    Otherwise perfect
Within 6 minutes and 30 seconds there were TWO different theme songs on the minisode. I stopped listening after that.

    Host supports genocide
I’m a longtime fan who just found out about Paul’s support of genocide so I will no longer be listening

Love June Paul and Jason with all my heart
The OG funny movie review podcast. Now I have a deep love of bad movies, after listening for so many years, and I hope to continue growing up with HDTGM

    Screeching and Disrepectful
The two male hosts of this show are hooping and hollering like baboons trying to screech and out shout the other. They don’t pause or even care what the other one is saying- so tell me why should I? The lady host was trying so hard to have a meaningful conversation but kept getting drowned out by those two foghorns.

    Used to be 5 stars
Now they’ve re-edited and censored jokes for the rereleases episodes it’s lost its charm

    More June💗💗💗
I know putting June through more of this might be bad for her mental health but I’d like more of her!!!
  • Ashymjay
    One of the best
Ignore the haters. This podcast is great. The hosts are great. The live shows are great- Whoever the guest is. Sounds like some of these guys don’t like when a woman has an opinion on things. Well. Deal with it. Very funny movies, maybe hard to watch at times, always a good conversation regardless, whether I’ve watched the flick or not. Love these three! Marry me Jason.
  • Jdibhe
    Hit or miss
Jason is by far the funniest and Paul is a very good MC. June is pretty useless and such an annoying woke Lib that she is never missed when she’s not on. Also, the live shows really hinge on the guests. There are good ones like Nick Kroll or annoying ones like Nichole Byer. Really hit or miss

It’s somehow better if you actually love the movie they’re “deconstructing”
This might be my all time favorite podcast. The banter and chemistry between the hosts is fantastic. As is the subject matter. I burn through episodes too fast unfortunately and that brings me to my one gripe. With Stitcher now out of commission, where can I find the full back catalog? There’s a ton of episodes here for the uninitiated but for someone who burns through about an episode a day, I’m out of gas so to speak. Anywho, great show. Give it a listen. I suggest starting with the Face/Off episode. Jason’s manic energy really shines and everyone is clearly having a ball with one of the best bad movies (or just great in my opinion) ever made.

    Listener since the beginning
I’ve been listening to this show for years. I think since it started. I have consistently enjoyed it. I have seen their live shows. This show has been a consistent and unwavering joy in my life for at least the last 8 years. :) Thanks for making it! I am an enduring fan.

Enough with Live Podcasts and that’s not all
Ive been a fan for a long time and the live shows are terrible to listen to obviously they are done to make money, releasing them as live shows says you don’t care about the podcast listener at all. Being ‘comedy’ mean to listeners isn’t funny or cool. And the cable movies are not fun. Bring back the old HDTGM
  • KeyWestVippy
Late to the party but now a daily die-hard
When I started listening to HDTGM several years ago, it had already been on for almost a decade! I subscribed to Stitcher Premium just for this show (RIP Stitcher) and still re-listen to an episode every night like a lullaby before I sleep. Paul, June, and Jason are hilarious, smart, and kind, and listening each week is like hanging out with friends. Top pics: Mannequin 2, The Secret, Adore, Prom Night 2, and Reindeer Games. But there are so many other hits!

A podcast I look forward to every week
I am the friend that is always up for talking about podcasts. I listen to a lot of them and as such my library of podcasts has grown considerably. There are a number of podcasts that I listen to that I just let build up in my queue because the episodes are hit or miss and I often end up skipping some. This podcast is always a hit and I have gone back at this point and listened to every episode. The cast is great and I almost always enjoy the guest they bring in. They have such a great dynamic and never fail to make me laugh. Rarely do I actually watch the movies they are discussing but I don’t think that takes away from the show. That’s how great it is. I highly recommend this podcast. Also, just had the pleasure of reading through some of the other reviews. Please do a second opinion of your own podcast.

    Too Political
I have listened for years and enjoyed this show then lately such as 52 min into January 8 episode they go into a political criticism of JK Rowling and destroyed the fun of the show. I come to this show for the movie fun, not for hateful opinions about JK Rowling and other woke political statements. Took all the fun out of the show.
  • some person with an internet
slander JK Rowling for making sense, get a 1 star review
This country has lost it’s mind, no one knows what a woman is anymore. It’s insane, and a woman has the bravery to go against this narrative and gets called a monster for it?? Insane. I like this podcast but it would be best if you kept your deranged politics to yourself, child abusers.

