly recommend listening & subscribing to The Ryno Lab if you're interested in exploring your own personal and professional evolution & development.

    Outstanding. Actionable, original.
Amongst all of the content out there Ryan Williams stands out. His quality, values are humility is outstanding and refreshing. You'll find yourself adopting his P.O.V. and repeating his words ...(it's kind of scary...in a good way).

    Fantastic!
I listen to the Influencer Economy podcast when I go on jogs and walks. It's kind of like Chicken Soup for the entrepreneur. Bite-sized morsels of information for knowledge-starved, thirsty entrepreneur. Sometimes I run a few extra laps to finish listening to one more podcast. Two thumbs up!
  • speakergirl

    Always Learning
I was first introduced to Ryan on an advanced business call for Tai Lopez. "Wow," I thought to myself, "This guy has a ton of energy, motivation, and a refreshing dose of humility, honesty, and giving!" Apparently, it carries over to his podcasts, and I'm finding bits of gold that I can apply to my entertainment career. Even though I've built my skills over 22 years of performance, Ryan has shown me through his guests and own experiences, there's ALWAYS new, exciting things to learn! Thank you, Ryno!

    Inspiration for Entrepreneurs
This has to be one of the most valuable resources for entrepreneurs. I've listened for countless hours. Ryan does a fantastic job of extracting and conveying the messages of his guests. Those that are welcomed to speak on his podcast are diverse in scope of work, but seem to be consistent in levels of success and contentment. Stories Of The Influencer Economy reignites the fire within anytime I feel like I'm running low on fuel. Each episode has been a rewarding listen, regardless of who's featured. Give it a listen... you won't be disappointed.
  • gllams
    Very cool
The episode with the guy from Moz was great to hear. I think starting businesses can be very tough, as you have to learn to be your own advocate, and it's good to talk about the depression and associated feelings that can come along

    Excellent overview of Influencer Marketing
Ryan's format and list of guests are well-suited to his noble cause: exploring this 'hot mess' (to use the Wall Street Journal's term) of Influencer Marketing. Ryan's experience in the space, passion for the principles of the creator community (#collab, authenticity, sharing value through content) gives him the knowledge to make these interesting interviews and they are just the right length for your evening walk. Read the excellent companion book, too.

Best way to turn a bad day into a good one.
Literally. Ran up against more than a few roadblocks today, was feeling awful, shed a tear on the couch even. Decided to fold some laundry to help create some organization and figured I'd try out a new podcast. So glad I did. Inspired once again, I'm more focused and re-energized as a direct consequence of tuning in. Many thanks.

    Unique Content
Love that the episodes feature interviews with people you can find on most other shows. From agents to talent in the influencer market, this show tells it from perspective well.

    Interesting guests, but the host...
I've listend to a half dozen episodes of this podcast. I find the topic of "The Influencer Economy" to be interesting. I also enjoy the variety of guest that come on the show. It is impressive to book such a diverse and well-known group of guests. Unfortunatley, the thing that greatly reduces the strength of this podcast (for me) is the host. He is not unintelligent, or uninformed, but his hosting style leaves a LOT to be desired. He has one of the most flat, monotone voices I've ever heard. Mr. Data from Star Trek could teach him things about how to be expressive when he speaks... No joke. In one episode, he revealed that he used to do stand-up comedy. I almost fell out of my chair! I don't know if he was a funny stand-up, but the idea of him doing stand-up comedy is one of the most funny ideas I've heard in years (unless being monotone and robotic was his "schtick"). Beyond just his voice, he really needs a lot of work on his interviewing skills. He frequently rudely interrups his guests, to interject his own narrative into their stories. This is a cardinal sin for a host who conducts interviews, in any media! He also frequently makes strange statements that his guests find awkward, so a long pause will happen, as the guest struggles to think of a way to move past the weirdness, and get back on-topic. I think perhaps the host is MUCH better suited to be the Executive Producer of the show, rather than the host. The show is a solid concept, with solid guests, but the current host will always hold this podcast back from reaching its full potential.

A lot of talking about talking. Hardly any actionable information
The podcast had a lot of potential and interesting people, but it was lot of talking about 'how' the guest did what they did in developing a book, but little is learned. I.e 'you wrote a book about technology' -- 'yes, I talk about how you can discover new technology'. And that's it. "I started with nothing when I wrote this book." They talk about themselves. They talk about what they talk about, which is so common in podcast and a bit frustrating. There are small tips here and there but it's mostly very shallow information. The Seth Godin podcast is much stronger in that he teaches you specifically how to do these things. He doesn't just talk about himself and how he came to these thoughts; he talks about what those thoughts are and what to do with them. People want to leave with actionable information. I felt like these authors were holding information so you'd buy there book. It's like a long advertisement.

