    100% agree.More purple is needed
I was looking forward to the NYM logo being purple on the hat, similar to the icon on social media. I will wait to but the hat until then but the bomber jacket looks awesome.

    DH Dilemma
Hey guys! With JD Martinez nearing his Mets debut (potentially this weekend), what do you see the Mets doing with DJ Stewart? Stewart has played well enough to remain with the big club, but do you really carry two DHs? And if so, who is the odd-man out on the roster? Thanks! — Tom from NJ

    Amazin’ Podcast
Diehard Mets fan living out of state, I listen to this podcast each week on my drive to and from work! As someone trying to get more into minor league baseball/farm systems, what advice do you have? Is it best to follow a minor league club, or individual players as they rise through the ranks? If the latter, who do you recommend and what’s the best way to follow? Thanks for all you guys do! Plenty of more questions coming on the horizon :)

    LGM, Great show!
Always a good in depth discussion of both what’s going on in the majors, along with what’s going on in the farm.

    The Pete Problem
Writing this after the wild ride that was game one in Atlanta. First, much love from Binghamton— Jett continues to Jett love watching him play. Pete has been struggling and this isn’t me piling onto that, I’ve never seen Pete as my 3 hitter. We love Pete for what he provides, but I think the cleanup spot is where he needs to be. I don’t care if he gets an extra 30 at bats a season if 25 of those will be strikeouts. He drives in runs when runners are on— who does that? the cleanup hitter. I’d contemplate putting Baty in the 3 and alvarez in the 5 until Martinez comes into the fold and he becomes my 3 hitter. What’re your thoughts? (Hulk Hogan voice) Love the show brothers!

    Very insightful
Awesome podcast Keep up the great work Can you give us an update on Matt Allan? Will we ever see him pitch in the big leagues?

    LGM!
Love the show! How good does Brett Baty need to be this year for the Mets not to go after Alex Bregman next offseason?

    Best Mets pod out there!
Great show. Keep it up guys. Let’s get some players on the show for interviews!

    One of the best
One of the best podcasts out there covering the Mets. Always enjoy the thoughtful and measured commentary.

    Awesome pod
It seems like Alvarez is basically locked in as the starting catcher, which is exciting. What are your thoughts on how his workload is managed and how many games he plays (assuming he’s healthy)? Obviously don’t want to run our young catcher into the ground, but I feel like his power is really needed in the lineup. Is there a way to work him into some DH spots for rest (difficult with catchers?). Love the pod!

Great show, very entertaining and informative
Joe and Connor do a great job of breaking down all of the Mets news you could possibly want from the big league club to the minor leagues. A must listen for any Mets fan.

    Fantastic Mets Pod
Every Tuesday I wait until the new pod drops. They mix the Mets with the minor league prospects. They both come from a realistic but optimistic Mets fan perspective. Who has the best chance of a championship over the next 3 years, Mets, Jets or Cowboys? Do you think 2025 or 2026 is more realistic for a big time run? Thanks guys!

    Best Mets Podcast
As a diehard optimistic Mets fan, finding a good Mets podcast are few and far between. Joe and Connor have sound opinions and arguments without being overtly negative like many Mets podcasts I have found. Joe has an exceptional understanding of player development, the free agent market, and roster management. This is complemented nicely by Connor who is able to articulate and facilitate different topics seamlessly creating an interesting conversation between them. I always look forward to the notification that a new podcast has dropped every week. I hope that SNY understands what a special podcast they have produced and wish they can continue this for years to come because they truly are an incredible duo. Let’s go Mets! - Jack Furlong

    Best Mets Podcast
I never miss an episode. Definitely the best podcast for Mets fans to listen to every week.

    Top of the top
By far the best Mets podcast out there. Joe and Connor do a great job balancing objectivity with wit, knowledge and fun — talking about a team they love. In an era where many Mets fans are doom & gloom, this podcast is an awesome beacon for what the average Mets fan should be excited about.

