(Mario500)A Review of "Tech Tent"I had found what I had believed to had been certain recordings and certain broadcasts of what I had believed to had been this "Tech Tent" to had been interesting, informative, enjoyable, and pleasant (for example, they did not have language I would describe as vulgar or profane).

SAARKÉSHTwitter mattersToo much hype over a messaging platform which has been primarily used for manipulation of markets & market players including Mr Musk! He needs it as a main “communication” conduit but is it worth as much as the offered price? Nah! Twitter, in it’s current state is a teenage “playground” at best. The offer needs to shrink by 48% to make it a viable basis for more interesting possibilities… but money is not everything! Time and vision is! Mr musk is too busy to be able to take it there 💎

Mantis79Good, but another biased BBC podcastI enjoy listening, but you have to try to not pay attention to the obvious bias against anything conservative, the spin is real.

armanbnNot better than a superficial chit chatSince years I’ve been listening to the Tech Tent podcast from the BBC. I have just unsubscribed from this podcast after the last episode, because for me it was the last drop seeing the decline of the quality of the podcast. The lack of quality in the information provided is unbelievable and the guests on the show together with the moderator are just having a very superficial chit chat about important topics in the tech industry. The level of this chat and information provided would not hold scrutiny in journalism of the standards BBC usually sets in politics and economy. The last episode with a discussion about passwords provided no proper information about how to be safe online - suggesting that even the moderators are not using safe password is extraordinarily careless. The moderator asks if there are better solutions to password managers, but instead of listing a number of alternatives such as FIDO2 or others, the moderators conclude that there are none and let’s just continue happily as before. This is gross negligence for me. Good bye Tech Tent!
