This has been my go to Japanese podcast for over a decade. I enjoy how it covers vocabulary and phrases while still having time for the japanese guest to speak like a normal person. 99% of language materials always have the massive speakers speaking in some robotic way. I also use it to improve and learn Cantonese, so it’s a double whammy.

Discovered this 15 years late, was looking for a podcast related to Japan and learning Japanese during COVID lockdown. The lessons are short but useful and there are cultural insights mixed in as well. Really enjoyable to listen to.
