So good.

The most amazing thing about this amazing podcast is that the episodes are unscripted. If the various actors were working from scripts, it would be impressive enough, but that they're producing brilliant comedy while ad-libbing is really mind-blowing. There are episodes that made me laugh until my stomach hurt, like "Melisa and Joseph, Kangaroos," some that are touching, like "Sal, Sock," and one that was traumatizing, "Annie, Jack-o-Lantern," which was like Never Let Me Go compressed into 20 minutes. You never know what you're going to get, but it's always' worth finding out.

Funny, poignant, thought provoking, beautifully produced, concise. Each episode a little gem. Pathos in spades. I am just so happy this show exists.

Though I am not an animist, this podcast helped me to better see the world through the eyes of one. These episodes are really clever in anthromorphizing many everyday objects and animals. The voices are fun, realistic and lively. The pride and complaints regarding their use are thought-provoking, and at times, inventive. This is a podcast not to miss.

I do not know if it’s just my weird sense of humor but I have never read, listened to, or watched anything funnier than this podcast. Every time I listen I cannot stop laughing. Sometimes I also cry. Either there is something wrong with me or this is the most brilliant piece of radio ever created.

This podcast it’s a true delight. The combination of dry obscure humor, with bits of knowledge sprinkled in is an absolute triumph. I adore every single episode.

I started listening to this podcast right after they first started. It was like I’d found something I didn’t even know I wanted. No hyperbole. It offers a concept like no other podcast. Listen to any episode and you’ll see what I mean. And it’s intelligent.

Truly a great show, but the number of ads is so obnoxious. I’ve unsubscribed from all radiotopia shows. I keep trying to come back but I can’t. It’s not just the number of ads but the number of interruptions and the lack of audio-identifiers for ad segments.

This podcast is a lot of fun to listen to. It will make you smile.

I finally gave this show a chance mainly because of the many positive reviews I read prior to listening, so I thought it was only right to add my own positive review to the stack. I’ve just finished the first season and I absolutely LOVE this show. I’m not always in the mood to listen to an episode, but I never regret taking the time to do so. It’s a rare blend of comedy, self-awareness, charm, and philosophical insight that you won’t find anywhere else. Not every episode is a slam-dunk, but there’s always something to remember. I find myself thinking about something I heard on this show days, or even weeks later. So far each episode has a comedic interview with an inanimate object, and at some point the interviewee will offer an interesting fact. It could be something about the natural world, astronomy, culture, or behavior. But every time (except once) it’s been an interesting fact that I didn’t know. I never would’ve thought that I’d get most of my new factoids from a show about the hidden lives behind inanimate objects. They blend these facts into the interview so seamlessly that I didn’t even realize what was happening until I was nearly done with the first season. This is a great show and I highly encourage anyone with a sense of humor and even the slightest bit of curiosity about the world to give it a chance. It’s incredibly satisfying to listen to.

I really love the interaction among the characters that are interviewed, there’s so much personality and charm in each episode and I just can’t get enough.

This podcast is so cute!! I love imagining all the objects and their lives. It has a funny streak too. Hope there will be more episodes!

This show is my favorite! It is so funny and clever plus I love that it’s perfectly weird and silly! Definitely follow! It’s worth it. I squeal with delight every time a new episode is released.

I really enjoy this show. It is so clever, funny, well acted, well written, well everything. Just today it got my mind off of some work drama and that earns it a million bonus points. Go ahead and follow this one, because you’ll love it too.

This may be the best written and acted podcast available. It’s witty, self-deprecating and provocative. I can share episodes with my grandchildren or just ingest as an antidote to unpleasant news. I highly recommend the (so meta) Behind the Scenes. So silly and at the same time, nuanced.

I listen to a lot of true crime podcast, which can be dark and disturbing. So this podcast really lightens the day. Always makes me smile.

Everything Is Alive is so good. Every episode makes me either smile or cry. Sometimes both at once. They are lovely tone poems that explore the “thing’s” feelings and also ours. Thus the laughter and the tears. Well done, folks.

Absolutely loved Ginny ! You should have asked her how she feels when an adult puts a baby or an animal on her to ride. Also, you should have asked her if she ever had the misfortune of literally coming across poop. That would have probably been traumatic.
