BeversdorfConcise and preciseNew to the podcast! My favorite line from the host in the episode defining fitness was (paraphrasing), “I know some of our listeners don’t like Latin words, or words in general, but…sarcopenia.” LOL I’m here for all the words Latin and otherwise. And I appreciate the short format.

Alaska JennyNeurodiversityEpisode 678 on neurodiversity is excellent!

JoeSixpackPatronizing and PedanticThe relatively new host treats his listners like they are stupid. Just about half of the show(s) goes to debunking fitness myths, that pretty much everybody knows about. And actually he follows that old addage of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The recent 10,000 steps show is a good example. 10000 steps is arbitrary it turns out. But there is a wealth of data showing that those that get to the 9000-10000 steps get a myraid of health benefits, none of which he mentioned. He's too busy showing us how smart he is and proving he's a logician by citing abstruce Latin terms. A waste of time, so follow my lead and find a better podcast

HoptippytopWhy so abrasive?Oof I used to really like the other guy that moved on.. this new-ish one… with the accent… just No. His advice boarders on abusive. I know that’s not a requirement to me nice but he craps on things he doesn’t understand. He’s a know-it-all with no option that there MIGHT be new things or views he hasn’t thought about. I guarantee he’s awful at parties. I used to listen for advice but I think I’ll pass until/or you get a new host.

i'm really,Easy to understand & informativeI love to hear how we can make exercise work for us, I have noticed that Don is having approach to the program. It took me a while to get familiar with his tone and way to deliver. Thank you for putting a new spin to it. I still missed Brock but I’m you here. ✌️😊

Bukise2768QuestionIt’s a great podcast, but I have a question, should I do 100 pushups each night or 50 curl-ups?
-
paintaimeeExercise or medical advice?I miss when this show gave advise on working out and exercising. Maybe it’s a new host? Now it’s thoughts on the controversy of drinking pee and hormone replacement:/ really odd.
-
RDB766Arrogant!I liked the previous Get Fit Guys. This one is arrogant and I am not going to waste my time listening. Perhaps in a year or two you will get someone worth listening to.
-
adelepodBest pod to start the day and motivate you!Get-Fit Guy is the best way to start your day! I love the new fresh energy Kevin Don brings to the podcast! He motivates me to stay healthy and active.
-
shewwysgreat podcast!good, accurate content and straight to the point. i appreciate the lack of fluff, other podcasts are so annoying about that.
-
jvh3rdGreat exercise adviceI’ve been listening to this podcast for years, since Ben Greenfield was hosting, and while I’ve gotten something out of all the hosts, Dr. Jonathan Soo is the best. He gets right to the point and gives good advice about exercising.
-
purpl3earsHelped my knee pain!Dr. Jonathan really knows what he's talking about! The exercises he shared to help with knee pain had a tremendous effect on me. I'm so grateful. Highly encourage others to listen!
-
TriloBiteNomsSounds roboticThe tips are fine, and I subscribed for a long time, but the new guy sounds like he’s a robot reading from a script. It’s hard to stay engaged through an entire episode even though it’s only like 10 minutes.
-
WowthatNameIsTakenI’ve boosted my rating as I’ve kept listeningThe content is fine. Mostly the basics but good for beginners and middlers based in science and not quacky. I like his product recommendations and that the content is all meat and no fluff in short, easy to listen to bites. Sometimes you like to hear the banter, but sometimes you want them to get right to the point. Fit guy gets to the point.
-
lina312Wish I knew about this podcast earlierCatching up on old episodes, found it through a climbing friend. Has really helpful tips for staying fit and excelling. Would like to see more episodes concentrate on outdoor activities/ exercices.

Josemaria78Easy listeningGreat audio very complete and easy to understand!
-
ricketybridge891Hilarious and informativeI am *loving* this podcast. Brock is hilarious, and hearing him rip apart fitness fads like SoulCycle has so far been the crown jewel of these episodes. I completely agree with his views on functional fitness and being active throughout the day, and I’m looking forward to learning more about those things.
-
GoodyVibesThis Is Something elseJust saying for u all that this podcast is excellent for me I’m 13 and it’s great for track and weightlifting for me not just for grownups
-
Salud GPractically uselessThe last episode on choosing a trainer was useless. 4 personalities and not a single piece of information that was significant.
-
Tmz4246Not worth the amount of ads ppayedThis podcast is an endless stream of advertising & sales pitches. The info is sometimes interesting but the podcasts has way more ads running than many similar podcasts available on the same subject matter. Unsubscribed, happily.
-
GBRMMHLOVEGreat fitness information! I have learned so much from listening to these pod-casts!
-
671TurbineNice to hear the science behind the hypeI do appreciate how Brock approaches each topic with science backed, fact based support. Even covering old topics with new information is very helpful and interesting. Keep up the good work Brock.
-
Caleb262Show going downhill...I can’t believe it’s not butter!Lately the quality of the show seems to have been dropping off. I like Brock and enjoy him in Ben Greenfield’s podcast when he joins him there. But with the recent addition of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter as a sponsor, it’s pretty hard to keep tuning in. Seriously? On a fitness podcast we are pushing that trash now!?
-
ErikamommaQuick but jam packed with infoI have learned a lot from this Pod in quick 15-20 minute spurts. The content is diverse and structured well. I really like the length of this pod. He offers good understandable explanations that a novice can understand all while still offering interesting content to those more knowledgeable.

