    Exactly what I wanted
Hey all NES ADDICT here from YouTube. This is exactly what I was looking for in a retro focused podcast. I love it when I connect with a voice and both brothers on this show are easy on the ears and talk about stuff I love! Especially loved the Bioshock, home alone, and gi Joe episodes so far. I knew this was for me when Alley Viper was mentioned as Colons favorite Joe. Same here!

    Thank You
I just discovered this podcast not to long ago. I’m currently going through your catalog in episode order. I’m on #224 the Hybrid Theory/Linkin Park episode. Your opening dialogue was like a warm blanket wrapping around me. It is SO refreshing to finally have a nostalgia based podcast that is not hosted by people fully bought in on all the weird/insane stuff going on in our country currently. Just common sense, grounded dudes discussing Star Wars, Music, Cereal, etc etc. Keep up the good work!

How are you not listening to this yet?
Don’t wait till Disney buys them... jump in now. Two brothers with great perspective & a passion for good podcasts. Even the topics I’m not into are great. They continue to stay in their groove of unique insight as they look back at art & projects were nostalgic for

One of my favorites from LSM
This podcast introduced me to Dagan, another welcome face at LSM! This podcast helps me wax nostalgic often and encourages me to revisit the old things I enjoy, from games to movies to memories. Thanks!

Thank you for this show 💜
Getting to know these two on a more personal level is great. I listen to all of Last Stand & when an episode of this comes out that really catches my eye, it’s probably the most exciting out of them all. Love you guys ☺️

    A New Hope 🥰🥰
I just found you guys recently, probably from Ryan Niemiller,a stand up comic who has a massive video game collection and a video game podcast. He mentioned your Episode IV: A New Hope Ep. And hearing Dagan describe Luke coming up to the double sunset LITERALLY brought tears to my eyes🥲 in the best way. I’m definitely going to be binging your ENTIRE library of episodes. Keep it up👋👋👍👍

Two erudite brothers speaking intelligently on a variety of topics…it’s worth blocking out time to listen to these literate guys. Well done always!

    The goats
I am a last stand Patreon member because of sacred symbols which I love. BUT this is by far my favorite podcast of all time. I could listen to these guys talk about paint drying all day. Love the shows, thanks Colin and the rest of Last Stand Media!

    Nostalgia at it's finest
I could listen to the Moriarty Bros talk all day about most any topic. Always a great listen, especially the more open ended topics and even the topics very specific to them and their childhoods. Great stuff!

    We don’t deserve Dagan
I said what I said. This world is too cruel for us to deserve Dagan.

    Fantastic Retro Pod
Best pod of the week consistently. Even topics I don’t have a connection to pull me in because of Col and Deg’s chemistry

    Retro At It’s Best
Colin and Dagan take me back to the eighties when I enjoyed all the great movies with my little brother, from The Goonies to Red Dawn. It’s great to hear real people discussing life and the topics that mean so much to us.
  • Birdogg4894
Really fantastic with a diverse variety of shows
Colin and Degan are two guys who do exactly what podcasters should: make you feel like you are having a fun conversation with your buddies on movies, video games, random childhood memories etc. One of the things I really love is how they cover topics for just about any interest. For example, they covered classic Disney cartoons and came at it from an interesting perspective and made it fascinating. They balance topics combined with personal stories really well. Even on the times I may not agree with their opinions, they present themselves so well that it interests me just to hear where and why their thoughts are different than mine. This is a snark free podcast that has a genuine great chemistry with a wide variety of really fun topics. Keep it up gents!

Love listening , great chemistry , good fun . Just an all around cool show to listen to that has its own vibe , nothing else really like it but where’s mass effect 2 ?!

    Favorite Podcast
I look forward to Knockback every single week. Colin and Dagan have the best chemistry I've seen on a podcast and always make the topic at hand so engaging. I've been listening to Colin for upwards of a decade, but Dagan is genuinely a natural podcaster and the star of the show. (Stop denying it Dagan)

    Knock Back Is Awesome
Great show, love Dagan! Don’t listen to every episode as some topics don’t resonate with me but a majority do. Favorite Podcast around!

Great show but the editing makes it frustrating to listen to on many episodes.

    Perfect for a Mid-Life Renaissance
Maybe it’s just me, but I started listening to this podcast when I was already putting in the work to reconnect with my loved ones in a more meaningful way as I approach middle-age. Serendipitously, I happened to try Knockback alongside my efforts. This is a great podcast for people who grew up in the 80s and 90s, who want to reconnect with the things - and more importantly - the people they love. It’s just two brothers reliving the joys and pains of half a lifetime. I have known of Colin for a long time, and I thought this podcast sounded totally lame. It’s not. Favorite podcast discovery in a long time for me! Who needs a mid-life crisis when you can fuel a mid-life renaissance?!
  • ChiefChirpa99
    Treat yourself
Two brothers talking about the fun, mundane things we all like to talk about. Topics here for everyone.

    Tasty
Tasty nostalgia podcast for anyone looking for stories about childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood. I especially like when Colin drags Dagan [sic?] into more contemporary games. Great stuff.

    Mount Rushmore of favorite podcasts
I can’t say enough good things about this show. I’ve slowly made my way through the majority of episodes. Being a long time listener of Colins, discovering the Dagan brother dynamic was a treat. Please keep doing what you do gents!

    A Great Brother Duo
The dynamic between the two Moriarty brothers as they discuss nostalgic nerd culture is very entertaining. Maybe its because I have a similar relationship with my brother, but I cant help but be filled with joy listening to these two, albeit different personalities bounce off each other. Give it a listen!

    Nothing but love!
I love this podcast because I can pick any episode in any order and feel like I’m just hanging out with these brothers. I really enjoy the perspectives and collective wisdom. And they have a way with hitting me every episode with the nostalgia from my younger years. I can relax and relate and I would suggest this podcast to anyone who likes to dissect fan favorite topics.

    Amazing Podcast
Colin and Dagan bring a fun, interesting, and thoughtful podcast. They really put in the work to know the facts. I couldn’t recommend the podcast more, give it a shot and you will be hooked.

    A nice treat
I often listen to this podcast during my morning workouts and it’s been a nice treat. The pair bring a lot to the table with their age gap playing into their perspectives and insights. It’s loose but well paced and entertaining, and I say that because I’ve even listened to episodes where the topic wouldn’t generally be of interest to me. The Kramer vs Kramer and divorce eps were someone one comforting as divorce blows and if plays a role in things for ones whole life. Take care
