I found this late unfortunately, but I couldn’t be happier I did. I wish they would come back and make more episodes!

    Favorite podcast!
Fun and well-produced storyform podcast, highly edited with music and interesting interviews. Mysteries are smart and original with surprising developments. Adding this to my regular mix.

    Death Valley rock mystery!
I attended a lecture in the early 1990s. This lecture was given by Reed from Hampshire college. He claimed that the rocks at Death Valley moved precisely the way that you describe in your podcast. Your investigators did add GPS but in my opinion this issue was settled 20 years earlier. I think this had been solved for almost big time. Ice picking up the boulders? It’s been said.

    Bring on Season 2!
Just finished up all of Season 1 over this weekend. As a child, I was always interested in the mysterious and occult but as I got older, I studied more hard sciences that preach the significance of empirical evidence. This show did a fantastic job of creating the intrigue surrounding each curiosity, satisfying my childhood side, while explaining the science behind it that allows my adult side to feel some closure. Thanks, Kaleigh and Tim, for all of your hard work in producing this fantastic podcast and I greatly look forward to Season 2.

    Maybe, maybe not.
Bastardizing ideas limits science and creation of hypothesis' of other people. What limits science in modern culture? Arrogance. I don't like how some of the commenters literally laugh through ideas that seem far fetched.. isn't this part of learning? Some of the scientific view points haven't "solved" anything. Maybe a disclaimer this is partly and opinion based science podcast. I'm especially turned off by prehistoric ideas and ancient cultures. Doesn't feel credible. Throwing around the words "scholars agreed" means nothing to me.

    Love this podcast!
I love every part of this podcast! The narration is perfect, the music is appropriately chosen and timed and the information given is fascinating!!! To me, this is one of my top 10!!! Can't wait for the next season!!!

    One of my favorite podcasts
The show is a great mix between a mystery and a documentary, blending a detailed summary of each week's phenomenon with first-hand accounts and interviews with the scientists who researched it into a flowing narrative. It tells the stories of the strange corners of the world and the people who took the time to crawl into them. So many mysteries lose their luster once they're solved, but Science Solved It does a great job bringing out the wonder in even the most mundane-seeming explanations. Can't wait for the next season.

Science + Fun = Great Radio
Science Solved It is a short, action packed show that asks a question, and explores multiple answers before leaving you with something a little less concrete. It's respectful, while also enjoying some amount of tension, by teasing out the history and development of an idea. It's the best kind of pop sci, that veers away from sensationalism and draws you into the story of discovery. Excellent interviews, smart production, and the succinct package leaves little to be desired. A must listen every week so far, and I'm not worried about that changing any time soon.

    Why the F-Bomb?
I thought this was a cool concept. Enjoyed the "bloop" episode with my kids but was disappointed with the profanity. Hoped my seven-year-old hadn't noticed but nothing gets by him.

    Bring me more!
Great! Really fun and interesting podcast. I would love to see this expanded, longer episodes and what not. Love it!
  • acdmd
    Superb
Quick to the point and concise. Nice build up to the finale and answer ... NOT long and rediculously drawn out to fill an hour like those clowns on the other popular podcast...and YOU KNOW ab whom Im referring!

  • mcratl
    Engaging content
I love this show! It's not too lengthy, and keeps it interesting by exploring a lot of ideas about the problem before delving in to the answer. Great way to learn something and enjoy what you're listening to at the same time.
  • CaliZorroMan
    EXCELLENT!
I appreciate the way time they take to tell the back story. Especially if you were never exposed to the mystery before, you really wouldn't know the "questions" to ask. Plus I get to share these with my grandchildren and help grow their natural curiosity for our world. I'm 3 episodes' in and I can't wait for more. Great work! BRAVO!
  • mikideez

    Solved Mysteries
I love a good mystery and love the curious feeling I get when science confuses even the most scientific minds. This is a well-done podcast in that it's short, informative and has great sound effects used to enhance the information. I recommend it!

Great production, and really interesting. This show is perfect. It's not too complicated for a non-scientist person to understand.