    Mets fans need to listen!!
Joe & Connor do an incredible job to give unique perspectives to the Mets both in-season and throughout the offseason! Mail bag questions are always great and both will always interact on twitter which makes this feel like a close knit Mets community. There really are no 2 better hosts to listen about the Mets. My only complaint is that there isn’t more !!! Seriously though, 2 of the best!

    Mailbag question
Love the pod guys, I’m very interested in the possibility of the Mets trading for mike trout and feel like he could become the face of New York baseball if we got him to queens. Is a trout trade possible and if so why haven’t we heard much of anything about it.

    Over Under
I think you guys should put the same questions out for a Twitter vote. So the listeners can join in the fun.

    Balanced real but Not Believers
Why would I want to listen to such negativity. Real but negative ain't for me. Dear GOD give me back the pod with Jolly Olive and Jerry Blevins.
  • rseilham
    Best Mets Podcast!
    Intelligent and balanced.

    Batting Lineup
I was surprised to hear the criticism of the Mets batting lineup on the last episode. Someone called it “insane”. Really? This appears to be the same lineup order for the most part that won 101 games last year. Lighten up guys.

    City connect
I too am worried about the City Connect jerseys. Figure the Yankees wont let Nike do anything crazy so theyll want to go nuts with the other NY team. I have a fear it will be based off of the Home Run Apple. I foresee RED jerseys. Colorado had green Boston had yellow. Doesnt have to be a team color. In dreading red jerseys and green hats where we look like a stupid Christmas apple. I hate the whole program! Your program I love though. Thanks for all you do its a great listen every week!

Steve Cohen Butt Smoochers! Be proud fellas, Cohen only shelled out 2 Billion dollars to resolve SEC and criminal charges.

    Mets Lover
I am a Mets fan and have been since I learned that they existed. I believe that The Mets Pod does a very good job at explaining everything about the team and all the possibilities that could happen in the future. They paint a very good picture of the team and their future. By far, the best podcast I’ve ever listened to.
  • corydon brent
    Best in the biz
Some incredible interviews and insights, especially when they’re covering the Mets farm system. Highly recommend tuning in! Mailbag question: assuming the Mets let Walker and Bassit walk do you think the Mets will be in on Kodai Senga if he gets posted? Feel like he’d be a great cost effective option to replace bassit.
  • Hhggvv
    2022 vs 2007?
Maybe it’s reactionary but I think 2022 will be more haunting of a season than 2007. Do you guys agree? Obviously 2007 team didn’t even win make postseason whatsoever, but not even making NLDS there’s no effective difference. So many amazing memories over the first 5 months just completely soured and tainted by how the season ended.

Go Mets these guys are awesome
These guys are awesome I love it when I get a notification and it says the Mets pod made an episode
  • Erocsit
Shorter show since moving to SNY
Disappointed that my favorite Mets podcast landed with SNY….i don’t enjoy the content as much. I also dislike having less of Connor and Joe giving their opinions (as they spend more time interviewing guests)….

    Great Mets Pod
We need longer or more frequent pods. Love your work but feels like your forcing some imposed time limit from SNY with all the things to talk about. Of course I still love your work, you guys are great at this keep it up! Can you help temper this Soto mania? Of course any team would want his talent and people want the next shiny thing but hear me out…. Mets will have Bassit, Walker, Carassco, DeGrom, Diaz, May, Lugo, Nimmo as free agents this offseason. They also need to replace Dom/Davis (sooner than later) as well as upgrade the catching position. Add Cahna/Escobar the next year & big raises to McNeil & Alonso. Thats a ton of talent to replace/resign/pay more. Adding Soto while likely leaving the upper farm barren (Baty/Alvarez/Allen) will force the Mets to be very creative or spend beyond insane money. Soto already costs 17million. He will make a lot more the next two years even before his major contract comes up. He is an amazing player especially for the age. But he doesn't steal bases like Trout or play good defense, he is an insanely good bat. Would I love to have him? Of course. I just don't think he fits in our current situation as we already have a 300mil payroll with huge upcoming holes to fill. This draft I'm sure will help our system but realistically they are some time away from helping the big club. I mean, is there really no limit to the Mets spending at all? I also enjoy seeing Mets draft and develop players more than poaching other teams stars. I think there is a time and place for that...just not now. This may be the more boring take but it’s the more realistic one for long term success of the club. Too many people caught up in Sotomania. Say no to Soto. Of course if they can get clever and pull this off without giving up Alvarez and half the farm then sign me up.

