    A Joy
My new favorite podcast. I’m a fan of reference books, and these folks know their references. They’re also funny as all get-out.

    Awesome British Humor
I have been a listener for years and loved it. Currently paying for club fish but now getting louder and more annoying ads than ever. I will be requesting a refund.

    My favorite distraction
This podcast actually means something to me. I’ve listen to Anna, James, Andrew, and Dan for many years - through travels around the world, a pandemic, a pregnancy, and now, with my son (hoping he picks up a thing or two…jk he’s 8 months). This show gets me out of my head, is my favorite of all distractions, and makes me feel like my nerd is also other peoples’ nerd. I’ve never in my life written a review, so hopefully that means this counts for a little more.

    A perfect ADHD podcast
Every time I listen to this podcast I learn something, I laugh, and mostly I enjoy the banter of the four podcasters. Their camaraderie is infectious. The best part of this podcast is that you can listen to it while doing anything. You can tune in, tune out, and the subject has changed enough that you didn’t need to be paying attention anyway. Which consequently makes for great re-listens. I’ve been through the entire catalogue and continue to go back to episodes, each time learning some thing new that I missed on a previous listen. I listen while working around the house and cooking and cleaning and yard work and really it doesn’t matter, it’s so easy to listen to and get lost in thought and come back to it and feel like you didn’t miss anything because the topic has changed. I recommend this to podcast to anyone who enjoys podcasts. It’s always a good listen.

Good content, but weird ads recently
So it’s been great listening, but recently there have been some strange ads inserted based on geography/ip. I find it very strange getting targeted ads for a British podcast.

Love the podcast but please stop this new ads thing
Been a long long long time listener. But the new ads platform is awful. Please stop them! - too loud - interrupt at the wrong time. - and worst of all really inappropriate actual ads.
  • EurekaMarijka
If you thought the ads were bad before…
now, not only are you startled by the double-volume ‘stop the podcast’ screech, they’ve started adding equally loud vendor-recorded ads as well! So after falling in love with the facts during covid, I’ve unsubbed - just too freaking irritated by the horrendous interruptions that make my ears ring since the rude noise level is so shocking through earbuds. Evidently the move to a new studio is expensive, because even the multi-years old episodes are cluttered with the obnoxious ads. HORRIBLE, folks! bye bye

    I love the podcast…
….but when will you be doing a tour in the States? Specifically the Detroit area?

    usually pretty entertaining and educational!
i like the episodes best that have guests instead of dan.

    Look forward to every episode!
I love this podcast and listen to the new episodes the day they came out!

    My favorite podcast!
I love this show so much. I feel like the different personalities of the four of them are so unique and they play off of each other so well. James’ love of golf, Dan’s love of cryptids (and anything weird - love his other podcast, We Can Be Weirdos, too), Andrew’s love of moss, and Anna’s love of being right (in the best possible way) keeps me eagerly looking forward to each episode! The answer, “It’s coal,” still makes me laugh out loud.

The show really helps pass the time! Thanks all for making us laugh, laying on our bunks, rather than whining and crying like a bunch of idiots…

I sometimes consider listening to another podcast
but end up just listening to my favorite! I’m now listening from the beginning for the fourth time because, of course, once a week just doesn’t suffice. Like others have mentioned, I’ve started to feel like Anna (so glad she’s back!), James, Andy, & Dan are friends of mine. So smart & funny! Thanks, gang!
  • Kwistofo
When does Dan get to leave for 6 months?
No more Dan, or use all your guests and other “QI elves” to replace him more frequently
  • Prozies
    The best
I’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning. It’s amazing. It’s funny and informative.

    Best comedy podcast ever!
I found this podcast about a month ago and have been working backwards through the archives ever since. This show has made me literally laugh out loud more frequently than ANY podcast I have EVER listened to. I love everything about it: fantastic hosts, ridiculous facts, even the music. I’m going to be so sad when I get to the end of the archives, but thankfully, there are hundreds of back episodes, so that won’t happen for a while.

    Honestly don’t get it
A general knowledge podcast for over-enthusiastic theater kids if that makes any sense. Don’t understand how people actually like this show?
  • Nick McNulty
Great facts, hosts start to wear on you
As a longtime fan of QI, I started listening to NSTASF a few years back. The show always provides some great bits of trivia and history, varying from WW2 to astrophysics to the origins of cardboard to the making of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest. The four hosts start to feel like friends after awhile...but like all friends, they start to get on your nerves after a while. There is certainly an aura of "know-it-all-ism" to their conversations, trying to one-up the others. The jokes don't always land (quite evident during the live episodes where attempts at humor are met with silence). And one host (I won't name names) never quite seems to have the same sense of humor as the others and she never yes/ands any bits, rather focusing on being correct rather than playful. When the show is firing on all cylinders, it's an educational and fun listen. But there are certainly times where you'd wish the hosts would stop nitpicking and get on the facts.

    I’ve never loved anything more
This podcast is so funny, smart, and weirdly comforting that I am busy listening to every episode for the second time.

    A weekly dose of joy
I am a prolific podcast listener, and this is my absolute favorite. I love the genuine relationship between Dan, James, Andrew, and Anna. I love learning new things while laughing out loud. I have listened to every episode and eagerly await for each new one to drop.

    Fact smack
QI is my favorite television program, and this is my favorite podcast. It’s as funny as it is full of delicious information. The synergy between the hosts is magical. I listen from the first episode every year to relearn all the incredible things I have forgotten. If you want to shower everyone you know with stuff they have never heard before listen to this show. It’s as good as it gets.

No such thing as a skipped episode
Love, love, love. I hoard trivia like a trivia magpie and this podcast is a reliable source of shiny trivia trinkets!

    Truths bombs lined with humor
If you could only learn 4 facts each week, these would be the 4 facts worth learning. It covers all the bases from medical grade moss, to intricate math issues, to cryptozoology, to fancy people drinks, and even the occasional sportsball. #MoreJamesHarkin

    All the LOLs
This team has the best chemistry, hilarious facts and genuinely makes me laugh every time. I am a fish subscriber and love the extra content. I don’t think I am actually retaining a darn thing, but I do feel more informed about British Southerners and Northerners (I am from the states). If you want an hour of pure joy from really smart funny people, this is your show.

    Great change of pace
I just so enjoy it. So much of what I listen to is news and history, and when I hear “do dio dio dio” I feel so happy.

    YouTube
I need you to start a YouTube channel with funnily animated versions of the episodes on it. It would be so funny. Please do this and I will immediately subscribe and then give you 6 stars instead of 5 XD

No such thing as not a great episode
I started listening during the pandemic and I’ve now listened to the entire series, from 2014 to the present, TWICE through. It never fails to cheer me up when I’m down. I also now pepper my family & friends with random facts until they give me funny looks, but it’s worth it.
  • krollielynne
    Always a pleasure
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years now and it has been a constant joy of useless trivia, fun facts, and some very terrible puns.
  • nonicknamesleft4mehowsad
    Love
I typically go for podcasts that help me learn, and usually they can be a little boring, this one keeps me wildly entertained and smiling the whole time. Thanks for making knowledge hilarious. Really love it, keep up the good work.

    American appreciation
Aloha, I am an American and love the barrage of random knowledge every week that my brain box insists on getting out. The podcast has set my dating game back years. Not even mad about that.
