    My Go-To For World News
The format has extensive coverage of some major events as well as a briefing of news articles across the globe. The quality hosts and knowledgeable guests will inform you about so many issues in such a short time.

Good for an international perspective but
If you’re an American wanting an international POV this gives you a good eye dropper of global news but their coverage of the conflict in Gaza is wildly skewed. They just referred to Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria as an alleged attack when Israel has claimed ownership and regularly under report the number of deaths in Gaza compared to every other major news source.

    No objectivity
It’s another loudspeaker for far left political activists.

    Less news more opinions
Started listening podcasts sometime back. Length and coverage is good, but they give less of news and more opinions. The opinions are very much biased and uni-directional.

    Grain of Salt
Anything from Monocle has to be take. With a grain of salt. This is a far left broadcast and a new world order and Biden administration supporter. Just today the Jan6 committee looking into the protests was covered with the debunked story of President Trump assaulting a secret service person. The secret service has said this did not happen and said they will testify to that. A very embarrassing moment yet again for the Jan6 committee. Just listen with a critical ear as reporting is extremely one sided.

    News or Opinion?
Just played my first episode based on some great reviews. Very disappointed that opinion has taken over this podcast as well. First and last podcast.

Not bad but certainly not very good.
At times The Globalist can be informative but too often the correspondents don’t really know anything about the subject being discussed so they just blather on. One of the worst offenders is Louise Cooper who never fails to demonstrate her willingness to hold forth on subjects about which she is clueless.

Excellent way to start the day
The Globalist is a well done production that covers current world events, business and the arts in a way that’s fundamentally missing in other outlets. True the program leans towards a liberal, progressive view but does so in an educated, thoughtful way. Recorded in London and featuring guests and contributors from around the world the Globalist stays true to its name by providing an international perspective. Check it out!

    Dissapointing, one-sided perspective
This podcast has a lot of potential, but the commentary, and guest speakers, provide an ivory-tower, echo-chamber of one-sided views. The level of bias is noticable with each episode, and the opportunity to present right of center views has never been embraced, which is a shame in this era of closed minded tribalism. I'd ask the editors of this podcast to expand their horizons a bit for the sake of open and diverse discourse.

My go-to podcast for daily world news and analysis
This is a very good podcast to get daily updates on news and events. Sometimes it's good to get news from outside the US when you're sick of hearing about what Trump did for the 100th day in a row and want to find out what important things are happening around the world. They talk about American news as well of course, but it's from a much less sensationalist point of view which is nice. I'm surprised to see this here without even a single written review, it's a good one!