    SNdud
Love Conor and Joe but that’s the problem there’s not enough Conor and Joe since the move under the SNY umbrella. The show is too short and it’s filled with interviews now, interviews are cool and all but I enjoy the insight from the fellas on how they think things are going, roster management, series breakdowns etc.
  • steph anderson7
SNY 🤝 that’s so Mets = best combo since Reyes and Wright
I really enjoyed the that’s down Mets pod and shea anything so these two coming together was awesome! Joe demayo knowing everything about prospects is a cool insight a lot of other Mets pods don’t have. Can we get Gary Cohen on the pod though? I think he would have so much fun with these guys

Glad to have Joe and Connor back
I am a That’s So Mets listener so glad they are back on the new SNY Mets pod. No one covers Mets better major and minor league than these two. Keep up good work !! Wish the shows were longer and more of their analysis.

Great SHow, Great Host, Too Short.
This Show is amazing when it was thats so mets it was a 5 star review. The show is too short now.
  • JarvisK28
    Love the show
Hey Joe and Connor, love the show and everything you guys cover. It’s been a very exciting and positive start to the season so far, but I think the thing I've enjoyed seeing most is Lindor’s incredible start after a disappointing first year as a Met. What was been the most encouraging thing you guys have seen so far?
  • God amongst men
    Fantastic show
Connor is a great host that has fun on all of his pods and no one knows the entire Mets organization better then Joe. They talk about the entire system and what to expect short term and long term.
  • Maliciousmiller
No Doug, Andy, Keith or Blevins. No thank you!
Terrible decision not to bring them back. Unsubscribe. Zero stars
  • junglebabu
    Monotonous Doug but otherwise good
    Alright Doug. Show some emotions
  • Eman914
    Fun Listen
I will no longer listen to this podcast if Keith Hernandez continues to be on it. I feel so sad and disappointed that he’s actually a conspiracy theorist and an anti vaxxer. I know he took the Covid vaccine probably so he could continue working, but his advocacy of RFK jr’s total crackpot new book showed who he really is. I feel bad for Gary and Ron.
  • Adam Ge
    Difficult to get through
Martino is the smug guy in high school who you wanted to punch out. He has little to offer and he pretends to break stories that are much to do about nothing. Williams is a competent host. The best part of this podcast is when Hernandez is on. Keith always has something to offer. As mediocre as this podcast is, it is the best of the few Mets podcasts around.
  • jkidcrew14
    Thumbs up
Really enjoy each podcast and Jerry has been a real good addition.
  • TB516631
    Worst episode yet
That “Rockstar” who claimed to be a Mets fan did well to portray the most clueless fan you could possibly be. They should have recorded that interview and just bagged it immediately.
  • StevOles
    Slipping
Used to like the podcast a lot. Now there are a lot more educated in depth podcasts out there on the mets. Keith is the highlight of the entire pod. If it weren't for him, I probably wouldn't listen anymore. Andy is atrocious, always acting like he is hiding something. Doug was good, but slipping recently. Seems more like he is just doing it for the network now and not also enjoying it. Just my thoughts
  • AJPally
    LGM
I enjoy the former players on this podcast! Keith Hernandez is a national treasure! Jerry Blevins is a fun addition. Anthony Recker was really good filling in. Doug Williams and Andy Martino didn’t play professional baseball for the New York Mets. Neither did I. End of review.