The new rules for how to play in the age of influence.
This is a fantastic show that taps in to some of the most influential minds on the web and beyond. Ryan brings a natural, conversational style and a genuine enthusiasm for his work that make each episode a joy. I just purchased The Influencer Economy book and can't wait to dig in!

    A True Influencer Indeed
Ryan, Stories from The Influencer Economy is a hidden gem! I can't tell you how many notes I take while listening to your podcast and how your show single-handily drives a creative inspiration like no other. There are two shows that will always stick out to me, the one featuring Seth Godin and the other featuring James Altucher. I honestly want to thank you for all the work that you do, for the time you invest in your fans and how grounded you remain. Please continue to inspire us all, your movement really matters to us. Seth is right, there's a difference between 1,000 listeners and 1,000 true fans. I recently got your book as a birthday present from my business partner and I look forward to every minute spent reading it. Great write up within Huff Post on 9/2 as well! We're all rooting for you! I've been a true fan from the moment I caught a glimpse of your show and have been spreading the word since.

An inspiring collection into the minds of influencers
As an inspiring influencer I was more than intrigued when I found a podcast dedicated to getting into the minds of those who are doing it. Ryan's authentic and eager curiosity help dig deep into what influences the influencers. The mix of genres each guest represents is great too because even when I think I may not learn anything from an episode, sure enough there are nuggets of wisdom dropped throughout. Stories from the Influencer Economy definitely encourages me to keep working toward my dream. The only thing I would change is adding more episodes :)

    It's just what you need!
I stumbled on the podcast via Twitter. Once I started liking posts on the account the founder immediately reached out to me encouraging me to listen to and engage with the content. The personal approach plus awesome podcasts especially for me, an aspiring startup founder, is second to none. Episode 84 with Rand Fishkin discussing depression in the startup space was perfect timing and relates to the app I'm working on. The passion behind Influencer Economy does not go unnoticed. Thank you!

I find this show so compelling and I always learn something new. Guests and topics are always compelling and the variety seems to cast such a wide net, that I’m constantly hearing of amazing new people in my industry (Film/Entertainment), as well as other industries that I’m just interested in. Highly recommend subscribing! I stumbled upon this show by accident, make your subscription on purpose! : )

    A Must-Listen for Any Entrepreneur
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and The Influencer Economy is at the top of my list. I recently heard Ryan Williams speak at a conference, and I was feverishly taking notes. His podcast is no different. There are so many practical pieces of advice and inspiring anecdotes from Ryan and his top-notch guests. And I love the pace of this podcast—Ryan keeps the interview flowing while allowing just enough time for side stories and funny back-stories. Every episode is time well-spent.

Influenced by Stories from the Influencer Economy
I have now listened to several of Ryan William’s podcasts and I have to say I am not only educated about the new ways entrepreneurs and the world of work operates but also entertained. Each of Ryan’s guests bring their own enthusiasm about their particular perspective of the “new rules,” and along with it story after story to illustrate their points. Recently listened to and loved the Jay Samit and the Jen Yamato interviews. I would recommend this podcast to anyone from 8 to 80! The Boomlets will receive invaluable information they will need in school as they consider career and beyond. Millennials better be paying close attention. And the Boomers need the re-education!

Fun Listen for Startup Founders and Fans
I just discovered this podcast and after picking a few episodes with guests I know I love hearing from (Derek Sivers, Brad Feld, Nir Eyal...) it's exciting to know there are more than 80 more to explore. Ryan's interview style is casual and the conversations flow naturally. Definitely worth adding to your startup-related podcast mix.

    Powerful & encouraging
Ryan not only speaks to very diverse successful people but he is able to tap into the right questions that keep you interested while also encouraging you to try new things. As an entrepreneur it is refreshing to find someone who is willing to share their stories to help you & your startup thrive.

    People need to wake up!
What I have learned from this podcast is people need to understand that social media determines how people form their opinions of you without physically meeting you. Be that individual or corporate structure.

Reshaping our view of Startups, Business, and the World
Ryan Williams and his podcast are excellent. Not only does he attract incredible influencers and thinkers of this age to his program, the underlying concepts he delivers provide a fresh, nuanced framework for today’s economy. Intelligent, deep, vital
This is the show that answers the questions that begin to make sense of the messy revolution that is unfolding across the universe that is modern media. With intelligence and wit Ryan Williams interviews fascinating characters who inhabit the influencer economy- not just the big names but also the behind the scenes players who rarely get attention but are doing the heavy lifting that drives innovation. This podcast goes deep where it matters- and it's fun.

I am living proof of the concept!
This book touches on a powerful idea that seems counterintuitive at first. But, I have worked without expecting anything in return and the “economy” has come full-circle.
