    Absolute Best ‘Comedian
The original ‘comedian talking to a guest’ pod and by far the best. For over a decade Richard Herring has been setting the bar for podcast guests and the inimitable Emergency Questions he asks them. National treasures Bob Mortimer and Sir Michael Palin, comedy royalty James Acaster, and Katherine Ryan, showbiz A-list Harry Shearer and Brett Goldstein, music sensations Suggs, Louise Wener, academics Alice Roberts and Mary Beard... They’ve all graced the RHLSTP guest’s chair. What more could you want?

    Long live one ball!
Richard Herring’s rahistalapah as the cool kids are saying is everything it’s cracked up to be and more. Here’s to many more healthy seasons.

    Richard Who?
I think I stumbled across this podcast because James Acaster was on it. I have no real knowledge of Richard Herring’s career but RHLSTP is often laugh out loud funny.

    My favorite podcast
Well ... it’s probably a toss-up between this and Adam Buxton, if I’m honest.

    Worth the wait
Brian Blessed was beyond expectations!! Hilarious!

    Crazy Calm
Richard's interviews are strangely calm and strangely strange--and hilarious. He is not shouting out how funny and subversive he is, he just is. I hope it catches on.

    Fantastic
Some of the funniest and most entertaining interviews you will ever hear. Do yourself a favour and listen to all of them.

    Richard Herring’s Leicester Square podcasts
Love Richard Herring’s podcasts. Rude, crude and silly-and so much fun.

    It’s just so great
Richard is incredibly charming and funny in these. Another host couldn’t really pull off the podcast as successfully as him. Each interview is different from the one before and you never know the level of hilarity or seriousness that you will get.

    Frenetic fun
Great rapport with his guests. Emergency questions are ridiculous fun. Enjoying it.

    Richards interview style brilliant
One of the best comedy podcasts out there. Love it.

    Brilliant
We are just back to US from a tourist trip to London and Ireland and it is great to have a piece of the Motherland without the plane flight. Loved the politeness and decorum of the people and am starting to grasp the wit. I was reminded to keep it simple; Church, country, family, orderliness, love, compassion, work. Bravo. Great series. Listening from rural New York.

    If I could download time...
As I walked up the road to the tube station I passed a shop selling iPod apps. I don't like iPods and I know nothing about them at all and I don't like apps either, but the shop was empty apart from 2 members of staff and in my drunkenness I wondered what would happen if I went in there and tried to bluff my way through.

herring-sized hole in your heart? fill it. with this.
the king of all things makes interview magic with a lot of really good people. it's revolting how good this podcast is and will be.