    The ads ruin the show
All earwolf shows are like this. It feels like watching daytime tv. There’s an ad every 5 - 7 minutes, and there is no theme for the ads. Paul also does reads for McDonald’s, underwear, streaming services. It’s so obnoxious, this is the last podcast I listen to because of the ads.

This is such a great podcast - the host each brings something completely different and are in their own right hilarious. Unlike others, I like the live episodes the best. I love the audience interaction and hearing the audience laugh with me at all the inside jokes.

    STOP with the Cable Movies
I have loved this podcast for a long time but it has declined in the last few yrs with all the cable movie picks. It’s punching down and the movies are uninteresting. Please get back to mainstream Hollywood movies.

    So fun and funny
Just love these deep dives into the most absurd movies you can’t believer were ever filmed. Great dynamic with the hosts and guests.

Thank you for making this podcast!
I stumbled upon this podcast while trying to see if anyone else in the world grew up on (or even saw) the movie Yes, Giorgio. The episode did NOT disappoint and from there I can’t wait for a new episode to post. You don’t even have to see these terrible movies. The hosts cover it all, and their commentary has you laughing out loud.

I’m so over all endless live episodes. The quality is drastically lower both in content and audio quality. At this point, it deems like they should just end rent podcast and do these as live tours only. I miss the quality of older episodes

    Review and a request
I used to be a fan but I have to step away because of Paul’s behavior. Incredible tone-deaf and immature in light of a genocide. I have unfollowed him on all platforms.

    Never disappoints!
I’ve been listening to HDTGM religiously since 2014 and I don’t know if I had pandemic brain but I have no memory of the Ninja III episode so listening to the matinee Monday episode was like hearing it for the first time. To me, this is hands down the funniest episode and that’s saying a lot. I laughed so hard and Paul needs to have a podcast of just his childhood stories. I too grew up as a latchkey kid of divorced parents that enjoyed a nice tall glass of V8 with a celery stick garnish but instead of pepper I added dash of garlic salt. I feel seen.
  • Leilareview
    Hilarious
This podcast makes me laugh out loud almost every time I listen to it. There are some flop episodes, but I’d say 95% are hilarious. I love listening to it and then watching the movie after so I can look out for all the ridiculous stuff they say. Also, I just read a bunch of the 1 star reviews and it delights me that so many right wing listeners have unsubscribed because of the “woke” politics that the hosts espouse very occasionally. Good riddance!
  • Stepfordwives2020
Paul - listen to your fans trying to talk to you about this genocide
It’s so unfortunate the way Paul has treated his fans. While he’s posted things, he bullies anyone who asks him to face the reality of this genocide. It’s a huge disappointment. Where would you be without your fans? Especially those who believe in you so much, they’re trying to reason with you about the ways you’re publicly supporting war crimes and violations of the Geneva convention. This is not an extreme position. Please try to educate yourself rather than bully your well-intentioned fans.
  • Ronnie3224

    Great show
I do a lot of travel for work and just found this show, I have made it through a fair amount of it and it is great. Not sure if the hdtgm group will read this, but I’d suggest looking at Titanic 2 for a dumb movie to review.

    Jason is amazing
The show is a joy. They’re smart movie nerd energy is amazing. Jason should be the next Will Ferrell. Brilliant sweet team. Also I might add some of the guests are glorious as well, Adam, Nick just off of the top of my head, kill as guest stars.

    Wild Mountain Thyme!
I just wanted to say that I’m so happy there’s an episode about “Wild Mountain Thyme”…I watched that movie thinking it was going to be a good romantic drama and I was in utter confusion by the end 😆 I watched it by myself so I immediately went to the internet to see what people were saying about it and I couldn’t find anything! I felt like I was in the twilight zone 😆

    Politics Has Taken Over
I loved this podcast from the beginning and listened for about 10 years before I stopped listening. But the constant woke political comments and bashing of conservative values have made the show unlistenable. The pre-Trump era podcasts are a delight and funny. But once the Hosts’ politics became front and center every episode, I quit listening. It’s not fun when one feels like they’re being consistently made fun of and attacked. I don’t understand why Hollywood and show hosts hate their fans so much.
