The show is too political

This is quite possibly the most boring show on tech I’ve heard. The announcers are very monotone and have difficulty getting there point across. Seems like it needs a boost.

Before listening I read the show notes and skip any week they will be talking about a subject that is in any way political. I’m so tired of the liberal bias and snarky remarks about conservatives or their views.

Was a long time listener but bias is and going way off away from real tech has done it for me. This show just keeps moving away from tech and getting more of a feeling of trying to push the bias onto the listener.

While I appreciate most of your content, your woke liberal and leftist bias is too much, unsubscribed. When you take the woke “misinformation /disinformation” out, and strictly talk tech again, I might resubscribe.

20 minutes of information stretched out for over an hour!

This show feels like a relic of the pre-podcast days in which it is bloated with too many low quality topics and discussion from hosts who aren’t that prepared. The ads are obnoxious and the topics drift around without moderator discipline. You can find far better tech podcasts than this one.

The hosts have very little chemistry. I feel like the only time Jason talks is to tell us about an ad, and the other guy (don’t even remember his name) is just so dull, and the questions they ask are mud and and simple. The discussions went from being insightful and interesting to now just being older Gen-X adults just not understanding something. It kinda just feels like a B-tier version of the main show, something Laporte let go downhill long ago. I was hoping to resubscribe to the TWiT network now that i have time to listen to podcasts again, but it’s just not what it used to be. What a shame.

I was a listener for months now, but today I just could not continue. They had Damon Perez discussing hardware obsolescence and how software sometimes drives this issue. Complained about how Apple does this with their iPhones, but then mentioned how they have gotten a “little bit better” as the latest iOS still supports the iPhone 6s… which was released in 2015!! Also complained about hardware obsolescence… my wife and I still use our iPhone 7’s and likely won’t upgrade until we are forced… but these phones have lasted far longer than anticipated. If you cannot find better guests than this, there are far more informative podcasts available.

I really trust this show for tech news but listening to Jason Howell and Mikah Sargent say things like they dont want to “learn about crypto” made me sad. Rather then understand bitcoins almost 12 years of uncensored money they puff the idea away. I would hope they can get a guest like Pomp or alike to explain the finer points in simple language. Also any guest they have to talk about bitcoin always seems deliberately underinformed.

I enjoy this show!

Jason Howell and Mikah Sargent are skilled interviewers, and the producers find fantastic guests to interview with relevant insight into the topic of the day. I like getting daily tech news but I also like getting a deep dive from Jason and Mikah every week.

I know I know - another amazing podcast to recommend to you. Before you say “I have enough podcasts on my list...” let me ask you this - do you listen to a variety of podcasts? I personally enjoy the mystery/solving crimes podcasts - but soon realized I had only tapped into a fraction of what is out there. So I decided to broaden my mind and searched for tech related podcasts (since that is where I lack the most). This was one of the suggestions that appeared - Tech News Weekly. I decided to give it a go - and I am so glad I did! Jason and Mikah are genuinely enjoyable to watch! Their energy is contagious and I have learned something new every episode I have watched. I HIGHLY suggest subscribing to these two (plus amazing guests) right now! Thank you for keeping the podcast world exciting, fresh and accurate. I appreciate you both!

This used to be a pretty good listen. Lately the obvious left leaning politics of all the guests makes it difficult to think the news being reported is unbiased.

What a boring show, boring topics. Talk about tech, science, 3D, games, space. Try to bring interesting guests.

They never challenge guest journalists. They accept the guest comments without asking about source validity. Goal is entertainment rather than news.

I like this podcast and look forward to each episode. Good audio quality.

This pod cast usually futures three journalist and the stories thy have just published. I love this pod cast but will admit to going to 1 1/2 and even 2x speed. Grate show bt you may want to speed through it.

Learned so much. Wirecutter and the Ringer are my favorite websites, good to here from their writers on this great podcast. Didn’t even know what a VPN was before I listened, Mark and all the other guests Killed it.

I miss the daily podcast . There is a void in daily podcasting reviling tech

It's a great show. I just wished they focused less on commercial tech stuff and more on government and academic tech. I'm not looking to buy the next Apple or Amazon so-and-so. I want to know what's the cutting edge of tech. How's that James Webb telescope doing? Also, why are there reviews from 2010? I thought this show only had 15 episodes to date?

This was great as a daily tech podcast. I mostly did the audio version. It was great to hear the tech news on my way into work. Now this is a glorified weekly wrap up. There are enough of those. Please bring back the daily format. I enjoy the hosts. I enjoy the network. I haven’t unsubscribed, but I’m getting there.

I miss the daily format of TNT, but TnW is still a great show, and always worth a listen

Pleas keep to tech not politics...

Decent tech news made boring and ultimately led to me un-subscribing because the hosts, Megan in particular, feels as though her politically motivated comments about certain people and companies are universally accepted. Sorry but there are much better ways to get tech news. No thanks.

Great way to get the tech news with an uplifting and fun beat.

Although it's described as a daily news show, posting times have inexplicably slipped steadily to later and later, with yesterday's show (9 August 2017) hitting the feed after 23:00. Seriously? It's no longer worth the wait, I've unsubscribed. Enough with SquareSpace, LegalZoom, Zip-Recructer etc! Primetime television shows have a fewer ads per 30 minutes than this show. The ads aren’t even creative or clever, just repetition of the same 2-3 bits of info over and over for 4-7 minutes - Seriously? Also, do they ever do sound checks? At least half of the remote guests are nearly unintelligible due to echo and background noise. Episode 1310 had a guest who sounded like he was vacuuming inflight!

I tried listening to this but the format is not very good. Mostly it annoyed me because there are waaaaaay too many commercials for a show that doesn't even go an hour. I'm all for sponsored shows but wow, this is ott.

I have been listening to twit podcasts since they started. Lately, between Leo and Moroney it is just an irritation to listen to. You keep saying you want to stay out of politics but keep bringing it up. I have deleted many apps because of the same thing. I love you Leo but the irritation is getting to the point of not being worth dealing with.

Jason and Megan are great! This show is fun and informative.

I had basically quit listening to this podcast when Megan and Jason came aboard and changed everything. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, and practical discussion of tech news makes the show awesome. Whether they are the Wonder twins or Calvin and Hobbes of tech news, I will tune in for every show.

Biased, sensational reporting and misinformation. These guys need to put their act together!

This has become one of only two things I actually make sure I listen to daily. The topics are always interesting, the banter enjoyable, and I feel more informed than ever. Great job guys, keep it up!

The quality of twit shows have gone down over the last 2 years I have long unsubstantiated from all twit show.

When TNT lost Tom Merritt as its host, I was so disappointed in Mike Elgan as a replacement. But I felt giving him the benefit of knowing it takes time to get into the groove of a new gig was fair. Well, that was almost two years ago, and Elgan has failed to capture my interest. This show, along with everything else from the perishing TWiT network, is tainted by the perverse ringleader Leo Laporte.
