I like to listen to the interesting and concise stories about interesting and often little-known topics. Also, I don’t have a German-speaking friend where I live so the podcast helps me keep my language skills.

Listening to a “Zeitzeichen” report is a treat I enjoy almost daily. Sometimes it’s fun to check back about recent reports I missed; then I get to indulge in binge-listening a few at once. It’s fascinating to hear details about familiar events and people; details that make those moments in History much more relevant and important than I had initially thought them to be. It’s an extraordinary public service, and it is much appreciated.
