    Great information, lately not enough content.
    I have listened to all the episodes and have been intermittent fasting for four years. It has become a lifestyle. I like that they introduce new products and hacks. The only drawback to the podcast is that lately there is a lot more chit chat and sometimes only a few minutes of actual IF issues/responding to questions.

    Good topic variety
    I’ve been listening on and off for years and enjoy the variety of topics discussed. They do not enjoy so much of chatting about the personal lives of the hosts. I usually fast-forward 10 to 15 minutes to avoid this and get to the educational part of the podcast. I do find the usage of the word “like“ so often annoying but tolerate it to glean information in regards to intermittent fasting and general health improvement.

    I first started listening to this podcast because so many people told me that Melanie was my twin and I needed to listen! After listening, I really loved the content and started listening to it regularly! I love that the content is science-based and the hosts approach everything with an open mind! The hosts seem very kind and relatable! Definitely recommend listening, even if you aren’t regularly intermittent fasting!

    Best way to start the week
    This was the first podcast I ever listened to and to this day it is still the only one I listen to consistently. I’ve learned so much about intermittent fasting, biohacking, and longevity from Melanie and each of her co-hosts (and special guests), but I have to say, I think Vanessa is my favorite! I love the energy they both bring and thanks to Vanessa I’ve learned the importance of prioritizing protein. What you eat is even more important than how long you fast. Listening to this podcast has motivated me to be consistent in my health goals. It also really helps with the Sunday scaries because I have this to look forward to on my drive into work on Monday. Keep up the good work ladies!

    It all started back in 2020 when the world was crazy and I realized I was heading towards pre-diabetes 😳 I stumbled upon this podcast back when it was Melanie and Gin. I’d never heard of fasting or bio hacking- but since I’m a science geek, I started listening and was instantly inspired to try my own fasting journey! I have learned A TON of new things, lowered my A1C back into normal range and my Dr was amazed! I loved it when Cynthia was on, but now with Vanessa she brings so much knowledge of the high protein, sports and fitness approach! I am a lifetime fan!     A long time listener here. Melanie was my first intro into bio hacking /fasting. I had no idea it was thing. After finding other podcasts this is the one I listen to. Melanie and Vanessa really do their homework. They take the deep dive into research for you. Then deliver it in a very approachable way to the listener. Whether they choose the topic or they’re answering listener questions they seem to hit the target for what I’m curious about. They deliver valuable info in an entertaining manner!

    I absolutely love this podcast! I have listened from the beginning and I think what I love the most is Melanie Avalon’s absolute ‘dive in deep’ approach to every subject she entertains. I feel like she cares about health and wellness with her whole heart and that shows in the her complete fixation and enthusiasm of topics on this show. Her comprehensive research and pure non bias approach to subjects are refreshing. It’s unbelievable at times to listen to just how painstakingly exploratory she is. I appreciate this. Loved her first cohost, Gin. Loved Cynthia Thurlow and LOVE Vanessa Spina! I think the most important thing about choosing a podcast to devote time to is if you trust the hosts and the information they give. I trust this podcast. That’s kind of a big thing.     I’ve been listening to this show for a few years—well, since I started intermittent fasting in 2020. And it’s consistently my go to show during my work commute. I love the balance between listener questions, personal experiences and knowledge from Melanie and Vanessa, and their discussion of scientific research. They’ll often weigh in on topics personally but will do the research when needed—including the deep dive. It’s been really helpful during my journey, and I feel like I’m listening to a couple of girlfriends. Keep up the good work!

    I so badly want to like this podcast
    For the past few months, the topics in the title draw me in and then the first 2/3rds of the podcast are personal tangents that have nothing to do them. I get having a little banter at the beggining—I typically fast forward that with most podcasts, but even when I jump ahead 10 minutes or so, I still find myself wondering what podcast I clicked on because it is so off topic. This has happened enough times that I feel the need to comment. I love the podcast concept, so I only say this from a place of constructive criticism.

    I really enjoy listening to this podcast. The questions are great, and the answers are really good! I have listened to all the podcasts. I enjoyed Gin as a cohost with her sometimes differing approach. I was not a fan of Cynthia and am glad she moved on. I think Melanie and Vanessa are a great fit with Vanessa’s nutrition background. I have seen a few reviews of people who do not enjoy the catch-up part at the beginning before the questions, and I suppose this part could be shortened a bit, but I enjoy hearing this information as it gives a window into 2 people’s IF lifestyles and Melanie and Vanessa are very in tune with each other. Hearing about the podcaster’s lives also helps personalize them and provides a perspective for their advice and answers to questions. I also enjoy hearing about Prague and now I want to visit. I have really pared down the number of podcasts I listen to but this one is staying in my permanent line-up.

    Gone downhill
    This podcast used to be good and very informative. It’s really gone downhill. I’m still listening to the older episodes with Gin first but have listened to new episodes and it’s super boring. No talk of IF until MAYBE 40 minutes in. Melanie clearly has an eating disorder, it’s very evident even in the very early podcasts and she hides it under the guise of “health”. I can tell as a person who has struggled with an eating disorder in the past it’s clear to see that she needs help.

    Host has a blatant eating disorder and lies
    I can no longer support this podcast and Melanie Avalon because she is irresponsible with the information she is putting out, it’s CLEAR she has anorexia and her restrictive eating patterns has resulted in weight loss to the point of unhealth. She is the LAST PERSON anyone should be taking diet or food advice from. Her entire mentality around food, eating and weight is completely disordered. She posts photos of herself on Instagram showing her boney arms and bones in her neck and chest. She is clearly obsessed with fat loss, weight loss and staying as skinny and underweight as possible. She does FAT LOSS TREATMENTS while she is severely underweight and emaciated!! She literally has talked about how she has done a restrictive diet and is underweight in older episodes of the podcast and now, both of her pods are heavily based around “food addiction”, supplements to lose fat, weight loss, fasting, etc. she is a public figure and she’s doing a huge disservice to people who are trying to be healthy. She abuses thyroid medications to stay underweight, she abuses supplements like Berberine to stay skinny. She talks about how she uses fat burning creams, NAD patches, EMSCULPT!!! while she is clearly underweight and emaciated. I can’t take anything she says seriously because she is ignorantly hiding her anorexia and masking it as health. She will lie and say “she’s always looked this way” and she has “never restricted her calories”. This girl is one big contradiction. She has shared in detail on her podcast about what she eats and if she thinks it’s normal, it’s not. It’s disordered. And you can tell that her main intention is to stay extremely skinny. There is no way you lose tons of weight and become extremely underweight by “not restricting calories”. She’s a liar. She’s an influencer making money off brands and supplements while she is deep in her eating disorder and she will do and say anything possible to hide it and pretend she’s perfect, she’s in-genuine and completely dismissive to real issues, which she is causing many to her listeners, especially folks who are healing from Ed’s. Melanie is DOING HARM!!!

    Waste of my time
    I have a 40 minute ride to work where I like to learn about things I can do to improve my health. The first 25 minutes of this podcast covered Taylor Swift concerts, Halloween costumes, and how to use flattering lighting to look attractive to a prospective romantic interest… complete with whiney voices and girly giggling. This was my first introduction to this podcast. No redeeming qualities at all to make me want to give it another try.
