Willam’s nasty attitude makes it hard to get through at times

When I first started listening I was bombarded with a dense and impenetrable wall of inside jokes and sound effects and I thought there is no way I can keep up with all this puzzling wisdom. Fast forward to today and I am singing DERRRICK to myself as I drive around and can probably explain 90% of the references to a horrified third party. I've never felt more alive

the quality + entertainment value has been going down in recent years. the format of the episodes feels increasingly scripted. i can literally hear dipper's writing, which ends up being more than half of the show. (the episode without dipper when willam and alaska were together in australia was lovely!) my editorial note would be to dump the dip, at least his scripts, and get back to what the ladies do best: being funny and iconic! 💝

I absolutely love this podcast, never miss an episode, whether they are talking about drag race or just life I am always entertained and laughing and feel like im hanging with my besties. Also love the dynamic between Willam and Alaska. Perfection

Willam has always been problematic. Entitled and embittered, years later, that actions are taken against them when they break the rules. Drag con “scandal”, if you go somewhere where you know the host and organizer, Rupaul, does not like you or want you there, you are an instigator. But honestly the real tipping point, they recently said “we’re discussing the Vivienne’s passing over on our patreon”. Using someone’s death to market your patreon and make yourself money is actually disgusting. Way better drag / drag race podcasts to check out.

Love this podcast. Love Naomi. Love Naomi as a guest. But help her find her way to the mic and give her 20 Red Bulls next time she gives her fashion thoughts. I really had to strain when she was talking and her energy level was garbage mama. I very much want to her take on the fashion.

I don’t know where I’d be without these two. The rewatch value of every single episode is insane. They have gotten me through so many hard days. Love them 🐇

Such a fun podcast, love the girls, love Big D. I've listened to every episode ... from the very beginning. Willam's brutal honesty is witty, refreshing and entertaining. Alaska is great, but tends to be everyone's cheerleader which sometimes comes across as disingenuous. I always look forward to the next episode.

They mention Sh*ron like once a month. A racist who never took accountability. I don’t care that she and Alaska used to date and that Willam has a soft spot for her. It really shows who they make exceptions for. Don’t let Sh*ngela come up and they are tight lipped. But when it comes to Sh*ron they have all the nice things to say. Makes me think they were in those rooms where she would say slurs for fun and not say anything.

Thank you for taking a stand on what is happening to the Palestinian people. You all could just ignore it and you aren’t. It’s brave but you guys have always been brave. Keep the poli sci in ladies, it’s my favorite stuff y’all talk about, and it’s refreshing. Also Alaska thank you for your words surrounding the mario business, it’s high time those that benefit from the suffering of us all know what it means to suffer. Healthcare reform now.

Love Willam and his honesty and how he keeps it real. Alaska is a class act who always keeps me entertained with her various accents and wit. Both balance and compliment each other so perfectly. They keep me laughing and this has been my favorite podcast for years.

I really really love this podcast, I look forward to every single episode, (I am so excited that currently you are doing druk I always wished you would do the uk seasons) there is no better podcast in my opinion, I have finally listed to every episode and wait every week for the notification! Usually when I listen to duo podcasts I end up starting to love one cohost and dislike the other ( I’m not sure why) but after three years of listening this is THE ONLY podcast where that hasn’t happened. I love Alaska and Willam so much, I can’t get enough of this show !

Incredible podcast - but I think we would love for classique coverage, especially when it was promised. The DRUK coverage is great, but we are waiting to hear about our beloved seasons from the original franchise and your takes. All love.

I have been a friend of the pod for about 4 years now. Race Chaser has occupied my long walks during Covid, long commutes, and showers on the daily and I couldn’t be more grateful. Been a fan of the pod from the very beginning, but the constant burping this season was getting more and more annoying with each episode. Can we get a burp-free All Stars 3, please? In the words of Tatianna: Thank you.

I’m a 54 year old gay guy, which puts me about 15 years younger than Rupaul and 15 years older than you two FABULOUS hosts. I watched your competing Seasons in real time and was immediate fans. I remember seeing Rupaul’s first video on MTV and dancing to “You Betta Work” at the club. Your understanding of Herstory makes a middle-aged person really feel seen and appreciated and your youth keeps me young and connected to what’s current. Y’all ROCK.

Love the pod and hate to be such a Karen, but the amount of unedited burping has gotten ridiculous to listen to.

However the recap of All Stars 2 was kinda lackluster.

I love Willam and Alaska and love to hear what they think/say, but I’ve noticed a shift in mood these past handful of episodes and it dips into very unpleasant territory. I’m not trying to be mean or anything but the momentum will completely stop because Willam has a take that’s not very charitable, Alaska tries to add nuance to help explain, Willam doubles down, the entire room gets silent for a few seconds, and then they all move on like it never happened. It just makes listening uncomfortable.

What once was a fun podcast with actual opinions on episodes has declined into a weekly reading off information from a recap sheet Dipper has prepared without actual opinions given. That I could be okay with. But Alaska’s loss of interest/fun and Willams weird, increasing bitterness has taken away the enjoyment.

I’ve listened to this podcast since (almost!) the beginning and my love for it has only grown. Whether it’s a RPDR recap or an episode of Hot Goss, I love spending time with Willam, Alaska, and their illustrious guests. Highly recommend this podcast to bring a little joy to your life. ETA: lots of MOUTH SOUNDS lately!!!

This pod is always a bright spot in my week! Alaska and Willam are just a friggin DELIGHT! And Dipper, I see what you do and you’re the best. Everyone has a podcast but not that many people really know how to do it well. This is the Only podcast that I can’t wait to hear. The people who rag on Willam need to grow up - he’s here to give an opinion as someone who walks the walk and who knows what he’s doing. He’s also been lauded by Ru and others on the show as someone who’s really on top of their game. I personally have learned a lot about styling listening to his critiques. How boring it would be if Alaska and Willam just loved every single thing! When he critiques the outfit he always says how it could be improved and these are really free style lessons I live for. Alaska is so lovely and charming and brings a totally different sensibility- together it’s just so good and always hilarious as well. What more could you want? Thanks you guys for making so many shows - I don’t know how you manage to do so much but I really appreciate you!