Mister 14Newer is not betterI had been s long term listener of the original get fit guy. After a long span, a different replacement get fit guy appeared. After listening to a few shorter podcasts and listening to the replacement hock chocolate milk as the perfect post workout drink. I had had enough. Unsubscribed. Adios
-
Mark in PhiladelphiaQuick and to the pointBrock does a great job of bringing topical info to us in bite sized chunks. I love that I can listen to Brock and still have time to get to his other Quick & Dirty colleagues. Thanks for all you do.
-
LstachowskiFitness in a nutshellBrock’s get-fit-guy podcasts are short but useful fitness bites. Easy to understand, without a lot of hard to understand words, solid information based on science. More important, you can trust that you are getting accurate information, and not half-baked theories.

MrsGoNeillMy Go To PodcastI love to pull up a podcast with Brock Armstrong teaching me more about the things I love- fitness, and health! Whether I am working out, in the kitchen, or sitting at work, I thoroughly enjoy the tips, tricks and love he shares of being fit and healthy! Humorous and enjoyable, perfect for a quick listen! I have re-listened to several podcasts as well because they were so good! Congrats Brock for making it one year on this podcast! You've got a favorite subscriber!
-
FittingitUpThank you Brock!I love this podcast. I never listened to Ben greenfield but Brock Armstrong does a great job. Listening to him builds my confidence and helps get me through some of my first real workouts. I have to thank him for helping me feel as fit and fabulous as ever :)
-
Wesley WiseThis Podcast Is A Wise Choice 👍🏻Show hasn’t skipped a beat since Brock Armstrong took over one year ago. Still never miss an episode. Always quality, well prepared information that consistently delivers value. Thanks for carrying the torch Brock! You’ve got a listener for life!
-
KateKatichFriendly and mainstream while still interestingI love Brock Armstrong’s science based exercise tips. As someone who has worked out for most of the last 20 years, I find his frequent reference to studies, both old and new, to be really helpful for tweaking my methods for improved performance. I don’t think you have to be a newbie to enjoy this podcast. I also like that this podcast isn’t filled with weird advice to use infrared saunas or strange sponsors that will laser my reproductive organs. I’m interested in more mainstream and easily executed improvements on my fitness routines. Best of all, Brock seems like a guy who’d hang out and talk to almost anybody at barbecue, fit or not. He’s a very friendly and accessible presenter.

Adam JackGood informationGood information, well researched & present.
-
daphatsphotosMore more moreLove the podcast and information, but would love to see all the archived shows!
-
TimThoeleckeJrChocolate milk? Really?Loved the podcast with Ben Greenfield and actually enjoy Brick more. But chocolate milk as a sponsor? Way too much sugar. And benefits are minimal at best. Industry propaganda. Surely there are more appropriate sponsors.
-
RunandlistenBrock does wellBrock Armstrong does a great job exploring, explaining, and presenting information about fitness and workouts. His style is understated and he’s not the center of attention nor does he say his training or his workouts are the gold standard. Such a welcome relief! My only advice to him would be to focus more outside the gym and include activities or combo activities (e.g. give us the skinny on fat tire bikes and how to get a good workout on them). Great stuff!

Kalani NgLike a weekly TED talk on FitnessBrock knows his stuff. You’ll learn a lot great information on this podcast that will help you to be a fitter and healthier you! Subscribe and add this to your podcast Arsenal!

sjskelton04My Favorite Fitness ResourceI've been listening for several months now and so enjoy the podcast I had to take the time to give a review. Brock Armstrong does an awesome job providing expert advice on all things fitness! The varied activities covered always keeps interested and coming back for more. It's also one of the most educational podcasts I listen to! Knowing the "why" behind the "what" is a critical factor in keeping me motivated. Thank you Brock!
-
MRPollockClear Concise and FUNI have been listening to this podcast for several years now. I enjoyed it very much with Ben Greenfield and enjoy it even more now with Brock! With Brock at the helm the last 6 monthes or so I feel the podcast has became re-vitalized. He does such a great job of taking complex topics and making them accessible and practical. He also always hads a little humor and fun into each episode. I love the format and the content has been so very helpful on my health journey. THANKS!!! Keep up to excellent work.
-
Desert-byteGreat podcastClear concise with actionable suggestions.
-
still tri-ingLove the NEW Get Fit Guy!I wasn't a listener of the original get-fit guy. His advice always seemed too extreme (hyperbaric chambers, anyone?) but I have been LOVING the NEW get-fit guy! His advice is simple and realistic for everyday people looking to improve their fitness. He cites studies but isn't afraid to revisit a topic to explain it more in-depth or simplify it and re-explain it to make it practical and acheivable for anyone. Thanks, Broc Armstrong for making fitness understandable and realistic!
-
BWhit87Good info...told by a robotThis guy is way to robotic and monotone to keep your attention. Even though the information is decent.
-
DCastaneda!Good info but too much advertisingBeen listening for over a year and great info but just too many plugs for a 10 minute podcast. Would be okay with one per. Its a pain to fast forward but it is worth the information.
-
wombatsoldierHalf of the podcast is plugsSpends half his podcast plugging sponsors and the network. The delivery is also very plain and sounds like someone reading a list of facts from Wikipedia. Might be useful information but I'm already bored by the time he gets to it.
-
40SquirmHighly informative!Speaks to the average person! Stuff the average person can actually do!
-
darth_radarGreat source for honest Fitness infoBenG is a great straightforward host & podcaster for all elements of fitness in a comprehensive way. I recommend subbing this podcast and enjoy & learn.
-
bank1Great stuffI have listened for a couple of years. Ben covers a broad bunch of topics. 2/3 of these interest me. I learn more from some of the other 1/3. I have learned how to get more out of my investment in fitness and avoided fads and injuries.
-
Troxell13Fresher than your new shirtIt's awesome that the newest trends / thoughts are discussed on a regular basis. Like how he keeps information relevant too. Great work.
-
